Bloomberg Government is providing me with a resource for staying on to pof of government activities. It facilitates access to information on legislative, regulatory, and contracting developments. The ultimate advantage lies in a more informed and prepared approach to navigating the complexities of the government environment. Additionally, the high subscription costs could be prohibitive for smaller entities, limiting access to vital information and perpetuating information disparities. It remains crucial to question whether Bloomberg Government genuinely resolves issues or merely introduces new challenges and disparities in the process.

**Reviewed by:** Durin H. | Account Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Bloomberg Government?**

Bloomberg Government has some of the best capabilities to track trending stories and client-relevant content out there. I rely on BGov, Meltwater and Google News to keep me informed (in addition to newsletters like Politico and Axios) but by far BGov has the most relevant and time-sensitive updates.

**What do you dislike about Bloomberg Government?**

I do not find the app version particularly useful. I generally use my laptop for work rather than my phone anyway so it is not an impediment for my work, but it is less easily navigable.

**What problems is Bloomberg Government solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to track media mentions and access to Bloomberg Industry Group's extensive reporting. I have daily emails curated by BGov, as well as ones created by my requests. This is in addition to Bloomberg breaking news alerts. I do not have a Bloomberg subscription outside of BGov, so this also helps find and cache articles written across the space.
