What do you like best about Blogely?

In a world filled with AI (artificial intelligence) tools, Blogely stands out because it is basic and as of now, it does not have an AI writing feature. Blogely is the perfect tool for people like me. I have been a professional writer since 1986 and although I do own several AI writing tools, there are times when I just want to start with a plain white page, and that is what Blogely provides. I like that the pages are plain and it does have a good research module, for the most part, it is a place to write and store documents. I consider it a Google Docs on steroids for writers. What do you dislike about Blogely?

Blogely has gone through a lot of updates. The interface has changed many times in the past. For a while, I felt like I had to relearn Blogely every time I logged in. Right now, (Feb. 2022) I think this is the best version of Blogely and I hope it stays this way for a while. I have also heard that Blogely might add an AI feature. I hope it does not because there are many other writing platforms that do. I am happy that Blogely has avoided becoming another AI writer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blogely?

I love being able to search the tool for specific content ideas. It allows completing the research process for the topics and keywords. I am then able to create outlines and complete the content in one place. As well as publish and share the blog Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blogely?

I found some confusion when starting to use the tool because of all its functionality. It just takes time to get used to new software. The credits can be restricting, but there is an option to buy more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blogely?

I am new to blogging, and it can be a bit overwhelming trying to figure out which tools to use for what purposes (content creation/management, SEO optimization, etc.).

When you first start using Blogely, it may not be evident if you haven't gone through any of the tutorials, but it has a LOT of functionality that I have not seen from any other single tool.

Also, I reached out to support about what I thought was a bug/error - which turned into a great convo and tutorial on the product with the Founder, he took a lot of time to speak with me, and I learned a LOT about the product! (...and we realized that the original issue I reached out about was user error all along.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blogely?

As there is so much functionality, a lot of what is possible to accomplish in the platform is not obvious - if I didn't watch a few tutorials and reach out to support, etc., I might not have found some of these great features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blogely?

Blogely is the first application that I have found to bring functionality for the entire lifecycle of content creation. Although some pieces are not yet available, you can see that they are planned on their roadmap.

Until I found Blogely I was using a combination of applications; one for creating a content brief and research, one for SEO, one for planning, etc. The majority of these tasks can be done within Blogely, eliminating the need to use different applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blogely?

Navigating is a bit cumbersome and confusing. There are multiple layers when working on an article, and some of the features available overlap those layers. For example, in the "research" view, you can add notes, save links, view SERP snippets, etc. Some of those same options are also available when editing an article, but they are not the same as those found under research. So, if I have a note in the research layer, it is not visible on the notes tab when editing an article.

Ironically, with all of the functionality that Blogely has, it is missing a very basic feature: spellcheck. I typically have to copy my content and paste it into Grammarly, make edits, and then bring those changes back into Blogely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blogely?

I love all of Blogley's features. I love the fact that I can add research notes to review in the Blogley tab without using too many google chrome tabs on my computer. I love Blogley's distraction-free workspace and it's soon to be a social media management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blogely?

There is nothing to dislike about this writing application. It is the greatest content management system that I have ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blogely?

The onboarding process could use a bit of improvement. There is a lot of content on the site as well as youtube tutorials to go through before I felt I had a good understanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blogely?

This platform started as a simple way to manage your posts, from essential researching and asset management to utilizing SEO and managing teams of writers. I invested in this as an early adopter and communicated often with Gennady, the founder of Blogely. I was one of many that were giving their opinions on how to better this product. With tons of user feedback, Blogely has become the go-to article management and blog article marketplace for writers and blog owners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blogely?

Honestly, I had a problem with the workflow in the beginning. But I found that it wasn't Blogely. It was me! I had to reset myself and my workflow to this new methodology. And I haven't looked back or regretted once! It streamlined my business, and I have increased production by 300% in the past few months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
