AR SDK enables developers to develop unique experiences that were once considered impossible. It allowed developers to build apps and software that has drastically changed almost every profession. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AR SDK demands a high level of expertise from programmers that not everyone can achieve. Also, it requires heavy investments in both, hardware and software. Also, AR SDK, in its present form is still not perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AR SDK?

AR SDKs are an easy and convenient option to build any augmented reality software for Android or iOS platforms. The nature of these SDKs being platform-independent gives the developers the freedom to develop this highly used hi-tech software with ease. Once deployed, users can use it across multiple mobiles and wearable AR devices to orient and track objects very close to the real-world objects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AR SDK?

There are many AR SDKs available currently, both open-source and licensed. But, by nature each AR SDKs are not compatible to serve different project reuirements. It is not like one-size fits all. So, choosing multiple AR SDKs for ever changing project requirements can be a tedious job sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering AR SDK:

I highly recommend it if you plan to develop an augmented reality product or device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AR SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used AR SDK to build an in-house android APP for tracking the objects in front and back of an autonomous car. The best benefit that we tested was the self-parking feature post-deployment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
