"Fun, Organized Channels That Keep Our Team Connected and Informed"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

Staying in contact with my coworkers and up to date on agency news. The specific channels are also really fun to have to keep information organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

The limitations on the font formatting when creating a post and other design options. That there’s no option to search the blink feed and filter what to look for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

The lack of transparency within the workplace, and it’s helping by reaching everyone at the same time not trickling down from the top and missing people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Compliance and Enhances Communication"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I really like the forms feature in Blink. They allow us to create and easily share forms, which are accessible on tablets, phones, and desktops. Capturing signatures with these forms is very important to us. Additionally, they turn digital forms into PDFs that we can store electronically, helping us move away from paper. This feature helps significantly in our transport operations where compliance and interaction with frontline staff are crucial. It helps us capture evidence that certain processes have been followed, like drug and alcohol testing or vehicle checks, and makes the whole process less time-consuming. Blink does all these things in a very engaging way, and the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

I do think that sometimes it can be a little overstimulating because there's an awful lot of content on the first pages. That's fine for some people, particularly if they're using the app regularly. However, for some people, particularly those who are neurodivergent, or just busy and not checking in very much, the amount of content can be quite overstimulating. A 'reduce content' button might help allow people to process that in a simpler form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Blink to streamline processes in transport operations, improve communication, simplify compliance, and provide easy access to information. It reduces time in processing forms and helps share updates and policies effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Kathryn,

Thanks for leaving such a detailed review of Blink - it's great to get high quality feedback as we continue to grow, welcome more customers and develop the product.

It's great that Blink forms has helped you streamline processes across the workforce - particularly for important tests and checks.

We've also recently built the 'recommended' feed toggle, at the top of user feed pages, which helps to streamline the most relevant and engaged content that employees need to see.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to support@joinblink.com if there's anything else we can help with.

Best,

Tom

"Empowering Communication, Needs Better Search"
4/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I appreciate Blink for its intranet features where my company shares posts about project updates and important news. I find the knowledge hub with pages of general information very useful. I like how Blink creates a space for us to share, making it feel like a social media site, allowing everyone to post and comment, rather than just having one-way communication from management. It's easy to post and accessible for all employees. The features like priority posts with tracking for reading confirmation, and the AI help in writing posts are particularly beneficial. These features help me better manage HSSEQ and ISO requirements, providing traceability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

The search function is not great. And finding back to older posts is difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup and Daily Use—A Great Free Option for Charities"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

Blink was very easy to set up, and it’s just as easy to use day to day. As a charity, it’s been great to know there’s no cost for us to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

As a charity user, we get Blink for free; however, we’re unable to take advantage of Blink Forms. As a charity, we have many different team members who use Blink, and we would really benefit from using Blink Forms directly rather than having to link everything to Microsoft Forms. It’s such a shame, because this seemed like a great feature for us. Additionally, there’s no setting to allow or disable email notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having all our nurses on one platform is great. The only issue we’re running into is getting our nurses to join, but unfortunately that’s not something Blink can fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Company-Wide Chat That Keeps Work Communication in One App"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I think the most helpful thing about blink is that you can chat with anyone in the company just by looking up a name. It helps me keep my work content and communication on one app instead of everyone having my personal phone number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

I think blink can get a little confusing to navigate when your places overload it with tons of different content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blink helps bring our workplace together in one app. At Royal, there are always lots of different events happening and changes being made across the company, and Blink makes it easy for everyone to see those updates all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Community Building and Quick Onboarding"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I really appreciate how Blink makes the sharing of any news easy within my role as a marketing and community officer. I like being able to put out posts with links and images while also having the capability to comment and like, which provides a sense of community. I also found that the onboarding process was really quick and worked from the get-go. I would definitely recommend Blink as I rated it a 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Blink: Clean, Intuitive, and Quick to Roll Out Across the Team"
4/5
What do you like best about Blink?

We previously used another platform, which has since been discontinued. When searching for a replacement, there were limited suitable options available; however, Blink stood out. It was straightforward to set up and allowed us to onboard the team quickly. The platform is clean, intuitive, and easy for staff to navigate, even for those who are not particularly tech-savvy. This has helped drive engagement across the team, as users can quickly access what they need without extensive training. Performance has been reliable overall, with no significant issues. The system runs smoothly across devices, and we’ve not experienced any major downtime or delays. From a cost perspective, Blink offers good value for money. The ease of use and quick implementation meant we were able to realise benefits almost immediately, making it a worthwhile investment for our organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

There are a few areas where Blink could be improved. It would be beneficial for each team member to have a more interactive profile where they can post updates and engage with others, helping to build better communication and team connection.

Additionally, it would be useful to have a clearer, more visible way to see who has read messages without needing to go into the settings.

Finally, introducing features such as polls would enhance engagement and make it easier to gather feedback from the team quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blink is helping to improve communication across our teams, particularly in ensuring that important updates and information are shared quickly and consistently. This has reduced reliance on emails and informal messaging, giving us a central place for communication.

As a result, staff are more informed, engagement has improved, and we have greater confidence that key messages are being seen across the organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Communication with Fun Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I find Blink very easy to use, especially for creating the necessary Individyal team threads and sharing information. I appreciate the complete audit trail feature that allows me to save all the notes from a thread for reference. I love the fun features like the tea break and throwing confetti, which we use a lot. I do like that the app works on both desktop and mobile, allowing us to use it anywhere. I like that I can speak into it and send images, which just makes Blink so easy to use overall. "Blink for Logistics Companies"

What do you like best about Blink?

I like that there is a home page & a messaging platform. I also enjoy using the team recognition feature where you can shout out team members that are doing well, have improved, on their birthday, or on their work anniversary! Another thing I've enjoyed about Blink is that they have listened to our feedback in ways to better the platform. For instance, my team suggested to them that they allow the use of all emojis when reacting to messages, and that was a feature they included in their next update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

The only thing I'm currently disliking about Blink is one of the features included in the last update. You used to be able to click the create button, search the person's name who you want to message, and then it would bring you to your direct messages with them even if you've already created a message with them before. But now when you do that it creates a separate chat that almost looks like a group chat between the two of now. The workaround for this is now you must search their name in the search bar, click their name, then click Chat, and send over a message or it will bring you to your existing direct messages with them. A pretty nit-ppcky thing that I dislike but I'm just being honest here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blink has created the solution of how we can disseminate important information to all of our different stations and drivers. It makes it much easier to communicate when you can have different groups that need to know different information. It was very easy to get used to when first switching over after Workplace/Workchat was shut down, and they have since listened to any add-on ideas we've had to make it more user-friendly. The Hub is a great place to keep important documents that you want all employees to be aware of, and you can also make them Mandatory Reads so you can know who has read them or not, which is very helpful if you legally have to distribute a document to each employee (we love saving the Earth one paper at a time!). All in all, I would recommend Blink to other companies that need to communicate electronically. I also enjoy it more than Slack, if you're thinking about switching from Slack to a different platform.
