"Game changer for employee engagement!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

Blink is a simple, effective, easy to use workplace tool. It allows managers to keep the team updated with what's going on within the organisation as well as allow employees to post questions, duty swaps and much much more. With the majority of our workforce being out on the road for most of the day, the messaging feature in Blink is extremely helpful and definitely cuts down the time it takes to deal with issues. The hub is also a useful feature to store files for everyone to have easy access to. To summarise, I don't know what we used to do before we had Blink! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

If not properly monitered it can turn into Facebook with people posting non-work related things! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blink is great at improving employee engagement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super Simple Setup, Rich Features, But Search Needs Work"
4/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I really like how incredibly easy Blink is to set up initially, even with our wide user base. Everyone could fully update it without any difficulties, regardless of their skill level. Also, the social features fill a gap we had with previous intranet platforms, providing the ability to communicate and post updates, which was something completely new for us. We used to rely heavily on chain emails for social interactions, but now Blink gives us an outlet for posting social events or non-business-related updates, which is nice. Moreover, the knowledge base has been great for storing all our policies and procedures in one place, and it's accessible anywhere, which is a huge plus. Using Blink is simple, without the need for any HTML knowledge, unlike other intranets where things were much more complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

I think the search feature was pretty good although sometimes even, yeah, depending on what you were searching for, might just get way too many results, and then it's hard to drill down and find the one that you want maybe by time frame or anything else like that. The only thing that maybe could have been a little bit better is Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Blink:

The social media aspect of Blink was at first a little offputting for us since we just wanted a basic intranet site, but once we launched it, our workforce has really taken to the "Feed" feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Blink to store processes and procedures, making access easy from anywhere. It's simple to set up and everyone can use it without difficulty. The social features reduce chain emails by letting people communicate and post updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Information Sharing and Team Communication"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I love the new Kinetic+ benefits page on Blink, with its really good discounts that match those of mainstream online companies. Blink itself is a very good platform for sharing industry-related information, especially real-time issues that need to be shared with drivers. It enables better communication with the team, allowing for mass information sharing to all drivers, which is crucial given the shift work and over 250 drivers at our depot. It's almost impossible to gather everyone when information affects the entire team, so Blink provides an easy and creative way to distribute this information. As a trainer, when I observe trends in accidents or complaints, I appreciate being able to address these by providing guidance to drivers to mitigate such trends. The initial setup of Blink was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

I find having to save a Word document by using snip it to capture the whole page before loading it into Blink a bit of a hassle. I would prefer if it were easier to save a PDF and just post it. Additionally, I think making it more user-friendly with Word and Excel would be a valuable improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blink enables mass information sharing to all our drivers, it is impossible to get everyone together during shifts. It enhances team communication, allowing me as a trainer to address trends in accidents or complaints and provide guidance to our drivers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosts Engagement and Connection Across a Remote Workforce"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

The opportunities for engagement with colleagues, particularly targeted engagement through the feed, recognition, reactions and chat. It can give an instance sense of sentiment across the business and within a remote workforce it helps us feel more connected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

At first, it can feel a little overwhelming to use, but that's mainly because we only had a broadcast app before. Now that we have been using it for a while, that feeling has settled, and there is very little about the app that I don't like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a predominantly remote workforce, and in my job I support a wide geographical area. Blink helps me to communicate to a bigger audience. It also allows colleagues to provide feedback instantly, creating more meaningful engagement and giving valuable insight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Connecting our teammates, ease of internal communications, direct access to communicate with teammates. That benefits the marketing team and leadership team because we are more confident that our messaging is reaching the right people at the right time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Communication for Seasonal Programs"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I personally really like how easy it is to use Blink on both the app and desktop versions. It's super helpful being able to toggle back and forth, especially when working with parents and when I'm on the go. I can start a message or a group chat on my computer and continue seamlessly on my phone if I need to address something urgently away from my desk. This versatility is particularly useful given the younger age of the counselors we work with, who seem to prefer app-based functions. Additionally, the initial setup of Blink was super easy and we got integrated pretty fast after attending a webinar. It has been very versatile and meets all of our needs. With Blink, I find it super helpful that we can turn it on when we need it due to our seasonal work and then reduce the number of accounts when we don't. It's also very affordable and on par with other options like WhatsApp and iOS group chats. Overall, Blink has been as good, if not better, than what we previously had with Workplace by Meta. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

I would say potentially one area of growth just from an HR perspective. It would be helpful if our company would have access to communication history that happens between our staff just in the event that we ever do need to kind of review that. Just like, you know, if HR needs to review emails history between staff, it would be helpful if HR can also do the same thing through Blink. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blink helps us streamline communication and share resources with staff for our summer programs, making it easy to manage onboarding paperwork and training schedules. It supports seamless communication through group and direct chats, which is vital as we prepare for and run our summer season. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good company portal application with mobile app"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

We've added the mobile app since my last update and that obviously extends the user's access to information and documents. It works beautifully has proven itself a real boon for out-of-hours use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

Does what I need it to do. Nothing obvious to improve. And keeping things simple is a great virtue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

The chief benefit to me is the access to wider company news that the company didn't, prior to Blink, have a good way to communicate to the whole company. It has a full-feature mobile app which allows access to everything when away from the desk, and this has proven extremely useful. For example, because Blink provides access to our absence management form, users can easily, and from anywhere, inform managers of their absence and reasons. Thank you so much for your review! 🌟

It’s great to hear how Blink is helping you stay on top of your tasks, company news, and key documents - and that it’s become something you keep open and use regularly. That’s exactly the kind of day-to-day value we aim to deliver!

We’re especially pleased to hear how useful the mobile app has been for staying connected when you’re away from your desk, whether that’s accessing company updates or quickly submitting things like absence forms. Making it easy for employees to get what they need, wherever they are, is a big part of what Blink is all about.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience - we really appreciate it and look forward to continuing to support you and your team! 💚

"Empowers Global Teams with Effortless Communication"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I believe Blink is a really good social platform to communicate and share ideas. I like that my team across the United States and around the world can share what they are doing and what they are up to, no matter where they are. Whether they're at work or out and about, they can share interesting things, which I might like to see or read. I also found the initial setup of Blink very easy, even though it's been some years now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Communication Tool with Challenges in Comment Moderation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I love the ability to feature news and pin it to the top so that users can see the most important news straight away. There's a separate inbox to reach people instantly, which is great because if an employee doesn’t have an email address, this makes it easy to contact them. I also appreciate that it integrates with our payslips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

Moderating comments can sometimes be very time consuming. It would be good if there was a way to identify comments which may be offensive or against guidelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Blink to help unify communication across different departments, making it easy for staff without email addresses to stay informed and connected. Featuring news and having a separate inbox allows us to instantly share important updates, ensuring everyone is on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Blink Transformed How We Connect and Communicate as a Community"
5/5
What do you like best about Blink?

I found Blink a very innovative tool, for communicating with our colleagues. I believe that it has started to change people's understanding of how we are trying to communicate, not just about business related news, but as a community, which we have many of.

Under our Comms account, we post regularly, multiple times for the week, and sometimes daily on business news, or community related news. We regularly run campaign and initiatives, raising awareness for different causes. Fundamentally, through Blink, it has allowed for us as a department to understand and start to build a rapport with our colleagues, something which we wasn't quite able to do when we just used emails to communicate. Additionally, where we have launched communities across the business, based on similar interests, it has further allowed for rapport and combined interests to come together and connect.

As an Org Admin, it is very beneficial to see the content we share, and how it performs. By seeing this, we can then provide a more in depth insight when explaining how our content lands with people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blink?

Nothing major that really comes to mind. I do think that the pages, when creating and building a page, it's quite basic, and restrictive with how it looks, and what we can do to bring the page more to life and look inviting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blink solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I mentioned, I’d say it’s been about building that bridge and strengthening rapport with our colleagues, which wasn’t quite there before. We’re starting to help people understand how comms works and, in turn, creating more space for them to share their thoughts and ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for your review of Blink! It's great to hear that the platform is working well for you - particularly for building a rapport between colleagues which wasn't possible with email (that's exactly why Blink was created!).
