Over two years ago we committed to building a managed security services offering and vetted multiple security providers in order to find the best solutions. One of the critical pieces of our new security offering was a solid 24/7 managed detection and response solution. We did not have the capacity with our NOC and desk to add this service so we looked for a vendor to fill this need. After vetting multiple 24/7 MDR providers we chose Blackpoint Cyber and after two years of using their service, we are extremely pleased! We highly recommend them for your 24/7 MDR needs. Their team! They are all based in the USA (necessary for many of our manufacturing, financial and other customers) and they are super friendly, super smart, easy to work with, quick to respond, and when the need arises, very helpful. We have worked with other 24/7 NOCs in the past and have found the staffs to be over whelmed, under qualified, not friendly, some times hard to understand. BP's team rocks! Very fast response times for any cyber security threats - typically we are alerted with a few minutes by a security analyst of any suspicious behaviour. The ability of the service to quickly sort through real threats vs all the usual daily IT activities is also impressive - we have yet to receive a false positive alert.
