It really gives high preference to security especially IOTs where most OS fail to provide good security making them vulnerable to hack threats Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Could be more user friendly, sometimes the interface is laggy or needs to be restarted Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BlackBerry QNX is built with security in mind. It is a real-time operating system (RTOS) capable of ensuring predictable reaction times in the face of unexpected occurences. As a result, it's perfect for use in mission-critical applications like those found in the automobile and aerospace sectors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a sophisticated operating system that might take some time to master. This may be an issue for certain people. Blackberry QNX is not the most affordable operating system available. This may be a consideration for some organisations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many things to like about BlackBerry QNX, but some of my favorite features include its real-time operating system, its advanced security features, and its support for a wide range of devices and platforms. BlackBerry QNX is a great choice for businesses and organizations that need a reliable and secure operating system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few things that I dislike about BlackBerry QNX. First, the platform can be a bit challenging to develop for. Second, the app selection is not as robust as other platforms. Finally, the platform can be a bit unstable at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Blackberrry QNX is expectionally good in developing the interface for infotainment systems and can be used in Connected Car tech, that make this stand out from the rest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The major downside of QNX Hypervisor is, it's not portable across other microservices, cause it doesn't support other microcontrollers, if that's improved this product would be groun-breaker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
QNX has two striking advantages that other "true" real time operating systems can not beat. First is its micro-kernel design in nature so it is very flexible and scalable. The second is it follows POSIX programming standard which is a great advantage to timing push to the market from idea to product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support. And in nature it is extremely difficult to build a complex system that has many components. This is because the bare micro-kernel only provides an ability of scheduling the components, however, if one wants those components systematically working together, to the end a monolithic kernel will be eventually evolved into from the microkernel, and if so, why not simply start from mature technology like Linux? That is, unless the poor performance, that is, giving up the potential not small amount of hardware ability to comply with slow message passing of qnx (so to loosly combine the components together), is tolerable, the QNX is not a good choice to go. Obviously if the system is simple enough, say only a few components like IOT stuff, it sounds like a competitive candidate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very good overall operating BlackBerry QNX system. Precise direction and operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As good as it is , there is always room for improvement. I think it can still be upgraded to a better and faster one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its interface is very friendly and works quite well, I was pleasantly surprised by the software, its features and benefits, in addition to all the new things it brings. I believe that in the future it will give a lot to talk about and little by little it will gain more recognition among us consumers, both on a small and large scale. Nothing, I was very surprised, it is very beautiful. It's user-friendly, works great, and provides us with plenty of solutions. I think it is a very complete platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that this is embedded and the main interface my car uses for the Info-tainment system. It is an industry leader in security, reliability and used by mission critical industry from Government, Defense and transportation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product itself is rock solid. The one thing I dislike is that most people are unaware that QNX is the main interface used in so many cars. Because it's the backbone to Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Most people don't know Apple/Android depend on the security/reliability of QNX for it to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

By having some experience in Eclipse and Linux, you will be able to set up an embedded development platform in your machine quite easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support from Blackberry QNX hasn´t been fast and we had some limitations to tune the make files in Momentics IDE Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
