There is a committee review so if anyone is remote on the committee they can see all of a candidates information. Then when it comes time to enroll all of the tuition and fees are automatically entered in the Tuition Management account. Admission contracts flowing over into TM has created a much smoother process for our finance department and has lessened their workload significantly. Being able to enroll a candidate with all the information already given through the admissions process has made the academic side of things extremely helpful as well. Keeping track of candidates and their progress is easy and has allowed for our admission progress to be helpful for both us and our candidates. It was easy to implement our enrollment forms into the admissions process, and we have seen admissions documents filled out and returned in a timely manner. The sales team is very responsive. The knowledgebase can help you figure out a lot when how to do something is unclear. **What do you dislike about Blackbaud Enrollment Management System?** The #1 reason families did not complete the admissions process was because of the admissions checklist and EMS. Visually, it looks very dated. Families do not know where they are in the enrollment process, and the system does not communicate their progress with them so we do it manually. Events registration/forms include many mandatory hurdles that cannot be removed to make it simpler or nicer looking. We have to make up for the confusion and look through direct communication outside of Blackbaud EMS. It is clunky, there is a surprising amount of manual work for such a big system. Reporting is very inconsistent, everything from the checklist to the forms is built in certain ways that generally make the user experience more difficult, and cannot be customized to work differently or to be simplified. Support is not easy to get at all, usually you are stuck with a chatbot. Maintenance is high, many things would break due to a setting here or there over time and need to be revisited. **What problems is Blackbaud Enrollment Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?** Blackbaud EMS is managing our admissions process. It's one database that all your school constituents become a part of from day 1, when they show interest in your school and inquire about the application process. Once they create an account via the Enrollment Management tools, it is easy to mark them as a candidate, interviewed, reviewed, fees paid, waitlisted, accepted, denied, etc. These same constituents would then feed through to the learning management system in Blackbaud, or you'd be able to export them out as well. It does make it fairly easy to create forms and checklists for all applicants. **What do you dislike about Blackbaud Enrollment Management System?** Because it is part of the Blackbaud K-12 Education suite, it's of course most helpful if you have the other Blackbaud products.
