The BizzDesign offers a very deep set of features for documenting your Enterprise Architecture. From Technological to Risk, Strategic and Capabilities perspective, you can find your view of the EA.
The enhanced experience of navigation and contribution to the EA via browser is very well appreciated in our team.
I suggest to take your implementation path step-by-step, with the help of the customer support, for best results. Since it is so deep, you better have a short implementation cycle, targeting at single aspect at each step.
The integration is quite simple with Service Now, as the import/export features with excel or databases.
Our architecture team use the tool daily for reporting, drawings, and impact analysis. Our service management team are satisfied with the easy navigation of the interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Take your time to experience one layer at a time, since the number of features can be overwhelming at first, while you will appreciate that at your milestones.
Scripting is very powerful but the supporting guides can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful feature of Bizzdesign is that, the whole organization can be accustomed under a single umbrella.
No more explicit mapping for different entites, no more extensive renaming reviews, just a look at Bizzdesign before designing solves it all in the long run.
I used it for the first time, and it was soo good that I got my whole team of 50+ developers to use it, and most of us use it everyday.
It can be easily integrated into any of our systems, and used thereafter !
Really easy, convenient and a lifesaver for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that can be improved is the loading time between different views, and if possible, can we have the different view load in the same page somehow ? so that we don't have to go back to see the previous one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is highly customizable and easy to use. I have also used BiZZdesign for Business Architecture, Customer Journey Mapping, and Business Model Canvas. It took me very less time as this tool is very user-friendly and easy to implement. Customer support is also good and this is now my most frequently used process modelling tool. I think feature for version control can be added. In SAP Signavio, there are features for simulation and automating a few simple rule-based steps. These features can also be added to BiZZdesign Horizzon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Best thing about them is their customer support. Yes, I have to interact with them very frequently but everytime I get the help on time and on demand as well.
For the starters, They have good UI for modelling BPMN level process maps. It's very easy to create the process hierarchy using Archimate, not complicated as we create in ARIS using VACD.
The other diagrams showcaing capabilities, applications, data flow, stakeholders are awesome. In short they have good things to display the entire PPDS. Also, the installation is quite easy at the enterprise level, as now-a-days eveyone hosts on cloud, and it's easy to get the connection directly form your enterprise network. It's a heavy tool, offcourse it has to be due to so many feature they provide, but still I feel the tool is little slow. Even their web-version doesn't work so great. I use i7 machine, but I think I need to either get my system updated in case if I need a faster Bizzdesign.
If they solve this issue, I think it will save me minimum 10 hours in my week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Best thing I like about the tool is it's modelling capabilities and to define the process hierarchy, it's so simple and easy. Archimates defined the upper high-level in the right way followed by BPMN process maps exactly matches our needs. Easy to install, easy to give KT and the best part, the web-version is so light in case if anyone doesn't want to install the desktop version. Also, heard that it integrates with lot of tools, will be exploring soon it's integration with ServiceNow. ecisted to see two-way integration as they promote. Also, they have a good customer support, they reply generally in a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not happy much with the way change request are handled in the tool. There should be mechanism, in case if any stakeholders have any issue with the process maps or the hierarchy, they can raise the dispute and based on it's seriousness, the hierarchy or process should not be visible to others till the issue is resolved. The design tools are top-notch. I worked for a company years ago that was then dubbed a meta-CASE tool. I appreciate the work that has gone into this product. Most of the operations I need to perform are intuitive and remind me of my own efforts "back in the day" to facilitate architecture and design. I also appreciate the documentation and how it funnels my actions in the "right" direction. The scripting language is a big plus. For those looking to automate and provide prescriptive guidance in how to use the product in the organization, this is empowering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The organization has decided to use a single workspace that spans the entire enterprise. This actually makes sense to me, but at this scale there are some features that make this a smooth process lacking. 1) Committing to the repository does not allow for partial commits. If I make an accidental change across mutliple models when thinking "locally", I must rollback everything. This can be time consuming to reproduce my intent. Some of this may be a failure of the organization's use of the security model, but I believe some granularity could be added to the commit, particularly because commits are hierarchical and based on a graph. This would mirror practices by wide-spread development source control tools such as git. 2) Copying elements across models could be more accommodating. When referring to a model element via copy/paste, it would be nice to not have the "paste" paste all the child elements of a composition. That forces the user to do the copy, and then remove the relationships unnecessary to the local context, which, on a canvas, can be tedious. 3) At the scale of this organization, the performance issues can sometimes be detrimental. Bizzdesign Horizzon provides the ability to customize the solution in multiple ways to meet our organization's specific use cases. Unlike many other solutions that paint you into a corner with hardline features, Bizzdesign Horizzon and Enterprise Studio allow us to script enhancements to out-of-the-box features that meet our needs. Every organization is different, and having a solution like Bizzdesign Horizzon allows us to maintain our strategic approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One area where Bizzdesign Horizzon could improve is around the consumable side of the solution. In particular, allowing greater visibility to Horizzon for the organization (as consumers). While it is a great feature to be able to embed views from Horizzon into other platforms such as SharePoint, it is far easier, in my opinion, to present views and dashboards from Horizon directly, but current consumer role licensing for Horizzon can and often is a limiting factor for organizations. Bizzdesign Horizzon has significantly simplified our enterprise architecture endeavors. Its intuitive interface and extensive documentation make it incredibly easy to use, reducing the learning curve. Implementation was a breeze, and the available webinars and training sessions expedited our onboarding process.
Customer support from Bizzdesign is top-notch; they're responsive and always ready to assist with any questions or issues. We frequently use the software for our architecture models and are continually impressed by its performance.
The software is feature-rich, with powerful analytical tools and customization options to meet our industry-specific needs. Integrating Bizzdesign Horizzon into our existing workflow was seamless, enhancing our overall efficiency. I use it daily as it is essential for architects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the software's ease of use is remarkable, there is still a slight learning curve for newcomers. Additionally, the pricing model might not be suitable for smaller organizations. However, the software's return on investment, in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, far outweighs these minor concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Intuitive Creative pannel and model browser
- The training content from the supplier is pretty good and cover most basis

- Once prefered relation are set between object, you can't force "wrong" or undisired relation in your models
- Possibility to have multiple environnement (Production, Training, etc...)
- Possibility to create groups with varying rights down to specific model package Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Only immediately responsive for most action when installed locally rather than on a cloud server
- Impossible to work in team simultaneously on the same view (the only way was to share a mouse via Teams or Teamviewer)
- It can take quite a while to launch in larger corporation with many accounts
