**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

The back end of Bizzabo makes for a very intuitive experience for event planners. With multiple ways to stream your content into the platform, including YouTube, Vimeo, their custom livestream service and more, Bizzabo takes a lot of the stress out of virtual events planning.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

I don't know if we angered an eldritch god or if we're just plain unlucky, but in back to back to back events, Bizzabo's live site platform crashed minutes before our event was supposed to go live, so half of our attendees were unable to attend our event and we were forced to scramble and deploy our backup stream option. If you check their live Bizzabo Status page, you can see it works for weeks on end without interruption, and yet it somehow manages to explode every time we kicked an event live. It's hard to recommend a platform that falls flat on its face inches before you reach the finish line.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're continuing to deploy new features and improve their UI to make their back end experience even better, which makes virtual event planning less of a hassle for those of us who don't live and breathe HTML coding.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

The Bizzabo product offers a comprehensive solution for your full event planning needs - from building the event website to registration and session reviews to checking-in attendees onsite. The support team is also quick to respond and very helpful along with the customer success team which is always willing to think through solutions and provide strategic guidance.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

The platform meets the basic needs of event planning but has a bit of a way to go in terms of dynamic solutions that work for all types of event planners. While the support team is stellar at suggesting workarounds, the product is slow to release product updates that allow events planners to really build processes that meet their unique needs. For example, the platform allows organizers to sort attendee listings on the website by name, but not company name; it also does now allow you to duplicate ticket types with the same parameters but different names or have sponsor logo sizes listed in different sizes based on level of sponsorship. The email marketing system also does not allow for the setup of automated messages other than registration confirmation.

Utilize the bizzaknowledge center and amazing support team for any roadblocks/questions you may have.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Bizzabo for the full suite of our event planning needs. We host the event website, registrations, and networking all through Bizzabo. We use the Bizzabo email platform for some basic attendee communications.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

I was in charge of running the retargeting emails for our event in order to get more people to sign up. The process was very easy and very effective. Setting it up was very easy and smooth.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

I was not involved enough in other aspects of the set up process in order to give good enough feedback here.

The ability to retarget people for the abandon cart emails was a great solution.

Bizzabo's strengths include being user-friendly for attendees, easy sign-in and reliability, reliable streaming services, and great customer service when we had questions or needed help fixing an issue.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

We had a number of different issues with your email service. We found that Bizzabo would not allow scheduled campaigns to go out to many good email addresses due to strict security settings hardcoded in Bizzabo's system. This caused a lot of time on our end and frustration from our client to corect this. 

It was also unfortunate that we encountered some bug issues during some of our virtual events. The question box stopped working, and closed captioning was not able to be viewed.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bizzabo has tried to fix the bugs asap, but was not able to be accomplished until after our events. However, Sari helped us find work-arounds  to accomplish our goals.

The platform itself is a great user experience for the registrant/attendee, but my favourite part of working with Bizzabo is their team and support. Every platform will have issues but the key differentiator from my perspective is a team that takes feedback to heart, continues to innovate their product, and is invested in the success of your project.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

There are definitely still kinks to work out as they continue to grow and acquire new solutions - sometimes this results in a learning curve and can be challenging, but I appreciate the team's commitment to working through those obstacles and delivering resolutions.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great to have a solution that can manage end-to-end event needs from registration pre-event, through to virtual streaming in a hybrid event and onsite check-in for the in-person component. Really minimizes the amount of back-and-forth between technologies.

I love how intuitive and easy the Bizzabo platform is. It is extremely user-friendly and allows my entire team to utilize/update our event sites. Additionally, I like how polished our event sites look compared to other platforms we've used in the past. Using Bizzabo has also helped us streamline our event program, as we are able to host webinars, virtual events, and live events in one place.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

The ability to get some custom reports requires working with the support team to set them up - this is something that would be helpful to do on our own. I also wish we had more insight into the roadmap/new features and when we can expect them.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bizzabo allows us to host virtual, hybrid, and live events all from one platform, which we could not do with other event platforms. It also provides us with more detailed analytics to continue improving our event program.

very easy to use. Building even pages was very easy and looked professional. We have events of varying sizes and they can all be handled by Bizzabo. The linkage with registration and the app is terrific

IT would be helpful if it were more multilingual. It's not very easy to put in multiple languages.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

I love how often Bizzabo is rolling out changes that really are meaningful updates. The main reason we chose Bizzabo is because of their capabilities. We were able to integrate with Marketo to still use our own communications, we've been able to use our own websites and integrate Bizzabo within it, and more. Their livestream updates lately have been another huge win for us to love using Bizzabo.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

It can be a lot to learn. The backside has taken a while to learn (plus with updates it's relearning). But the worst part we've been trying to figure out is the ease of use for attendees. Because our situation is more complicated (using Marketo for registrations instead of the native RSVP tool) it's been more confusing to our attendees about how to access the sessions. We've had to create even clearer communications at the right time because of the confusing elements. If we used just the Bizzabo RSVP/registration tool, I don't think it'd be quite as difficult for attendees though, so it's on us. Plus Bizzabo has pushed some recent updates to help make this piece easier for us and our complicated situation too!

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bizzabo helped us create virtual events during the early phases of covid-19. It was a tool for us to livestream thought leadership while also capturing attendee data. It would've been way too difficult to host a 5-day virtual event over Zoom and the other tool we had used captured only live viewer count, nothing specific. So we knew we wanted a place to host the virtual content (both live, simulive, and on-demand) and make it easy for us to analyze the performance. The other key items we looked for was a tool that integrated with Marketo, speaker engagement, networking capabilities amongst attendees, sponsorship opportunities, and an easy transition to implement the software within a couple of months.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

I love how bright and happy Bizzabo is. I enjoy checking in each day and seeing my little pep talk on the dashboard. Bizzabo was easy to learn and use once I became acquainted with the back end of the site. It was easy to pull and manipulate the data from the site, allowing me to be able to keep my team updated on the stats around our event registration.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

One feature that Bizzabo doesn't have that I wish they did: being able to apply coupon codes after a registration has been submitted. It would be extremely helpful to be able to apply coupon codes and have the option to refund or charge for any price differences. The only way I found to do this through Bizzabo was to cancel and refund the registration and then re-register my attendee.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bizzabo was excellent for us being able to track registration data prior to the event. Having a tech on-site at our meeting to check attendees in who also knew the system was very valuable to us.

Bizzabo offers best-in-class Customer Service support, ramping up as you get closer to an event to ensure that you are upskilled and prepared for your event from a technical point of view, so you do not have to worry!

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

I used Bizzabo for an internal event and the on-site check-in, registration and streaming functionality all worked perfectly fine. The interaction between onsite and virtual participants was limited, but I have not found a solution to solve this yet.

We wanted a solution to help us register our 1500+ employees, seamlessly capturing all the information we needed ahead of the event and easily communicating everything we had prepared for the event.

Bizzabo is an all-in-one solution to help you to organise and manage your online and in-person events easily.

It is difficult to connect both online and in-person attendees via the platform in a way that is beneficial for everyone, but I have not found a platform that can solve for this.

Bizzabo helps me to organise and manage both my in-person and online events in one platform that requires basic computer literacy skills.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

The platform was petty easy to use, overall. Made the registration process simple, once set up.

But the on-site process was very easy. So grateful for them in that regard.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

I did not like that I could not copy tickets and edit them, so I had to make each ticket individually.

I also was upset with how they handled outages and network errors. They did not notify us about these outages, when they directly impacted our business. They didn't give us any details on it until we noticed it ourselves and asked.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Registration and event app are the two biggest. Simplified the process, tech-wise. I hope the virtual/hybrid networking piece improves so we can use that moving forward.

I like the registration page, where I can track attendance and request a data analytics report. I also love the Email Template platform, where I can schedule to send out an email at a preferred time.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

Bee the Bizzabot. After chatting a few times, I was told it would switch from robotic to an actual representative to help with my issues, but that has not been my experience.

Manage event planning process in a single platform. Able to build a professional event page and publish it live to share with the public. I also love that I can track the event performance and share it with my clients.

Need smooth syncing of registrations with marketing automation platform & sources like LinkedIn Event.

Bizzabo is the best!  Their product is top-notch but it’s their service that sets them apart.  Event planning can be hectic and overwhelming at times but our Bizzabo team is always there to support us.  Working with Gigi and Rachel has been amazing - they’re prompt, genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and are just phenomenal at what they do. With all of the unknown things events can throw your way, we can always count on our rockstar Bizzabo team to answer ALL of our questions and support us in the unique ways we need.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

Bizzabo as a platform as well as their team has been wonderful.  Whenever we've experienced technical issues, they've been prompt and thorough in their responses. There isn't anything I dislike about Bizzabo.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

Bizzabo's onsite check-in process was very efficient and smooth. Almost all of our attendees check-in during the first two days and we had extremely short wait times and lines. It was also easy to create and adjust the badge layouts. The system is overall easy to use and allows admins to spin up events quickly.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

We had issues with contact details missing from those attendees we imported. The information would be on the backend but not display on the badges. The agenda filters were also not as robust as we would have liked and limited our options.

The main problem it solved was the lack of branding standardization and reporting across our global events program.

I like really like that there's a community surrounding the Bizzabo users where they can swap different tips and tricks for building a site! It's a great resource for new users and people trying to do something different with their event.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

I find that the sites are not very customizable in general. A lot of clients have particular brand guild lines and ways they want their registration and stream to look and we've found it difficult to achieve this in some cases.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved that we needed an in house platform to use for client's events and registration needs. However, we found it to be more hassle than it was beneficial to the company.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

Bizzabo is easy to use, and intuitive. Lots of different options, even for my company's events which often are a little outside the box. The personal touch is also hugely appreciated and made all the difference, particularly in the early days of familiarising ourselves with the platform and figuring out what will work best for us.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

Nothing to dislike yet! I am hoping one day that there will be a way to stream, whilst also having webcams on for audience members simultaneously. The blending of these two technologies would really take it to the next level for us.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bizzabo is helping us develop our online community, allowing us to broaden our audience beyond just Quebec, or even just Canada, as well as track all those new audience members (both manually and through the Hubspot integration). 

Beforehand, we struggled with our digital events appearing at arms-length from the company, but now Bizzabo has solved this issue by offering the possibility to embed events into our website, and for people to use their same profile to attend our events again and again.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

Bizzabo is very intuitive, easy to use, and easy to make changes in. I mainly used it for developing the conference agenda and updating speaker profiles. I found this experience to be excellent.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

I think the log-in when the event began was hard to find - it was hidden on the agenda page. I wish there was a "welcome to the conference - enter now" page. I found it difficult to add pre-recorded content since it had to be scheduled. I wish there was a way to have an "on-demand" sessions tab (for pre-recorded content) that would only be accessible to ticket-holders. I also wish there was a way to have multiple agenda pages.. one for virtual attendees and one for in-person. Being limited to one page made the tag filters super important, and some people still missed the filter. I also wish it was possible to add more information about a speaker on their page; we only had the option to show their affilitation.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us host our annual Gatherings - for those joining us online and in-person. Gatherings are one of the main benefits we offer our members.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

On the backend, things run pretty seamlessly. The platform is user-friendly and intuitive. We had a great customer success rep who made sure we had everything we needed to make the event a success and loved that he was able to troubleshoot on-site with us.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

I think the user experience is lacking. Our attendees were frustrated about how the agenda shows up on mobile + web. I wish there was a way to make multiple pages available to paid attendees instead of just the agenda, and it would be great if it was compatible with a vaccine verifier app (I know there are limitations with HIPPA / how the information is stored). Not great for hosting content post-event.

Bizzabo makes having multiple ticket types and registration very easy. I wasn't involved in choosing the platform / the financial aspects so cannot speak to those.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

Bizzabo is a user-friendly platform, especially if you have experience with other event management systems. The level of customization we achieve with our event websites is HUGE and a big differentiator for Bizzabo in our eyes—we are able to have HTML and CSS access to achieve the branding, layout, and look and feel exactly how we want it. Our CSM and partnership after working with Bizzabo for several years is another big advantage (shoutout Adele!), as they are extremely knowledgeable about the platform and responsive to requests or questions with a quick willingness to help. Although they do not have a support line, they have an extensive knowledge center and are instituting a chatbot to help fill this gap.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

There are definitely some cobwebs in the system, as is expected when a company pivots from being an in-person event management system to now offering virtual and hybrid systems. The good news is the Bizzabo team is always willing to help to find useful workarounds to achieve your goals, and are constantly adding software enhancements to their roadmap based on customer feedback. A direct support line to call would also be extremely useful (mentioned above), and something they may have to consider as they continue to grow as a company.

**Recommendations to others considering Bizzabo:**

Make sure you have enough lead time for your event to get the team trained on the system, as there are a ton of features. Also, make sure Bizzabo is the best fit for your use case -  we've seen that they shine the brightest with complex, larger-scale events.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When virtual events were new, many companies were cobbling together multiple platforms to create the desired experience. With Bizzabo, you no longer have to do that, as they are an all-in-one platform that can handle your events program. As a caveat, if there is a 3rd party software that needs to be plugged in to up-level the experience, Bizzabo has a ton of partners to fill any gaps in their offering and an open API.

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

You want a platform that's easy to navigate, quick to build with, and has a robust registration engine and post-show analytics? Bizzabo has all of that.  You need multiple streams going on at the same time and you've exhausted the limit on Vimeo streams? Use Bizzabo Stream! You want whiteboarding, audience interaction and a moderated Q&A to filter out all those negative questions and comments, giving your attendees a fun and friendly experience?  Bizzabo Interact has that.  Small townhalls, huge events? Bizzabo has you covered from top to bottom! Don't bother with tedious backend coding.  Everything you need is right there on the platform and when you need something, chances are the Reseach and Development team at Bizzabo can make it happen, or at least point out something you might have missed. 5 Stars!

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

Whatever I dislike about Bizzabo, they will most likely fix.  We usually have clients that want an open chat and for a while, Bizzabo only had a Q&A portal.  Now they have chat, reactions, Q&A and probably a few others that have been brought on while I'm typing this because they are constantly improving their product to fit our needs.  I'm not big on the color scheme of their logo, but that's just aesthetics.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run a lot of events that require CE credits.  These CE accreditation services have very strict guidelines that include the "duration of event watched by an attendee."  We were unable to fill this need with our custom-built event pages, but Bizzabo does all that analytical work automatically on the back end.  This way we can generate that data for our clients immediately so that our attendees receive the credit right away.

We also do a lot of hybrid events and Bizzabo is not only able to provide a fantastic experience virtually, but they can provide us with on-site check-in.  

Before we switched to Bizzabo, we were using static, custom-built pages that needed to be programmed from scratch or by copy and pasting.  With Bizzabo, I can program a unique, fully-responsive site in half the time.  Bizzabo is a great time-saver!

**What do you like best about Bizzabo?**

I like how easy it is to setup and launch an event. Creating ticket types and event websites are super easy. I also really like the embed widgets for registration and agenda since we use mostly our own Wordpress page for our event websites.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

It doesn't allow you to bulk upload registrations and swapping ticket types is also a manual process which takes a lot of time. I wish they had an embed widget for sponsors. I also wish they had a customer support phone number, it's still a newish platform and it has system errors pretty frequently and it can be hard to hear back from support quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering Bizzabo:**

Really take advantage of the sandbox when you at evaluating the software to make sure it meets all your reuw requirements. I found out after we signed that the platform had some frustrating and manual quirks.

We use Wordpress for our event websites and the embed widgets are really easy to add to our page which is a huge time saver for us. I like that i can update a ticket type in bizzabo and it's automatically updating on our website because of the widget.

Like many other platforms, it doesn't solve all the needs.  Bizzabo is lacking in the complete registration setup.  They also have a large list of features that can be daunting if you don't need or use them all.

Bizzabo as a platform was great and very user friendly. The only item i would say i'd like to change was the time delay associated with the poll questions that came up at the end of our webinar. There was a lot of drop-off because it took too long to move on from each question.

Bizzabo is easy to use and has helped us convert our on-site events to hybrid events. The integration with our CRM went pretty smoothly so that we could transfer the information and data into the respective tool without any problems. And with the help of the analysis tool, clear tracking and individual follow-up of the participants can be achieved.

Easy to use (on the front and back end), drag and drop widgets make design easy, nice-looking app, on-site check-in was great, the Bizzabo project managers were attentive and helpful

Template to upload agenda was not easy to use, inability to add the same survey to multiple sessions, no feature to provide CEUs, some glitches with the app, no easy way to do session sign-ins without purchasing extra equipment, and even with that, people can't sign themselves in to sessions.

It is very easy to connect to our CSM when we need any help or tech support. There is always someone/ tech person helping us in the back end during our meetings. Our Customer Success Team Lead helped us in every step from answering our questions to helping us set up meetings.

There is no dial- in by phone option available which sometimes limits people from attending the meetings.

Connect with your CSM and don't hesitate to ask questions and get support from the team. Bizzabo is a great platform to use for virtual or in-site events.

Since the pandemic hit, we were looking for virtual solution to organize our conference meetings. Bizzabo was a great solution as we got everything from having a website page with registration to having concurrent meetings. Bizzabo has a lot of resources to help you get started, Their community group site is a great place to get solutions for some trickery builds like custom coding for the website builder.

Their website builder doesn't have a lot of flexibility unless you are trained in CSS coding, otherwise, you are left to use rather clunky templated module blocks.

Bizzabo provides a decent amount of branding and customization on the platform. Live sessions can be streamed from many different streaming sources. We use Vimeo, which integrates very well with the video play and the live chat.

Although there is a decent amount of customization, it can be limited with deeper customization. Outside of the parameters that are easily accessible on the back end, pages like the agenda and sponsor pages, can't be altered significantly.

If you're organizing a convention, this is a great tool to have. It assists you in keeping track of what is going on at such a large gathering, as well as who is who.
I like how simple the program is to use. It elevates marketing in the digital age to a whole new level. I like how you can give other people access to the platform and allow them to make changes.

I dislike how difficult it is to set up without a lot of instructions. I was initially perplexed, but after I began tinkering with systems, everything fell into place. Platform data sets might also be one-size-fits-all at times.

They provide insights to help people make relevant real-time decisions. Also, during events, touchless contact sharing transfers data directly to your phone, allowing you to tailor who and when you'd like to touch base with someone. This level of integration is simply remarkable.

A platform includes live streaming, website and mailing The product keeps improving and has become more user-friendly than ever. The responsive staff and sales help a lot when facing technical issues.

Sometimes the platform is not stable and technical issues happened. 
The time zone problem - most of the staff are in the US, and we are in the APAC region.

We have over 30 events we host year-round and being able to access all events from one easy to use/set-up platform is such a huge time saver for me and my company.

**What do you dislike about Bizzabo?**

Overall Bizzabo is great - there are a few minor things that I wish we able to be tailored but understanding that they are a large company and other people  may not have the same issue. For example being able to re-align the rooms on the agenda to make the order easier for on-site guests to view what sessions are taking place (instead of the sessions being arranged alphabetically).

**Recommendations to others considering Bizzabo:**

I highly recommend using Bizzabo because of it's "all-in-one" aspect. You are able to create your event website, sell tickets, market your event, create an agenda, sell sponsorships and utilize analytics all in one area. We have tried other products but nothing has compared to the ease of use - and not to mention the support staff is outstanding.

**What problems is Bizzabo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving efficency problems with Bizzabo. Being able to create, manage, sell and duplicate events quickly and efficiently is huge for us. Since they've started making their emailing easier that has also been a huge help with communicating with attendees instead of downloading the "attendee list" then uploading into another e-mailing platform to send out an attendee reminder. We also are solving the issues with communication because we are able to easily communicate attendees numbers, revenue and sponsorship dollars to our outside planning committees by simply looking at the main dashboard instead of having to run an individual report for each line item.
