## About Bitwarden
Bitwarden is an open source password manager for individuals, teams, and enterprise organizations. Ranked first in Enterprise User Satisfaction on the G2 Enterprise Grid for eleven consecutive quarters, Bitwarden stores, generates, autofills, and shares credentials and passkeys using end-to-end AES-256 bit encryption. Bitwarden is a zero-knowledge encryption solution, meaning only the user can access vault data. The Bitwarden source code is publicly available on GitHub and undergoes regular third-party security audits, covering penetration testing, cryptographic analysis, and source code review. Bitwarden is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and Data Privacy Framework (DPF) compliant. Manage passwords and passkeys - Generate and store strong, unique passwords and passkeys, saved securely across unlimited devices. - Access credentials from anywhere, on any device - Bitwarden offers multiple client options including desktop, mobile, browser, web, and command-line interface (CLI). - Autofill makes it fast and secure to seamlessly log in to websites and apps across devices. Monitor and reduce credential risk - Real-time vault health alerts surface weak, reused, or exposed passwords - Bitwarden Access Intelligence identifies shadow IT and at-risk credentials across an organization, with guided remediation workflows at scale. - Turn on multifactor authentication (MFA) for vault login using a time-based one-time password (TOTP) app or security key. The standalone Bitwarden Authenticator app also generates TOTP codes for any account or service that supports authenticator-based two-factor authentication (2FA). - Exportable event logs provide transparency into user activity around sensitive data within an organization vault. Enterprise integrations and deployment - Bitwarden deploys in both cloud-based and on-premises environments, including self-hosted options for full data sovereignty. - Directory Connector and System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) integration streamline user and group onboarding with automatic account provisioning and deprovisioning across Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace, and LDAP-based directories. - Bitwarden connects to existing tech stacks with single sign-on (SSO), APIs, and CLI automations, and feeds event logs directly into security operations platforms including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid7, and Elastic. Share encrypted information at scale - Use organization collections to share credentials securely. - Vault items are owned by the organization, not individual employees, enabling full credential lifecycle management. - Transmit encrypted information, text, and attachments to anyone via a secure, randomly generated link through Bitwarden Send.

## Bitwarden Reviews
  ### 1. Quite useful to keep all of your passwords in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

It is filling out the form fields and storing the login credentials without my input. The sharing feature is great for the team as well because I can provide them with access without actually providing them with the credentials to mess things up. Also, the syncing is working fine between my phone and laptop without prompting me to pay money every five minutes. It works.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The interface was ugly and looked like something from 10 years ago but it was recently updated but with a lot of bugs.

I feel the auto fill feature sometimes misses the field on odd websites and I have to click the fill-in button myself.

The mobile app seems clunky compared to the desktop version.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stops everyone from using "password123" for everything.

Removes sticky notes from monitors which is good security practices I guess.

Allows our team to share account information without sending passwords via text and keeps all our account information safe from hackers.

  ### 2. Bitwarden: secure open source manager, seamless synchronization, and convenient autofill

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sullivan O. | Responsable de magasin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

Bitwarden is an open-source password manager that offers many advantages: it allows you to store your credentials securely through encryption, synchronize your data across multiple devices, generate strong passwords, and enjoy very convenient autofill. It also offers secure sharing of access, while providing true code transparency thanks to open source. Ultimately, it improves both digital security and daily user comfort.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The interface may seem less intuitive than some competitors, certain advanced features (such as enhanced authentication or tools for families/businesses) are limited to the paid plan, and autofill may sometimes require adjustments depending on the sites or browsers. Like any password manager, it also centralizes access to your credentials, so securing your master password is essential.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the difficulty of memorizing many complex passwords, the risky reuse of the same password on multiple sites, insecure storage (notes, browser, paper), and managing access on multiple devices. It also helps reduce the risks of hacking related to weak or compromised passwords, while simplifying the login to online services.

  ### 3. Incredible Security, Smooth Synchronization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliwer S. | Développeur Full Stack, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I love that Bitwarden is a comprehensive, real-time synchronized, and secure tool. It allows me to store my passwords in one place and I can easily retrieve them on my Mac, phone, or desktop PC. I also appreciate being able to share my passwords with others if needed, which is super convenient in a business setting. The initial setup was simple, I just downloaded, created my account, and it was done.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

What I find a bit annoying to do on a desktop PC is having to retype the master password to unlock my vault. I would have preferred to have an access key or use fingerprint integration with Bitwarden. On Mac as well, I have to store my password in the Mac password app and it's complicated to manage because my password is very strong and complicated to write. I would have preferred biometrics to improve the login process.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden allows me to have secure and long passwords without remembering them, slightly improves my security, and prevents using the same password twice. It is comprehensive, synchronized, secure, and I can easily share my passwords across multiple devices.

  ### 4. Powerful Open Source Password Manager with Excellent Cost-Benefit

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** gabriel b. | Especialista em TI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden as my main password manager because of its ability to centralize and securely protect all my access credentials, allowing me to generate strong and unique passwords for each service. I like that it offers an extremely comprehensive free version, without limiting the number of synchronized devices. The interface is intuitive and the autofill is very smooth both in the browser and in mobile apps, which brings a lot of convenience. It solves the problem of having to memorize dozens of passwords, ensuring that I have my information at hand in a secure and organized manner. The fact that it is open source and the fast synchronization between devices are also great advantages.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Although it is excellent, the user interface could be more visually polished and modern, as it sometimes seems a bit dated compared to other competitors. Additionally, the data import process and the initial setup of autofill in some mobile applications could be more streamlined and intuitive to enhance the experience for new users.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to centralize and protect my credentials, generating strong passwords and eliminating the need to memorize multiple passwords. It quickly syncs between my devices and ensures secure access to important data.

  ### 6. Intuitive and Reliable but Needs Enhanced Security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron G. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like Bitwarden because it's simple and intuitive. It's always reliable, and I don't have issues with logging in. The user interface is very clean and allows me to do everything I need in a password manager. The initial setup of Bitwarden was very easy, seamless, and straightforward, just like any other password manager.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

There have been occasional times where my data has been leaked, which I'm not entirely sure is Bitwarden's fault. But it can be a bit of a nightmare to log in quickly, change details, and go back through and change all of the details stored on Bitwarden. Hopefully, they can improve the security features, as that has been an issue I've had in the past.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden makes it easy to keep all my passwords in one place without remembering them all. It's simple, intuitive, always reliable, and the clean interface lets me do everything I need.

  ### 7. Bitwarden:The vaccine for cyber threats

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phyllis M. | Video Editing and Production Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

Since our initial deployment, Bitwarden has continued to improve in ways that reinforce our confidence in the platform. One major improvement is the continued refinement of passkeys and passwordless authentication, which has reduced reliance on traditional passwords while improving both our security and convenience. The autofill experience across browsers and mobile devices has also become more intuitive and faster making our daily workflows even more smoother. We particularly appreciate revamped password health and security reports, which provide clearer visibility into reused, weak and exposed credentials and guide towards better security. Bitwarden's expanding ecosystem, including its dedicated authenticator app and secret management capabilities has made it more than just a password manager but a broader identity and access security too for us. Bitwarden also shows promising direction in how it has incorporated Intelligent automation into security monitoring . It is increasingly using smart analysis to flag compromised credentials, highlight risk patterns and recommend corrective actions. This security centric approach aligns so well with our expectations as it prioritizes data ownership while helping us make better security decisions. Regular updates, UI refining and feature rollouts has enables us to consistently respond to our changing cyber security landscape.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The centralized vault model remains to be my greatest concern as it represents a single high value target if our master credentials are compromised . Additionally native safeguards e.g granular vault segmentation, clearer disaster recovery workflows or optional decentralized vault structure could further strengthen our confidence for managing critical infrastructure. Lastly, while the interface has improved more guided in app education could help us to easily adopt the advanced features.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have fully addressed the challenge of generating and remembering distinct and robust passwords for all our accounts. Bitwarden stores and autofills our passwords. It keeps our passwords secure in an encrypted vault and also safeguard sensitive information. We have locked private data, music and financial information behind passwords eliminating potential risks.
We are able to securely access music streaming platforms

  ### 8. Effortless Password Management with Bitwarden

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arun Vasudev N. | Founder, Blogger, Trainer (Content Writing, Video Production, UI, UX Design, SEO), , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden to store my passwords and debit card info because I have accounts on a lot of websites. For me, Bitwarden is essential for managing logins for almost 300 sites quickly and easily. I like that it uses a very secure, encrypted system, which matters to me because it helps reduce the risk of issues like password leaks. It’s also really easy to use and open source, so I worry less about security concerns overall. I also like its Password Generator feature—you can create bulletproof passwords with this generator in seconds.

Compared to other password managers, Bitwarden offers more features even with a free account. Getting started is straightforward: you create an account, install the Google Chrome extension, and then you can access it from any computer. I can also use Bitwarden across different devices, including computers and mobile phones, through its apps and extensions. Overall, I rarely run into problems with Bitwarden, and I genuinely appreciate the features it provides.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Sometimes on particular websites like banking systems, Bitwarden doesn't work, possibly due to restrictions. Also, Bitwarden does not have any VPN. If it had a VPN, it would be a really good thing.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to manage around 300 website logins, which I can't handle easily otherwise. It provides very secure storage, especially for passwords and sometimes debit card info.

  ### 9. Flexible and Cost-Effective Password Manager with Cloud and Local Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AJ W. | Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden for password management, storage of confidential data, and sharing credentials. I like the use of very strong passwords because I don't need to remember them, and they're available on any device very quickly. I appreciate the ability to run Bitwarden both locally and in the Cloud. Having it in the Cloud means I don't have to open a firewall port on my home network or have a server running 24/7, and the local instance is useful when I'm in the office or working offline. It's also excellent value for money and, unlike some competitors, runs for good and the benefit of its users. The initial setup for the Cloud version was very simple, and I was up and running in minutes. Additionally, I have Bitwarden integrated in Chrome.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Occasionally it's a little clunky to use on Android, but that's mainly an issue with how Android handles Password Managers. One area is when signing up for a new account/service - it sometimes doesn't capture both the username and password which can lead to the need for password resets for services used infrequently.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden allows me to use very strong passwords without needing to remember them, and they're accessible on any device quickly. It manages passwords, stores confidential data, and shares credentials effectively, working both locally and in the Cloud.

  ### 10. Simple, Secure, and Efficient Password Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

What I like most about Bitwarden is the combination of security with the ease of using its features. The interface is clear and very intuitive.
In Bitwarden I can, in addition to storing my passwords, organize and access them across different devices without any confusion.
I am able to save time with the perfect synchronization between the computer and the cellphone. I can save passwords on my cellphone and access them at the same time on my computer. It has helped me a lot, as I can access them from anywhere and at any time.
I also appreciate the built-in password generator, which helps me create strong passwords for each account without having to think about it. This has significantly increased my security.
In addition, the autofill feature works perfectly and reduces the time spent logging into platforms daily.
The integration with browsers and extensions works very well, making it easy to use Bitwarden on different platforms without problems.
The integration process is simple and intuitive, allowing me to start using the tool quickly, without needing much guidance or help.
Although Bitwarden focuses more on security, its intelligent features, such as password generation, make the experience more efficient and practical.
Getting started with Bitwarden was very simple and straightforward, and the available support and documentation are helpful if needed. Overall, Bitwarden offers an excellent cost-benefit, especially considering that many essential features are available for free. It is reliable, efficient, and secure.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

One aspect that could be improved in Bitwarden is its interface, which seems a bit outdated. A more modern user interface (UI) would improve the overall user experience.
In terms of integrations, browser extensions work very well.
Performance is good, but there are occasional delays in autofill or synchronization.
Regarding pricing, while Bitwarden offers great value for money, some advanced features are only available in the paid version, which may be a limitation for users seeking a more complete free solution.
The onboarding process is simple, but could include more tips to help new users better understand all the available features. Additionally, support is helpful.
Finally, Bitwarden doesn't focus much on AI or advanced intelligence features, which could be an area for improvement, especially for users seeking more automation.
Overall, these are minor points, and Bitwarden remains a reliable and secure tool.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Bitwarden, I struggled to manage multiple passwords and often reused the same ones or needed to reset them.
With Bitwarden, I can now securely store all my passwords in one place and easily access them on different devices whenever I want. This helps me be more organized and secure.
The autofill feature has greatly improved my daily life, as I no longer need to manually enter my credentials every time I log into a platform.
In addition, the password generator has helped me use stronger and unique passwords for each account, which has greatly improved my security.

  ### 11. A password manager is necessary right now, and Bitwarden is the best option.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Romio J. | Freelance Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

The only thing I advise people about is using a password manager and the importance of 2 factor authentication. Even non technical people have started using it because of how much easier life becomes after this. All you have to remember is just one password. Since it supports passkeys, there is no need to depend on any other platforms at all. Even if you do not want to type the master password every time, there is a PIN option too, but be careful not to forget the master password after long term use of the PIN.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Yes, just one thing. It would have been nice if there were Proton Drive integration for easy data backup and restore.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and remembering different passwords is a challenging part of the digital era. Thanks to Bitwarden, I only need to remember a master password now. Also, the extra security with 2FA! When I need the data, I can easily export it as well. What more could you ask for to simplify the process of enjoying digital life?

  ### 12. Password managers are essential for internet security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith T. | Small Business Owner, Computer Networking, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden to keep track of my servers' passwords in my business and to keep our main server secure. It is easy to use and supports 2FA (TOTP) and passwordless logins. The best thing is that Bitwarden is very well-maintained, unlike many others that I have tried. This is to say that many password managers work well for a short period of time, but as browsers are updated, they stop working, or their functionality is degraded. The developers of BW keep Bitwarden updated. One feature I love is the fact that I can create a unique email address for each login that I create.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I wish the UI was more user-definable, like just small details I might tweak. It should be easier to integrate with Firefox Relay and other services.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It adds much-needed extra security to the web and all of the servers that I manage in my business. It also keeps my online accounts safe.

  ### 13. Fast, Friendly Support That Goes the Extra Mile

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad C. | President / CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I'm always impressed when a large company still offers personalized customer support. Their support team is always fast and friendly. We recently had an issue where we hadn't removed some former employees from our account before our annual renewal. They quickly walked us through cleaning up the account and refunded the balance.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Coming from Lastpass, it took me a bit to get used to the subtle differences in UI workflow. Not sure if it's user error but I sometimes have to manually "sync" to my shared passwords sync across our org.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

being a small software and marketing agency, we need need an easy and secure way to share passwords across our organization. Bitwarden fits the bill.

  ### 14. Secure, Easy Password Management with Minor Glitches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khye Jac L. | Casual Academic, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like that Bitwarden keeps things secure, ensuring that even if one of my passwords gets breached, most of my accounts remain safe. It really helps because I don't have to memorize every password. I can just easily generate passwords and use them to fill out forms when logging in. This saves me a lot of stress and lets me focus on my actual tasks, instead of worrying about remembering passwords. Additionally, the initial setup is very simple.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I think sometimes the plugin doesn't work when I'm trying to generate any password. It generates it, but doesn't save it until, like, five seconds later. And often by then, I would've created my own, like, manual input password. Is bad.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden solves the hassle of memorizing passwords by generating and filling them easily. It keeps my accounts secure, so if one password is breached, others remain safe, letting me focus on my tasks without stress.

  ### 15. Bitwarden: Reliable Security with Cross-Platform Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Analista de desenvolvimento de Sistemas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like Bitwarden because it is open source and offers cross-platform synchronization, which is quite useful for me. The UX is very clean and functional, which makes it easy to use. I also value the transparency and the possibility of self-hosting, especially because I work in development. This gives me control and confidence over where my data is. Additionally, it optimizes my time when dealing with passwords by centralizing them in one place and allowing use on various devices.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The only point that bothers me is that sometimes the autofill doesn't work on mobile devices. Often it's necessary to access the app and copy the password.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden as a security hub for my projects, managing access and improving my security with two-factor authentication. It optimizes my time with passwords, reducing security risk and works on multiple devices.

  ### 16. Versatile Password Manager with Self-Hosting and Strong API

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph A. | Lead Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden for storing my passwords and syncing them between devices, and even its API in my home lab. Bitwarden solves the issue of not having a password manager deeply integrated into my system and browser. I like most that it has a self-hosted option. It has allowed me peace of mind knowing that random users cannot get into my vault if there is a vendor security breach. The nicely documented API is also great for creating tools like Vaultwarden. It allows me to integrate it with a side project, a Python task runner, which is important for storing its git credentials that clone private repos. The initial setup was very easy as I installed a Helm chart of Vaultwarden and the Bitwarden UI and CLI.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The app UI is slightly clunky. It doesn't use native macOS controls. It could be made to use more native macOS controls like buttons and views. It just feels out of place on a Mac.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden for storing passwords and syncing them between devices. It solves the issue of not having a password manager integrated into my system. The self-hosted option provides security peace of mind. The well-documented API helps me integrate it into projects like a Python task runner.

  ### 17. Secure and User-Friendly, Needs Autofill Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mtz G. | Estagiário de engenharia de software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden to securely store my credentials and passwords, which helps me manage all my login information in one place. I like its strong security and ease of use, allowing me to store and generate hard passwords while accessing them on multiple devices to avoid being hacked. The initial setup was very easy, just installing the Chrome extension and the mobile app, and importing my passwords worked well too.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I think the user interface can be better and the autofill feature because it doesn't always work perfectly on certain websites, especially on my phone. It often says there are no saved passwords, even though there are.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to securely store my credentials and passwords, manage all my login information in one place, and generate strong passwords. It increases security and ease of use across multiple devices.

  ### 18. Intuitive UI, Seamless Bitwarden Integration, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek H. | Sales Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I was thrilled to see multiple pricing models (teams and enterprise as well as a custom option). The demo showed us exactly what this tool could do and was well worth the time. The web UI is intuitive and required no real training to maneuver. Integration wise we were able to make use tof the API and plug Bitwarden into our workflow seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

We honestly don’t have any complaints or negatives. Between the ease of use, the breadth of options, and the very responsive customer service team, we’ve had no issues with deployment, day-to-day use, or ongoing maintenance.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn’t have any password management in place before Bitwarden, and we’d reached a point where that simply wasn’t realistic anymore. Bitwarden was the knight in shining armor, giving us exactly what we needed, with performance that matches anything else we’ve seen—at a lower price.

  ### 19. Effortless Password Management with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I appreciate Bitwarden for its cloud storage that follows me across devices, simplifying device migrations without needing users to understand complex technical details. The simple user interface is also a big plus, as it helps keep training costs low and boosts user adoption. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, thanks to Bitwarden's onboarding support and straightforward documentation.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

If Bitwarden would add functionality for notifications of collection updates, or items in collections, that would improve the user experience and simplify some of the use cases we have for integrating Bitwarden into business processes. The only other thing that comes to mind would be making the vault sync function more obvious in the browser extension. It is kind of buried in the Settings menus now, and non-technical users have trouble finding it on their own.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden provides an enterprise-wide password management solution, eliminating old paper-based security processes. It helps create secure passwords, simplifies device migrations, and has a cloud storage feature for seamless access across devices. The user-friendly interface minimizes training costs and improves adoption.

What I like most about Bitwarden is how simple and reliable it is, as it keeps everything secure while making logins quick and effortless. The simplicity of Bitwarden makes it easy to use, and its reliability ensures my data is always secure and accessible. The setup was quick and simple.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

One bad thing about Bitwarden is that the interface can feel a bit basic, and autofill doesn't always work perfectly on some sites. Bitwarden could improve with a more modern interface and more consistent autofill across sites and apps.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to store and generate secure passwords, avoiding forgetting or using weak ones, and saving time with autofill.

  ### 21. Effortlessly Secure and Accessible Password Management

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden for accessing teams and services and love its cross-platform usability, allowing me to access my passwords from anywhere with a simple click. The extension works amazingly, making my virtual office entry seamless. I really appreciate the passkeys feature for being passwordless, especially on a MacBook where it's a fingertip away. It's fantastic that Bitwarden consolidates various essentials in one place, like passkeys, passwords, and 2FA. The initial setup of Bitwarden was super easy, like 1 2 3, and I find it perfect for both work and personal use. I highly recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I wish there was better integration with the Keychain on Mac, making it easier to use on Safari or my iPhone. Currently, the password apps available on macOS have everything I need Bitwarden to have. I want to easily access any app and see the password, or the 2FA on the keyboard right away. With just one click, I should be logged in. If Bitwarden offers that, it would be the most complete app I've ever used.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden for easy access to all my passwords and shared company passwords. It's cross-platform, letting me login with a click, and centralized, holding passkeys, 2FA, and passwords in one place.

  ### 22. Effortless Password Management with Bitwarden

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel M. | Analista de dados, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I find Bitwarden to be a very good application, especially with the Chrome extension. It's very easy to save passwords, and it provides simple access across every device. It helps manage the specific history of passwords and sharing within our team, which is very important because we need access to specific accounts. When we change a password, everyone who has access automatically gets the update, which is great. The initial setup was also easy because there are perfect tutorials for the platform.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I don't have any problems. I had a bit of a challenge at the beginning understanding how the video was working, but it was easy to learn.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden for managing password history and sharing within my team. It ensures password changes are updated for all with access, making team collaboration easier.

  ### 23. Excellent Corporate Password Manager with great value for money

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I have been using Bitwarden for over 4 years for free, and more recently I adopted it for my company's employees as the enterprise license. Bitwarden has all the main features of a corporate password vault, allowing you to create vaults for sectors that store shared credentials such as social networks or infrastructure equipment. It allows you to create corporate policies, has the Send feature to securely send sensitive data, password health reports, an excellent interface and a browser extension. I also use the app for Android and iOS and it is excellent and transparent for the user. Access via SSO for companies makes it much easier for users and allows for better governance and security.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The feature that allows the Owner profile access to all vaults. I understand that this feature should be defined only with the scope of the sector that uses it, for example, the marketing manager being the owner only of marketing, IT only of IT and so on.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secure storage of credentials, secure sharing of sensitive data, centralized management of corporate credentials for critical sectors such as finance, marketing, HR, legal and IT. It also has an affordable price.

  ### 24. Practicality and Security with Bitwarden

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** José G. | Estagiário de TI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden to securely store my passwords, generate strong passwords, and easily access my logins. What I like most about Bitwarden is the convenience of being able to store passwords in a safe place and use them on multiple devices, relying on auto-fill to log into accounts. This makes my routine safer and simpler. Additionally, the registration and installation process was smooth, and I quickly managed to create my vault and save passwords.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

One area for improvement would be to make the autofill more compatible, as some sites I use are not recognized. It should also be simpler for beginner users.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to securely store passwords, generate strong passwords, and easily access logins. It solves the problem of forgetting passwords and prevents the use of the same password. Bitwarden makes my routine safer and simpler.

  ### 25. Easy Access, great encryption, secure & controlled sharing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Utsav A. | Electrical Engineer, Utilities, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

It’s easy to access my saved passwords from both the mobile app and the browser extension. Requires to remember only 1 master password. It has been free to use for the last 5 years and the data encryption has never been compromised.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The autofill feature in the mobile app sometimes doesn’t work. Another major issue is that when I update a password, Bitwarden occasionally saves the old password instead, overwriting the new one.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easier to save hundreds of passwords, especially banking/finance related sensitive passwords that require to be changed every 3 months. Also, eliminating weak or re-used passwords by generating strong alpha-numeric passwords for individual sites. Allowing secure vault sharing with authorised people is a major problem solver to use in organizations without having to share them publicly over messaging apps.

  ### 26. Solid, Secure Free Password Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno Augusto R. | Técnico de suporte em campo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

Is a really solid password manager, especially for a free option. It’s secure, easy to use, and works well across devices. The interface is simple, though a bit basic, and autofill can be hit or miss sometimes. Overall, it’s reliable and definitely worth using.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The interface feels a bit too basic and not very modern
Autofill sometimes fails or isn’t as smooth as expected
Setup can be a little confusing for beginners
Some advanced features are only in the paid version
It doesn’t feel as polished as some competitors like 1Password

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden helped me solve the problem of managing multiple passwords. Before, I used to forget passwords or reuse the same one everywhere, which isn’t safe. With Bitwarden, I can store everything securely and generate strong passwords, so I don’t have to worry about remembering them or getting hacked as easily.

  ### 27. Secure, Transparent, but Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali D. | AI Agent Builder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like Bitwarden's simple UI, which lets me add or edit passwords quickly without wasting time. Its strong security and the fact that it works across all my devices is awesome. Being open source makes it trustworthy, as anyone can inspect the code, so security experts can review it, and issues get caught faster by a global community. I appreciate the transparency, unlike some black-box services. Also, the free plan is actually powerful, and switching to Bitwarden has resulted in fewer security issues and better value compared to what we used before.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

UI could be more modernized, autofills are not always perfect, sync can feel a bit slow sometimes, and sharing features are basic and could be improved.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to securely store passwords, manage them efficiently, generate strong passwords, and autofill login forms, saving time and reducing the need to memorize multiple passwords.

  ### 28. Secure Password Sharing with Convenient Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jad S. | Educator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like that Bitwarden works well and doesn't get in the way. I appreciate having 2FA and passkeys baked in, which provide convenience and swift logins (for most threat vectors at any rate; for important things, use a second device of course). I find the sharing feature particularly valuable because it allows me to share a work login with coworkers, optionally without revealing the password. It also means I can share credentials with others, even for services that don't support multiple users. Using Bitwarden secrets is really convenient too, as it helps me avoid re-entering the same API keys across different services: a single API key loads all the necessary environment variables (and no more).

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The pricing for secrets for teams could be a little nicer, it's a bit steep for us. I wish I could unlock Bitwarden Firefox using fingerprints on Linux.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to store passwords and API keys securely, share passwords safely with my team and contractors, and run programs without exposing keys. I appreciate its sharing feature, 2FA, and passkeys for easy logins and not revealing passwords.

  ### 29. Secure and Feature-Rich, but the UI and Autofill Can Feel Clunky

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiresh B. | Student AI researcher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like that Bitwarden is open-source, cross‑platform, and makes it simple to manage all my passwords securely across devices. The end‑to‑end encryption and zero‑knowledge design give me confidence that only I can access my data, while features like autofill, password generation, and secure sharing make it easy to use every day.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I dislike that Bitwarden can feel clunky to use at times, especially compared to sleeker password managers. The interface is not very intuitive in places, form‑filling can be unreliable, and organizing items (like sorting or bulk‑editing) still feels more limited than it should be.

On top of that, some users report occasional performance issues or long loading times in browser extensions, which makes day‑to‑day use a bit frustrating when you just want your passwords quickly. I also wish customer support and recovery options (especially around two‑factor and account lockouts) were a bit more user‑friendly, because losing access can be very hard to resolve.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden is solving the problem of weak, reused, and hard‑to‑remember passwords by giving me one secure vault where every account has a unique, strong password that I don’t have to memorize. It also solves the hassle of logging into services on different devices, since it syncs my vault everywhere and autofills credentials, so I can move between laptop and phone without breaking my flow.

On top of that, it helps me spot security risks like exposed or weak passwords and accounts without two‑factor enabled, so I can fix issues before they become real problems. Secure sharing and organization tools mean I can safely share specific logins when needed (for example with a teammate or family member) instead of dumping passwords in chats or documents.

  ### 30. Open Source and Multiplatform with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luciano F. | Analista de operações, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like that Bitwarden is open source, as it offers transparency. The possibility of self-hosting is great, allowing me to use a local server without relying on third parties. Being cross-platform is very advantageous, as I can use the browser extension and the app on my phone. I also appreciate Bitwarden Send, which allows sending encrypted links. The vault health feature is useful for viewing the status of my passwords. Additionally, the initial setup was very smooth, with the creation of the vault being quick and the installation of extensions simple, both on the phone and in the browser.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

ux/ui, autofill on mobile, management of duplicate items, themes, renewed web vault, improvement in text field identification for effective autofill, cleaning via csv

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden solves decision fatigue, memory, and the danger of password recycling.

  ### 31. Easy to Use, Feature-Rich Enterprise Password Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott K. | security analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

For end users it is very easy to use and understand. It provides all the features that we as administrators are looking for in an enterprise password manager, including browser integration, autofill, MFA, etc

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Nothing really comes to mind that I would consider an actual issue.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basic password hygiene in the workplace, password reuse. Enabling users to use stronger passwords/passphrases. We've even used it to modernize some older manual processes within the business that wouldn't have traditionally been thought of as being solved by a 'password manager' - but instead think of it as a 'vault' for storing and securely accessing anything that can be digitally stored the possibilities change.

  ### 32. Uncomplicated and Effective Auto-Fill

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abrão R. | Frontend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like the fact that I can autofill passwords effortlessly with Bitwarden, which makes the process very straightforward and uncomplicated, especially on mobile devices. The initial setup of Bitwarden was very simple and straightforward. Moreover, I had never used another password manager before, and I am very satisfied with this one, so much so that I would give it a 10 out of 10 when recommending Bitwarden to a friend or colleague, as it is a very good application.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I think the part about organization could be improved, many different accounts for the same service end up becoming a bit messy.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to manage my passwords, especially due to frequent leaks in Brazil. It makes changing and securely using passwords easier without needing to remember each one, making the process straightforward and uncomplicated with autofill.

  ### 33. Essential for Password Management and Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murilo A. | Software Engineer Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden for everything in my daily life, including personal and company logins, and for accesses that involve email and password. I love that I don't need to memorize my passwords, since Bitwarden does that for me. Additionally, I can generate secure and long passwords, which is very important nowadays. Bitwarden's autocomplete feature is very good, as it automatically fills in the login fields and, if necessary, even the 2FA. It's easy to set up and I use it both on my phone and in the browser, specifically in the Google Chrome extension.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Some sites, it kind of can't identify what the login is, so there could be some intelligence there to better identify logins, especially when the domain on the site is different but it's the same product.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need to memorize passwords, I can generate secure and long passwords. It has a very good autocomplete to fill in fields and integration with 2FA.

  ### 34. Bitwarden: Complete Security with Excellent Value for Money

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pagos O. | Frontend Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like the extension for working from the web and Bitwarden's passkeys. In my vault, I can store all my passkeys in an organized and controlled manner, and I can access them from the extension. This feature allows me to access applications and websites in seconds. Additionally, Bitwarden offers more granular permissions, better pricing, and is open source compared to 1Password.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The user interface can improve. I don't understand why there has to be a scroll on the Y-axis when logging in, as it doesn't allow you to correctly see which zone the vault is in by default, whether in EU or COM. This section could be directly visible from the start or positioned at the top of the extension. Another problem is that the sync button is within a settings path -> vault options, when it's a button that's used a lot in companies. I think it should be more accessible.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to manage my passwords, cards, addresses, and access keys. It solves the problem of having all my network information in one place, organized and accessible from the web extension.

  ### 35. A simple and reliable password manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Newspapers | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

One of the biggest advantages is that it’s open source and that the company is audited. Combined with the fact that my data is encrypted, those things make me feel secure using this service.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The UI can be confusing at times and isn’t always fully intuitive to navigate. Mobile integration is available, but it requires accessibility features to be turned on for auto-filling the username and password fields, which may put some users off due to safety concerns.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden is straightforward to use on Android and in my web browser, and those two options alone make it easy for me to access my data wherever I am. Features like auto-lock also help me feel more at ease, especially in case I forget to log out. Overall, it lets me use multiple strong passwords without falling into the habit of reusing the same one.

  ### 36. Feature-Rich Password Manager with an Underrated Secure Send Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

Great password manager, full features and availability across platforms. It provides the ability to set secure passwords, generate OTP codes and manage Passkeys. The send feature is the most underrated feature, allowing secure send of text and files without the security issues of Dropbox or email.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

There's not an awful lot ot dislike. It's a well-thought-out product. The only thing that I wish it had was a feature for reminding me when certain passwords need to be changed. Whilst it's not good practise to force passwords to regularly change anymore, there are certain instances when sensitive passwords should be changed annually, and it would be great to be able to 'set a reminder to change' the password/secret at this time.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Password management, secrets transfer. No multiple password storage locations, no insecure spreadsheets or browser credentials management, just one place to store and secure your passwords.

  ### 37. Effortless Password Management, Highly Secure

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pietro P. | MSS | Managed Security Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden to store passwords for both work and personal life, as well as my identity and a few credit cards. The auto-fill extension is phenomenal; I no longer have to use the same password for everything or risk forgetting them. I can organize my passwords very well with Bitwarden, and it feels very safe. The initial setup was very easy, and it's an intuitive application. Overall, Bitwarden is a gorgeous and well-developed application.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The only thing that I don't like is that I cannot create dependences with the passwords folders, it would be great.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to store passwords for work and personal use, stopping me from using the same password everywhere or forgetting them. It organizes them well, feels safe, and the auto-fill feature is phenomenal.

  ### 38. Intuitive and Secure, But Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis C. | Software Engineer Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like that Bitwarden is really easy and intuitive to use. I can grab and store my data in an easy and secure way. I appreciate software and systems that encourage my use by being simple to use and secure so I don't have to worry when using them. The initial setup of Bitwarden was also really easy.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I think that the interface is really simple and ugly and I wish I could create folders inside folders. It's all really simple. The addition of passwords should really be simple and the interface could be too, but only if it was made in a good way, but the impression that I have is that it's just not really worked on.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to store my secrets, passwords, and data securely. It's easy and intuitive, making it simple to grab and store information without worry.

  ### 39. Effortless Password Management, Stellar Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jill K. | Head of IT, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

As a user, I really like the convenience and ease of use that Bitwarden offers. Using the fingerprint unlock on supported devices is great because it means I don't have to remember anything. Once biometric setup is done, logging in is just a touch of the finger instead of manual work. This feature, alongside auto-filling login data has been a huge time saver for me.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

As an admin, getting new users onboarded is still a bit rough. It's not always very clear to the users what they need to do, the first experiences with Bitlocker can be a bit confusing or intimidating.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden with my team to manage passwords and second factors (TOTP, passkeys), moving away from insecure methods like sticky notes. It's easy to use, with features like fingerprint unlock saving time. However, the new user onboarding is still a bit rough and confusing for some.

  ### 40. Review

  ### 41. Reliable and simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel R. | Product Support Analyst I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I loved the new features for Passkeys, and I still use a lot of the safe notes to save information that are not specifically login or credentials. Additionally, in my previous feedback, I said that the interface was not so friendly, and I got say that this has changed. It looks smoother and the design is matching the new iOS update.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The only issue I had was resolved, so now I can say that I don't have any negative feedbacks or things I'd suggest to improve.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had one password for all of my accounts, which is unsafe.
Now, I one different strong password, with the requirements of my own choice, for eache account, and I don't even have to remember them.

The fact that I can access, delete and change from any device makes it a lot convenient as well.

  ### 42. Intuitive UI, Open-Source Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinícius A. | Senior MLOps Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I find Bitwarden's UI quite outstanding, and it's really enjoyable to navigate and add new keys. The dashboard is intuitive, allowing me to easily pick and manage keys, which helps me find whatever I'm looking for. I particularly appreciate the ability to generate encrypted passwords, which are end-to-end encrypted and customizable across all its alternatives. I love that Bitwarden is open source, giving me control over what's happening behind the scenes. This makes it easier to see if any keys are leaked or how they are being used within my applications. Additionally, the plug-and-play integrations with other tools, including ones I'm developing myself, are really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I think imports could be more useful in terms of the types of data I can import. Maybe a gateway between other providers of the same kind of application would help. If I have my keys stored in another software, it would be useful to have a button to connect with them for importing other passwords. Setting up Bitwarden and configuring it in Docker files was kinda tricky. It also wasn't very intuitive to use a pipeline to change some passwords.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Bitwarden useful for managing and picking work-related keys. Its intuitive dashboard helps me find what I need, improving my workflow.

  ### 43. Secure and Seamlessly Integrated, Needs Improved Passkey Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando P. | Cloud Archictect, Consumer Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden to secure my passwords, credit cards, and secure notes related to both my personal and business life. I really appreciate the integration with my browsers and profiles, which helps me organize my tasks efficiently. Bitwarden allows me to log in to websites and applications seamlessly, which is very helpful. I also like the security it offers and its integration with both my desktop and mobile devices. It's a single source of truth for me, so I don't need to switch between multiple apps, which makes my day much easier.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

The export feature of the passkey is lacking. I can't export and import the passkey, which I need to work with different software for my job. I wish Bitwarden would implement that feature. Also, importing passkeys from other vendors like 1Password and Password Safe is not as straightforward as I would like.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to secure my passwords and organize tasks. It integrates with my browsers and profiles, allowing seamless logins. It's a single source of truth for my accounts, minimizing app switching. I appreciate its security and desktop-mobile integration.

  ### 44. Secure and Simple Password Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel T. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden for storing all my passwords securely, and I feel safe having strong passwords for each service or app without the burden of remembering them. I appreciate its simplicity and effectiveness. I use it every day for storing and querying passwords, and the Samsung keyboard integration is particularly helpful as it shows up as a suggestion. The password breach check and password generation tools are also valuable features to me. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, taking only about 5 minutes to install, create an account, and grant necessary permissions.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Maybe one thing that could be improved is the UI, but that is personal preference.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to store all my passwords securely. It gives me strong, unique passwords for each app without the headache of remembering them all. The password breach check ensures my passwords are safe, and I love its integration with my Samsung keyboard for daily use.

  ### 45. Efficient Credential Management with Bitwarden, Needs Import Improvements for existing credentials

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy A. | Project Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I like that Bitwarden provides a secure location for sharing credentials across our company, helping us manage things in a secure way. I appreciate being able to see changes over time, and Bitwarden allows us to manage access granularly based on what different staff need. It's great for helping us apply least privileged access principles, and it ensures that everyone is looking at the same thing when there are customer credential changes. The initial setup was very straightforward, and I found Bitwarden's documentation and training videos helpful. I also attended a customer webinar that covered different aspects of Bitwarden, which was really great.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I found Bitwarden to be a bit laggy and less responsive than I'd prefer when searching, especially with a database with thousands of credentials and extensive account information stored in custom fields. The import process is also somewhat challenging, and importing data to existing credentials results in duplicates, which is creates data integrity issues. Additionally, Bitwarden lacks the functionality for bulk permission assignment, which would be beneficial given that we use collections extensively. I would love to be able to cascade permissions through the nested collections functionality.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitwarden to securely share credentials across our company, managing access based on staff needs and applying least privileged access principles.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

I use Bitwarden as a Password Manager and for file and confidential details sharing. It solves my password generation or updating when needed, and it solves our password compromising by keeping them securely. I like the way Bitwarden is accessible and secure. I enjoy using Bitwarden because it's handy anywhere I need to log in to a certain application, with no need to find where the password is. It's also good that I'm able to share the feature of Bitwarden with my family. For the feature of Family Sharing, it enables my family to save their personal passwords securely. The initial setup was very easy since documentation is easily available.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

I think more on admin side. It is very difficult to extract list of members in our organization. Also the way we share password for a certain user. Maybe they could do a new feature more on user friendly. The collection part keeps me confusing when adding user to a certain folder or collection. Also for extraction, I need to use the CLI which is quite not user friendly.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden solves my password generation and updating needs and keeps our passwords secure, preventing staff from compromising them by saving elsewhere.

  ### 49. A Safer, Faster Way to Organize Passwords

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

It has helped me organize my passwords, which I previously just saved wherever I could. They were often duplicated and difficult to access. Now, two years after I first downloaded the app, everything feels different. I mainly use the browser extension and the app, and they save me a lot of time. I also feel that my information is as safe as possible.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

Autofill does not always work. In some webpages, I ask to autofill and save but once I need do log in again it does not autofill. It detects the site but just refuses to put the data in the boxes.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to manage my users and passwords, as well as documents and credit cards. It’s helpful not having to write down passwords or try to remember them all the time.

  ### 50. Open Source Security and Seamless Password Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Bitwarden?**

What I like best about Bitwarden is that it is open source, which gives me full transparency and flexibility. I can either self-host it in my own environment or use Bitwarden's hosted service, depending on my needs. Another great feature is secure password sharing. I can store passwords in Bitwarden and safely share them with my teammates. This way, everyone gets access without needing to store passwords elsewhere, and security is fully managed by Bitwarden. In addition to that, Bitwarden offers end-to-end encryption, so only authorized users can access the stored data even Bitwarden itself cannot read the password. This gives me strong confidence in the overall security. I really like its cross-platform support and browser integration. It works seamlessly across browsers and desktop and mobile devices, which makes managing and accessing passwords very convenient in daily work.

**What do you dislike about Bitwarden?**

One thing I dislike about Bitwarden is that the web login experience can feel slow when I use the website; it sometimes takes a noticeable amount of time to load the login page before I can sign in. Another issue is that the interface can feel complex at first. Once I got used to it, it became much easier, and I now use it regularly in my day-to-day work. In addition to that, some advanced features are not very intuitive and require extra time to understand or configure, especially for users who are not very technical. Lastly, offline usage and sync delays can occasionally be frustrating, particularly when switching devices and expecting the latest changes to appear immediately.

**What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitwarden solves the problem of securely managing and sharing sensitive information within a team, and this has been very beneficial for me in daily work. Firstly, Bitwarden allows me to store passwords securely and share them automatically with my teammates who are invited to the organization or vault. This removes the need to manually send or remember passwords, and if a password is updated, it syncs automatically for everyone who has access. Secondly, Bitwarden provides the ability to add secure notes for each item or user, which is very helpful for storing extra information like login instructions, environment details, or reminders related to that account. Another useful feature is the built-in password generator, which helps create strong, unique passwords without any extra tools, improving overall security. Bitwarden also supports storing SSH keys and secure credentials, which is extremely useful for developers. I can safely manage SSH-related access without sharing private keys insecurely, and access is controlled centrally. In addition, Bitwarden allows me to store payment and card details such as company credit card information. This lets me quickly purchase subscriptions or tools needed for a client or investor project without repeatedly asking managers, while still keeping everything secure and auditable. Beyond that, Bitwarden makes my work easier in a few important ways. It helps reduce security risks. Because everyone uses strong, unique passwords instead of reusing the same ones, it also keeps access management in one place, so adding a new teammate or removing access when someone leaves is quick and clean. Another big benefit is automatic syncing across devices. No matter where I am working from, I always have the latest credentials available without needing to ask anyone or search through old messages. Overall, Bitwarden saves a lot of time, avoids confusion, improves security, and makes working with a team much smoother and stress-free.
