I deposited $400 into my Bitfinex account, which Bitfinex has stolen! They refuse to return my money without me going through some ridiculously long-winded verification process for which I do not have the requisite equipment (i.e., a photo scanner). It would have been nice if they had informed me that they require numerous verification documents before I put my savings into their website. That way, I could have been like "oh, I don't have a scanner, I will just use a different website". But instead, they wait till you have made a big deposit and then decide to tell you that they require ID verification and seize all of your assets. Now they are ignoring my emails to top it all off.
