Implementation was very simple. Consolidating our location information into one platform that ensures the information is accurate and updated across all platforms is a huge time save for us. Onboarding multiple departments to the platform can be a daunting task, so more robust training for multiple employees would be a helpful addition. Especially if resources were available that could be provided to training departments. It would also be great if Birdeye was able to help businesses work with Google or Facebook to get fraudulent or malicious reviews taken down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best reason to use the Birdeye platform is to streamline customer communications channel all into one inbox. Web chats, Facebook messages, texts and emails all come into one inbox with opportunities to answer in one place. Plus, satisfied customers are directed to give reviews and less than satisfied customers are guided to give direct feedback that stays off the Internet. I would not say dislike. There is nothing I really do not like. To be honest the biggest problem I have with Birdeye is that it is too easy for everyone to use. Meaning anyone in our store and the internet team have the ability to contact the customer so the first person to reach out to the customer is the one who generally gets the sale. Our response time is roughly less than a minute for a reason. My team is constantly using it so if you are unfamiliar with Birdeye or what it offers you can be at a disadvantage. I really enjoy this program! Running a bustling veterinary practice, I can handle all my accounts in one place. I used to spend a significant amount of time crafting responses for each review, but now, thanks to the built-in AI feature and having everything centralized, it saves me considerable time. Birdeye makes life so much easier. I personally use it for social media management and it is really simple to upload the content and get everything posted. I use it at least a few times a day and find it very intuitive. I especially appreciate the 'approval' feature so others in the company can review before it goes live. The best part of Birdeye as a DSO is the ability to centralize and automate our review management without the necessity to overwhelm our busy practices. We were able to set up customized responses to reviews, auto reporting, identify trends and have a better overall picture of our practice experiences. We've had great support from our account managing team and never go without communication.
As an added thought, I appreciate the partnership with both our day to day success manager as well as the account manager. They always make sure we know about new features or solutions we can consolidate our vendor relationships. We will hopefully be switching some additional tools to Birdeye which should save several hundred dollars a month across our practices.
UPDATED 2024: We've been using Birdeye for over 2 years now and it's only gotten better. We now have the ability to customize our reports, which was one of my challenges at first. We've added new tools to our package and look forward to adding more in 2025. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Birdeye has been great for managing our online presence in one system. We use it daily for listings management, reviews, webchat and texting. We made the switch after using multiple systems to do the same thing. It's nice to have one login experience rather than two. It's also great to have a live person as your contact rather than waiting for an email response like the competitors force you to do. Service has been amazing from our sales rep to the implementation/integration process. We've been using the system since early 2024, and it only gets better and better. The live tech support is super helpful and easy to access. We're almost a year into working with Birdeye, and it continues to be a great experience for our company. We had quite a few bumps in the road with implementation early on. Our success/implementation coach and her manager were with us every step of the way. We didn't expect to have so many issues. Good news is they always get them fixed and are on it!
The Ai tool is fairly new with the webchat. It was piecing together information that wasn't accurate from our website because it took a piece of information from one page and combined it with another and didn't understand completely. As a result, we had to have them turn off the Ai answering function because it was letting customers know things that weren't correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have a team of support that are availble to help me right away and have been helpful in having all my issues resolved as well as automating the review process for me. I get to check on my account everyday and see progress in real time, it has increased client retention and clients have been more open to reaching out directly when they do not like the services they recieved, it makes the process of resolving an issue easy without taking a negative hit to our review sites.
