**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

I've been using Birdeye for about five years now, and it has truly helped shape our customer service while making our lives so much easier. It's an indispensable tool for our daily business operations, one we didn't even know we needed until we had it, and I still haven't used it to 100% of its capabilities. One of the biggest benefits for me is privacy. Birdeye lets me maintain excellent client relations and keep communication lines wide open without ever having to give out my personal cell phone number. It has completely transformed my sales process, because I can collect payments securely through the platform anytime and anywhere, so I'm able to lock in a sale no matter where I am. Even when our power goes out at work and we can't use the CC machine, this has saved me many times. Remote payment taking is hands down the best option for me. I also really like being able to navigate clients directly through our website while texting with them, guiding them through pages and closing the sale right then, which has been huge for my closing rates. The mental separation is helpful too, since if I choose to be off or on vacation, a client can still reach out and someone else can work with them. I've had too many times where I missed a personal text or call, and now someone can schedule a delivery or answer a quick question while I'm not 100% checked in. It helps with customers who like to text instead of calling, so they can send issues, questions, and pictures and know it'll go through. I've been on vacation the last two weeks, my clients asked for ETA updates, someone jumped in to answer them, and I added an internal note to thank that person, and the client still thinks it's me. It's been very helpful to see what's been asked and done at the end of the day. It also holds all the old history for the client and full conversations, and questions from our website get directed to us as the store. We switched from Podium mainly because of pricing. Other than being new, the setup was simple. If you want an elevated way to work your clients while remote, I can't recommend Birdeye enough, and I'd rate it a 10 out of 10 to recommend.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

{"Only issue that i have is sometime the invoice number glitches, and you have to open the number options between each number. The invoice number every time i have to type a number on the app, it make you change from keyboard to number pad between each and every number.","I sometimes don't like that the whole store keeps seeing the sale while I'm working with the client.","I also don't like people seeing my whole conversation with the client, it can get personal sometimes.","The app/payment can be down so we can't accept payments on the app; I have to log in to the web instead.","Onboarding was hectic — newer people and older people that aren't tech savvy were having a hard time. It was simple just annoying for me.","Unfortunately our Birdeye isn't connected to our CRM.","Visibility/permission controls are limited: once something is assigned to someone it becomes available to the whole store, and there's no easy way to set work days/hours or reset visibility when someone leaves."}

The biggest thing for me is remote payment taking, hands down. I can collect payments securely anytime, anywhere, even when our power goes out and the CC machine won't work. Clients can reach me without my personal cell number, and someone can jump in while I'm off or on vacation.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

I use Birdeye for online directory citation management. It lets me establish a central source of truth and then push out accurate information to many, many directories online. It also streamlines duplicate citation suppression, and approving or denying business profile suggested changes. What I like most is the convenience of having a single location where I can work, generate reports, and provide value to my clients. In the day to day, Birdeye is definitely superior to BrightLocal. The outcomes, the follow through on listing sync, and the reports I'm able to generate far exceed the capabilities of BrightLocal. It provides better overall outcomes, with an increased rate of follow through on directory citation syncing. The initial setup was the perfect level of ease, and enough guidance was provided to ensure all steps were completed correctly.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

{"Operationally, I want a change history on a per account basis so companies can see who made which changes to which accounts and when.","On one account, human error led to incorrect social profile URLs being added to the wrong account, and it was impossible to establish a timeline for the client because we had no record of who made the change or when the change was made.","I don't find Birdeye truly user intuitive."}

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

The interface is intuitive and easy to learn. Integrations via the Birdeye API, which allow us to pull data directly into our business data environment in Big Query, have been smooth. Overall performance of the Birdeye UI is snappy, and filtering through reviews is quick. Understanding our customers' opinions on our outlets is well worth the cost of admission. Birdeye support is amazing; they answer quickly and concisely. The AI features and stock reporting allow our non-technical stakeholders to understand sentiment around their outlet and easily compare reviews in pre- and post-change periods.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

I dislike the "Archived" review features. Once a review is pulled down from the site where it was posted, it becomes archived and effectively hidden. I would still like to see those reviews and be able to follow up on the points they raise.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No single place to obtain customer reviews. We would have to manually scrape reviews ourselves. Birdeye solves the problem of aggregating all our reviews into a single, easy-to-consume dashboard for us.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

Birdeye makes it easy and convenient to see all of your business reviews, all at once on all the platforms - and responding to them so simple and fast! And the platform is easy to learn and navigate. The AI tools are so nice to have -  when time is often not on your side, Birdeye is a major timesaver. I have been super pleased with Birdeye for our hospital - and for saving me time!

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

The AI generated responses are a great way to launch a more pesrsonalized response to our reviews, but I wouldn't use them without editing them. They feel a little stiff and forced/like ai is responding to someone's review - which I for sure want to avoid. I still like using it as a backbone to craft my response's over not having it at all.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Birdeye solves my TIME problem - I don't have a lot of it to devote to review managment - and Birdeye keeps everything in one spot for me to see quickly and easily. Before Birdeye I had to log in to dashboards among different sites - with Birdeye, all the site reviews are right there for me! Before Birdeye I wasn't sure I'd receive notice of new reviews - with Birdeye, I get an email right away so I can respond quickly. Without the ai tool to help craft my responses to reviews, it would take me so much more time. Birdeye solves so many problems!

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

I love the automation of reputation management as well as the detailed reporting on reviews, rankings of our google locations, and AI performance.  We utilize Listings, Reviews, Social, and Search AI and integrate directly into our EHR, AdvancedMD.  This allows for simple, automated imports of new clients as well as automated review requests.  Our Listings tool allows us to track pertinent keywords across SERP, Maps, and more.  The software works extremely well with very little downtime.  When there are minor issues, support is responsive and helpful.  

I didn't expect our business location rankings to improve so quickly on the maps - this has helped our business generate more leads in new areas of service.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

The only downside to utilizing Birdeye, in my opinion, is that it can often develop quickly and new features are deployed often - leaving a rapidly changing interface that requires constant upkeep to manage.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Birdeye is helping us manage our Google (and other services) Listings as well as reputation with extreme ease via Listings AI.  The Listings AI tool solved a major problem for managing a multi-site business.

What I like best about Birdeye is that it brings the entire guest experience into one platform. It makes it easier to manage online reputation, generate more reviews, communicate with guests through text and web chat, and gain actionable insights from feedback. I especially appreciate how it helps businesses identify trends, respond quickly to guest concerns, and use real customer sentiment to improve operations and strengthen brand loyalty.

I wouldn't say there's anything I dislike about Birdeye. Like any platform that's continuously evolving, there are times when certain features or enhancements take a little longer to roll out than I'd like. Occasionally, our operational needs outpace what's currently available, but I see that as part of a growing product rather than a drawback. Overall, I've had a great experience with the platform and appreciate that it's consistently improving based on customer needs.

This streamlined approach makes it easy for clients to leave feedback on platforms such as Google, Yelp, and other industry-specific review sites. **What do you like best about Birdeye?**

Birdeye has an easy, intuitive user interface that works well for both brand-new users and those already seasoned with the platform. The integration with AppFolio was a major selling factor for us. The system performs reliably and is customizable for our business needs. The pricing felt reasonable given the integration features. Their support team has always been available when we've needed them, and Birdeye provided a very robust onboarding experience. The AI/intelligence offerings are aligned with keeping us at the top of our game.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

I haven't encountered any downsides to using Birdeye. If I were to offer one piece of constructive feedback, it would be to further expand and strengthen the existing integration with AppFolio, preferably  their Association Management division, so we can enjoy the integration for  both of our AppFolio databases.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Birdeye has helped us meet our review automation needs. It's much easier now to identify which employees are actively requesting reviews and to track the positive results that follow, along with respond to those reviews quickly using the AI recommended responses.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

Birdeye is a direct and instant connection to our clients. Whether they had a positive experience or not, we can instantly respond to thank them and address any concerns. It is also a great tool to keep track of positive reviews so that we can contact the owners and post reviews with updated pictures on social media. The public trusts opinion and proof. Birdeye is able to give us both of those to help us know which direction our marketing and communications are going. The dashboard is a simple, easy-to-use format that breaks down the reports and helps me keep everything in one place. The AI features are fantastic! It helps me stay on top of interacting with clients and responding to poor reviews to alleviate miscommunications and ensure trust. The insights, reports, and competitor views are brilliant! I review them daily, and it is a vital tool.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

We have not had any issues with Birdeye as far as the program. It updates continually, and the requests are instant. It would be nice to have learning modules regarding client interactions and understanding how best to use the tools in the program to increase and encourage positive reviews.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Birdeye is my main management tool that we use to track our priorities and tasks. It is a tremendously useful and knowledgeable tool to keep everything organized and available in one place for us. We have the information instantly available to actively know second by second how our clients are experiencing each aspect of the process (check-in, finances, quality of care, and check-out). The analytics and reporting help us keep everything together in one place. Our clients are very important to us, and the instant updates on reviews allow us to interact with them and reassure them that their voice is heard. It is also the starting point for every grievance, so it equips us to have the contact and client information to thoroughly review every experience.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

Birdeye did an amazing job during onboarding. They worked side by side with my team to make sure our account was configured correctly, and that we felt confident in how to use the tools included in our subscription. They also continued to follow up and offer support throughout the process.

The UX is intuitive, and it’s easy to navigate the platform and understand the reports we’re looking at. We were able to set up pre-written responses for different types of reviews, which has been a helpful time-saver, and the AI tool for writing responses has also been useful for my team.

In the near future, we’ll be integrating our outreach workflows with our HubSpot account. That should be an excellent time-saver and will help us track which accounts have received a text or email asking them to leave a review. In the meantime, we appreciate the flexibility to do manual uploads.

Pricing was reasonable for the solution. Overall, the platform is working exactly as we expected: our online reviews are increasing, and we’re able to keep up with the higher volume even with a small team. We are very pleased with the performance of Birdeye.

At this time, there are no complaints. We’re meeting the goals we set for onboarding with Birdeye, and everything is on track so far.

An unexpected benefit has been the steady growth in our Google reviews and stronger online reputation.

The reporting could be more customisable, and managing templates across different campaigns can be a little cumbersome. More flexible dashboards and easier bulk editing would make it quicker to analyse performance and update campaigns as we grow.

We struggled to consistently collect client reviews and manually followed up after each settlement, which was time-consuming and often led to missed opportunities. **What do you like best about Birdeye?**

Birdeye has a large suite of products to help any business succeed.  From Local Listing Management, Experience Management, Online Reputation Management to Social Media Management.  We use their Local Listing and Online Reputation Management and have been for years.  It has helped us establish consistent business listing information online and increase the number of reviews we receive each month.

They have a great interface and mobile application as well which makes using the product easy especially since you are in it on a daily basis.  It is easy to setup and if you have any issues they have great customer support.

Their online chat feature works well with businesses who value quick connection with customers. When the customer is on their website and reaches out the business can instantly interact with them to help convert the customer.  While there are some spam contacts over 80% have been legitimate.   It is easy to integrate the chat feature into the website as well as the reviews link and reviews rating.

The application runs well and is easy to use online or on your phone.  The newer AI features seem to work well although I am not always sure what the real difference is from the old non AI products.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

Birdeye is a little more expensive than some of their competitors.  Sometimes I get frustrated with what is included and what is an additional cost.  It is not always clear until you add it and get billed for it.

Having consistent reviews online is important and Birdeye makes this easy.  Their tool does the work to solicit reviews and follow-up with individuals who have not reviewed and help them to do so.  They also provide an easy to use communication / online chat tool.  This helps you connect with potential customers and turn leads into conversions.  Their easy to use local listing management will help keep business information in sync across business directorys.

I like how Birdeye has continued to grow each year, bringing on new products, with social media being a big one. The inbox feature is really critical for us to communicate with our customers, which is the biggest piece we utilize. Social media allows us to post to multiple channels at once, making it very convenient. Additionally, the inbox allows one-on-one texting without any charge, keeping us in touch with our customers, which is something many businesses overlook. I also found the initial setup very easy, especially with the help of videos in all modules which made it straightforward. Birdeye is really a good product for reputation management.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

I think they need to have a phone system, and they're working on that. Their email marketing could be better. I think they're a little lax on it, but they have a program they're currently working on. We're not disappointed, and the things that we think can be improved on, they currently are working on.

Do not price be a deciding factor. You will not be disappointed the results and the results assist you in retention which allows you time to grow your client base.

While Birdeye delivers powerful results, the platform's user interface can feel incredibly overwhelming and convoluted, especially when managing a team with multiple individual loan originators. The dashboard tries to pack too much data onto the main screen, making it frustratingly difficult to quickly locate a specific loan officer's profile, track their individual metrics, or even distinguish exactly whose reviews you are currently looking at without a clunky, multi-step navigation process. 

They severely need to streamline and simplify the face of the platform so branch managers can analyze employee-level performance at a glance without getting lost or confused in the clutter. 

Beyond the messy interface, other users frequently point out minor but persistent frustrations, such as the AI-generated responses occasionally feeling repetitive and generic if not manually tweaked. 

Additionally, the system sometimes experiences lag when updating review statuses, lacks native publishing support for modern social media formats like TikTok or live videos, and features a steep learning curve that requires considerable time and training for new team members to fully master.

The integrations across so many different platforms has been a game changer for our social media and review engagement. Another aspect that has saved us a great deal of time is being able to manage and automate office listings, marketing posts, review responses, etc. for several locations at once.

It would be incredible if Birdeye could feed updated information back into our scheduling software. For example, if an email bounces back as non-deliverable, I’d love for it to be flagged or marked in some way so our team knows to update it the next time we interact with that client.

The only other thing I haven’t loved is that, when we were interested in adding mass texting capabilities, we discovered our initial integration wasn’t sufficient. We tried to update our integration using an SFTP file transfer; however, there wasn’t a quick or simple way to filter the necessary data from our software into the correct format to support further integration.

The main downside to Birdeye is that the AI feature does not currently learn or adapt to your company’s brand voice over time. Additionally, Birdeye no longer integrates with Yelp, which means we now have to log into Yelp separately to monitor and respond to those reviews.

What I like best about Birdeye is how efficiently it centralizes reviews and customer feedback across multiple businesses. A big part of our positive experience has also been the onboarding—Shri, our onboarding specialist, was fantastic. She made the setup process smooth, clear, and easy to follow, which helped us get up and running quickly.

As a newer user of Birdeye, the main challenge has been the depth of the platform. There are a lot of features and capabilities available, which is a positive, but it does take time to fully learn how to use everything as effectively as possible—especially across multiple business locations.

We’re also still working through how to best align integrations with our existing systems, so additional guidance or best practices in that area would be helpful.

That said, the onboarding experience itself has been excellent. Shri, our onboarding specialist, has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and clear throughout the process. The learning curve is more a reflection of how robust the platform is, not the support we received.

Don't really have anything there. There's a few things when it comes to some time stamp when it comes to when we're responding and tagging different things. We use a lot of tags. For our internal team, that we can tag reviews as complete or responded to. The initial setup of Birdeye was really easy; I was using it within seconds of logging in. s a high-volume mortgage professional, my time is best spent structuring complex financing, not chasing administrative tasks. What I value most about Birdeye is how it integrates seamlessly into my workflow—specifically the automated triggers that request reviews the moment a loan hits the Clear to Close (CTC) or Closing milestone. It turns a manual 30-minute follow-up into a 'set and forget' system that ensures our 5-star reputation is reflected online without me having to personally micromanage the process.

Our account manager goes over performance on a monthly basis and helps deploy new strategies based on the results.

I wish Birdeye had the ability to send out "texting blasts" for marketing purposes. Also, I do wish Birdeye was able to make more of a "profile" for all contacts. That way you are able to keep a Card on file for runnng payments, and able to customize settings for each contact.

Also, the reporting feature is super easy to use!  The standard reports are powerful but you can also customize them for what you need.  An added bonus is that we receive our FB & IG messenger messages on the platform also.  We recently added surveys and those are working beautifully!

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

The ONLY thing I dislike is that the phone number and email address that is used for patient texting and emailing is a 2-way line.  We often have patients text, call or email for questions, issues, etc.  I cannot wait for an enhancement that make it a "do not reply".

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are getting our patients to review us more and therefore increasing our ratings.  We are also sending surveys to new patients to get a feel for their happiness with their visits before they get a review request.  I also love the mobile app because if I am away from my computer I can see if there are any negative sentiments and act on them right away!  I can also respond to reviews from the app so that I can do it on the fly.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

I like the easy navigation and the centralized dashboard, which helps make managing online reviews and posting to social media simple and efficient. Streamlined layout saves time and helps ensure we maintain a consistent and professional online presence.  Helps me stay organized so I can perform at the highest level.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

The cost may feel higher compared to simpler tools, especially for smaller teams; integrations may require extra help to function exactly as needed.  Some features have a learning curve, but it's easy to manage and pick up after you get a hang of it.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Review management and responding. I use it to post to social media and help mange my content calendar. I also use it for listings to ensure all our listings are correct among multiple platforms. It's nice when I have to update our hours for special occasions or holidays, I just update it on Birdeye and it updates my hours across all social platforms. It's so nice I don't have to go into all these platforms to do that.
