Nothing to dislike. I do have suggestions to improve it through. 1) Biorender should include 3D structure more.
2) Can include a way to draw to create something new.
3) Cellular organelles detail structure, especially Lysosome, ER, Mito, and Golgi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps to create and illustrate the mechnistic figures in decribing your work as well as in your manuscripts. I have been using Biorender since 2 years almost and have been recommending to my peers as well. It has great in built icons and templates which helps a lot.
For dairy and food scientists it helps to draw different equipments using in built icons, define their processes and many more. Further, it is easy to use and have high resolution as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wont say that I dislike it, but rather something that could be added to it which is icons and templates for dairy and food science students for instance, there are not enough equipments from dairy science as icon/template e.g. heat exchanger, cheese vats even the icon for ice cream and other milk products . There is one icon for cheese etc. this would help to gain more people from dairy science. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BioRender is a user friendly and collaborative tool used by both me and and my colleagues to make flawless figures for science. Not only have I used it for class, but also for high quality graphical abstracts and figures for publications, as well as using their poster builder feature! This is the one tool as a scientist I am constantly using on a regular basis. It was super easy to get in contact with customer support if I ran into any issues. Since working with c. elegans, I really enjoyed having multiple model organism figures already made and I no longer had to use grey squiggles on powerpoint to model my experiments for presentations or lab meetings. I highly recommend using this program to communicate your science more effectively! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides of BioRender are the time it takes to learn all of the shortcut features to make figure making quicker. Also, BioRender is not currently integrated with cloud platforms like OneDrive or Google Docs that would make for easier use with colleagues and sharing information with other users outside of the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BioRender has made making clear, readable figures for my publications and presentations a breeze. I'm saving so much time compared to other softwares, and the tools they have make it simple for me to customize their icons, which is really necessary for me since my research is unusual. I also use it for educational figures, worksheets, and tutoring resources. It really has been a lifesaver for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish there was more diversity in the organmisms available as generic figures, or that some icons were a bit more "realistic" as opposed to the more illustrative/cartoon style. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful part about using BioRender is how user friendly it is. You do not need a prolific background in making figures to be able to use BioRender. It is pretty self-explanatory but yet is very comprehensive with its capabilities.
