The only thing to dislike about BIMObject is using the search button if I type name of the component that I am looking for, I mighht not always end up looking at the right thing. One thing which I dislike is that it sometimes shows the irrelevant families of the element which was not necessary or not related to it. It sometimes shows the wrong information in the elements, or sometimes we didn't even get the proper families. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can find and compare BIM models provided by the manufacturers using the search tool. The models are nearly always well-made and functional and are paired with useful information from the manufacturer regarding projects specifications and models. I dislike that the search feature doesn't always do a great job of sorting out what I am searching for. Many times there are a lot of unrelated models that appear in the search results that have to be sorted through. I do wish that BIMobject would start including more interior design models, from FF&E to accessories such as soap dispensers. My firm does a significant amount of healthcare design, and we are always looking for specific equipment models that have to be sourced from sales reps or separate websites, which can be time-consuming.
