"Excellent Credit Card Spend Management with Strong Budgeting and Controls"
5/5
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

Credit card spend management, budgeting, and controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

There’s no option to send a requisition like BREX and then, once it’s approved, have it automatically added to the budget limit. Also, the email receipt function for automatch seems to have been removed, or the customer care representative I called didn’t know about it. Either way, it’s frustrating. "Easy to Use, Flexible Fund Controls with Great Rewards"
5/5
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

It’s easy to use, and the app works great. It gives us plenty of options and flexibility for controlling funds, and it integrates directly with Intacct as well. The cards are free, and the rewards are good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

Because there are so many options, it can feel a bit challenging at first. Some of the places where you set up options, policies, or approvers aren’t immediately obvious, so it takes a little time to find what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Expense Management with Easy Card Requests"
5/5
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

I like that I can manage everything in the online portal without having to call my bank. It's convenient for requesting new employee credit cards, closing cards, or adjusting credit limits. Everything is easily managed right in the portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

Sometimes the QuickBooks sync is a little bit off, which has caused some issues like having to go through and adjust things to make sure everything is correct. Also, when we select the vendor, sometimes it's adding duplicate vendors without me realizing. So I think there's some improvements to be made there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration with QuickBooks, Easy Expense Management"
5/5
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

I like the really simple interface of BILL Spend & Expense, which makes it easy and simple to use. I appreciate how seamlessly it integrates into our QuickBooks. The biggest feature for me is categorizing expenses and anticipating where categories will be. I also enjoy using virtual credit cards to allocate budgets to different team members. Additionally, the setup was surprisingly easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

The budgets are a little clunky. I wish it was a little bit easier to visualize. But it works really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact we can offer each team member a card and control their spend. It gives them autonomy and allows for spending without always asking for approval. This is exactly why we love this card- as well as budgeting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Expense Reports, but Needs Better Receipt Matching"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

I like that BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy) makes it very easy to do and produce my expense reports. I appreciate the fact that I'm able to upload receipts with ease, which streamlines the process when I'm handling expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

Sometimes the matching of the receipts or when you can email your receipts in, they never match. I use the email receipt feature all the time, and it always sends it back saying that it cannot locate the item. But then when I go in there, I am able to match it up. "Good Concepts But Needs Major UI Overhaul"
2.5/5
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

I like that BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy) is fairly easy to use. I also appreciate its ability to sync with our systems, and I think there are a lot of good concepts embedded in the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

I hate the UI environment. I think it should be more like Bill.com and less like Divvy. I also hate that approvers don't work the same way as they do in Bill.com. The spending limits can be hard to understand. We have a ton of sync errors with certain vendors, and it's a pain to try and figure out. One thing I hate the most is that you can't open a credit card transaction in the entire window; it forces it to the right-hand side. It should open like bills do in Bill.com. It's very hard to use on small screens. I also hate all the scrolling that Spend & Expense has on their windows; instead, it should just size to fit the window of the screen. I understand if someone minimizes the screen or makes it smaller, then sure, have me scroll, but if I have the window fully expanded, I shouldn't have to scroll. Also, I don't like how all approvers can't edit their work if they make a mistake. Denying a transaction seems to do nothing. Also, in automation rules, I dislike that I can't set a custom field, in our case, it's a description. It wasn't really easy to set up; I feel like our implementation team could have been better. The UI is changing so much and not for the better. I also hate how they made the menu disappear until you scroll over it, without the option to pin it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy onboarding and card controls, but limited integrations and lackluster support beyond onboarding"
3.5/5
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

The onboarding process was light and quick with a very responsive team from sales to onboarding. The simplicity with ease of use on the website was a draw for us with a phone application that provides real-time pings to users for data collection at the point of card use is nice. There are ERP ana accounting system integrations but those are limited in availability. The card works well with options to build and restrict budgets to categories choosen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

Unfortunately the simplicity was the downside for us. We need to track our expenses in projects with phases, phases with tasks. BILL is unable to integrate with our systems and lacks dependencies meaning we can't like the projects with its respective phases. Also, the budgeting and limitations that can be placed on cards seemed oversold for what was reasonably possible. The categories and groupings couldn't overlap so we would need to create multiple budgets and assign those to each user. Then the user is required to choose the correct budget each time PRIOR to making a purchase, which is a stretch to ask of non-accounting folk users. Lastly, after the onboarding, support has been poor. We have asked to close our account and given promises with no results since. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
