**What do you like best about BigTime?**

The support team is amazing. I've had to reach out to them numerous times and I'm almost always impressed. Leah, Brittany, and Jake especially have been awesome.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The implementation process was really rough. We were given a very inexperienced implementation leader and there were numerous problems that we encountered while working with her. It got us off to a bad start to the point where we regretted going with BigTime. However, the leader of all the implementation team reached out to us and is being super helpful. I'm looking forward to working with her to learn more about how to use BigTime. The more I use it and the more I learn, the more I like it.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's really nice to have all of our solutions in one platform. We were using different platforms for everything from time entries to expense reports to project management. It's nice to have everything working seemlessly together.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how easy it is to enter Time and Expenses.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The phone app does not allow to enter an expense as a "Charge" and apply it to the user's credit card.  It has to be entered and an expense and then manually changed to a charge and apply it to the credit card when logged in  via browser.  This adds an extra step to the process.

BigTime is very user friendly.

BigTime support is very good at stepping you through setting to get the desired results.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime is easy to use and straight forward. You can get up and running quickly. We leverage both an integration to Salesforce and QuickBooks which is helpful in streamlining operations.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The reports are often too simple for our desired design. We frequently need to create multiple reports and do pivot tables to get all the information we want together. The API is very buggy and changes often causing us a lot of frustration.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit is time tracking for our team to both bill T&M projects as well as track margin on fixed fee engagements. We find the resource management feature to be too limiting for our needs so we do not use that.

I really like the invoicing and payment aspect and how it integrates with Quickbooks.

I dislike the ability to customize the invoice template.  Since it is written in html, I have to request assistance to modify the templates.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime is really done well job for the management of multiple projects at a single place, it is simple and intituitive software to work with. The best part of BigTime is their live support that is just awesome. it is quite easy for integration with other tool like QuickBook and in our case Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

the only dislike about bigTime is that it feels like little buggy even though the user interface is quite decent but some time when we create complex workflow in it it lags and just does not respond properly, i was also finding it difficult when i was trying to upload a expense file, it was constantly throwing errors for unknown reason.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime is platform for multiple project management, it also takes care of time and expense management for the live project on which we have worked on. it just ensure that we will get paid for the work we have done. we have very good experince with BigTime in terms of traking the informations of our customer, time traking and Expense management as well.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I really appreciate having all the features related to employees, vendors, clients and projects all in one place.  The product was so easy to implement within our business. The integration with QuickBooks was very easy with the assistance of our implementation contact at BigTime.  In the off chance that I need Customer Support they have always been quick to respond.  Most issues turn out to be in users errors.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There is nothing that I dislike with BigTime.  However; I do have a future improvement suggestion.  I would love if BigTime could add in time off request and tracking products.

BigTime is working to approve their Analysis tools allowing us to track more details against our clients, contracts and employees.

Big Time has everything we need for payroll and invoicing.  Their tech support is also very supportive.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

Bigtime is a flexible software and we have configure this software for the project management. BigTime offers a wide range of features for project management like Gantt Chart, resource and time management, budget control and for collaboration tools.

Desktop version is seems fine however the team needs to work on mobile application. I personally found it is difficult as it have multiple features which needs time to understand for new user.

Since project management is an Art start from initiation till closure. Project management shows clear picture for pre define assign tasked to the management for better decisions making and this software through out support us in many ways. They have experienced troubleshooting teams who responds quickly.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

As someone who had very little training from the past employee who held my position, BigTime is very user friendly and quite easy to use and figure out. I enjoy that I can hop on the live support whenever I need to get some extra information. For instance, Leah J, the support tech who helped me today, answered my questions thoroughly and very efficiently. Our interaction was precise and to the point. And I love that we get a record of our converstations so that I can refer back to them as necessary!!

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Things seem to change without much notice. For instance, we used an A/R summary report all the time to run 30,60,90 day balances on all our engagements. It was a quick one page document, and seemily, overnight this option disappeared. I have tried to get help to find this feature, or create a custom account, however no one has been able to help me and my emails have been ignored.

BigTime definitely takes a lot of work out of what could be a very timely process in monthly billing. The program also makes staff training easy as well as pairing quite easy with Quickbooks. It makes balancing our ledgers very easy.

I like it's ease of use, and its interface. It could be used very simply, or very detailed depending on the size of the company and number of people in the company. Pretty versatile and affordable.

Not much that i dislike about BigTime. If it could improve, it would look more like an Apple product.

There have not been any problems. The fact that we couldnt import years of data was a problem, but i dont think that was in our cards to pay for.

What I like best about BigTime is the ability to create reports out of employee timesheets. We are a client based business, so it is helpful in seeing where we allocate hours.

I have no issues with using BigTime thus far.

Since we are a client based company, it is important seeing how many hours we allocate to each one. BigTime helps us to manage how many hours are spent towards projects, clients, and our own internal workings.

Big thanks for the live chat button. Short wait time and quick answer for a small problem I've had. The dark mode option for viewing, works great for an overly bright office.  Never would have found this without the live chat. Thanks Brittany Urrutia!!

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Missing mailing label printing ability. Could use more editing ability for invoice style.

**Recommendations to others considering BigTime:**

We shopped for new timesheet/billing software for two years. Most programs were too broad ranging, trying to be everything to every one.
BigTime has very easy to understand interfaces for timesheet and billing information.

Great update on time tracking compared to our old software. Very fast time sheet entries.
Customizing reports to our specific company needs.

The platform is easy to use once you learn how to navigate around it. The Live Chat support specialists are always timely and helpful with any issues.

Sometimes, things can be a bit confusing when trying to create new reports, but the live chat specialists are always there to assist me.

We try to see how many hours we are putting towards clients. The reports also teach us where and with whom we need to allocate more hours.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime has easy-to-access customer support, and all representatives have been helpful in troubleshooting our issues or escalating to someone who can help us. We are happy with the team we have assigned to us! Live chat is a nice feature. Leah J helped me with an issue very quickly and ensured we had our report looking as we needed it to!

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The only issue we've had with BigTime is implementation/features. There are a few things that take some tweaking on our end to get our workflow with Quickbooks Online sorted out. Our implementation specialist, Ryan has been great at helping us find ways around this.

BigTime is helping our Project Managers to be able to track their budgets. We enjoy the ability to create tasks that staffers can log time against for budget tracking.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

The program is very user-friendly. The Live Chat Support is great. I use it a fair amount. I actually chatted with Tyler G. today and he was very helpful. The Custom Reporting is great as well.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The mobile app is very problematic for us. We rely on it a great deal, and presently it is extremely glitchy and even unusable for a few of our employees.

Invoicing through BigTime is great; however, we are unable to break out the markup on our vendor & staff expenses as its own line item so it comes over to QuickBooks included in the expense total and that is a problem for us. We had to come up with a manual workaround for this which is unfortunate.

We also wish there was a way to archive expenses (or just mark as posted) instead of having to actually post them as we have some expenses that don't need to be posted to QuickBooks. If we don't post them, then they just sit in the "Post Expenses" screen and we have to just constantly skip over them to get to the expenses we want to post. Or the alternative is to post them to QuickBooks and then delete them out of QuickBooks, but that's also a bit messy.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

One of the things we liked most about BigTime is that it synchronizes perfectly with our accounting application, QuickBooks, complementing functionalities and making the work more practical and efficient. It is an excellent software for time tracking, engagement management, invoicing, customer information tracking, reporting and more. As far as its user interface is concerned, it is intuitive and easy to use, which has been instrumental in our rapid adoption of the software.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

One of the things that could improve the software, in general, is to allow more fields for customizable options; also, customizing reports can be very complex when you don't have enough technical knowledge.

It is an exceptional platform that we have significantly benefited from; it has allowed us to simplify invoicing processes, time tracking, client information tracking and more without omitting details and ensuring that the organization gets paid without loss for services provided. Its automatic and correct synchronization with our accounting software allows us to visualize the same accounting data in real-time, and its functionalities complement each other to guarantee greater efficiency in our work.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

The ability to have many different projects, connected to timesheets, expenses and invoices. The integration with QuickBooks is a good feature, but we do have some issues with uploading expense reports. Support staff are good, Leah G. and Tyler were both helpful today.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

We don't like how you are charged per person, even if they are inactive but log in once to update an expense, for example. We do shift work and seasonal work so this is difficult. We have encountered some bugs as we continue to grow and use the software. It has cost us some time in having awkward formatting of invoices, in having to redo them and send them back to clients when they are not easy to add up the expenses and taxes. There was also some rounding issues, and some issues with being able to download reports in certain formats. Overall you can tell this is a newer software, but they are working with us to solve the problems. However, at one point we did have a meeting lined up to discuss our concerns, and they were a no-show.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to have time, expenses and invoicing all integrated, and connected to QuickBooks. In theory, when we get some of the issues sorted out, this will be streamlining our processes and saving us time.

The best feature of BigTime is time tracking.  First, it is easy for employees to record their time.  Second, it gives managers the ability to track the time their employees spend on their projects.

Now that I have been using BigTime for almost 2 years, I don't have any issues with it and therefore, nothing that I don't like.

**Recommendations to others considering BigTime:**

If you are considering BigTime, definitely get a demo and try it out.  Now that we have BigTime up and running and our team using it to record their time, we have improved how we track employee productivity.  We are better equipped to track current projects to make sure they are on track and profitable.  Lastly, invoices are created so much more efficiently, and their new look has been received very well by our customers.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime has changed our way of recording employees' time and invoicing our clients.  Putting our time into BigTime is extremely easy for our employees.  We can track projects and see productivity in real-time.   This then easily translates into our invoices for quick review prior to emailing to clients.  The response to the new look of our invoices has been amazing.  We have been told they are so easy to review and process for payment.   Several of our clients have completed the payment process on their end in a very short period of time, which has led to quicker payment to us.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime is a highly robust time-keeping, resource management, and billing system with a first-rate implementation process.  The high level of attention to clients' needs AND wants creates a custom experience from the start. The assignment of a dedicated individual to walk through the build process, assist with the go-live, and troubleshoot everything along the way provides a level of security and comfort that is essential to making one feel confident in transitioning to a new system.    Maneuvering through their self-help KnowledgeBase is intuitive; to date, every question researched has been answered.  Moreover, when struggling to know what to query in KnowledgeBase, the live chat team is responsive, hands-on and determined to help.  Thus far, our experience has been stellar.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The one issue that grinds my gears is that the filter function does not hold in place when you move between data fields.  For example, if I filter by location, click into a project found using that filter, then return to the main project screen, the filter disappears.  I understand this is in the queue to be handled sometime this year, and I'm certainly excited to see it happen.   The only other negative (although it's also a positive) is the extensive reporting functionality.  
BigTime's robust reporting is overwhelming when transitioning from a basic system.  I haven't dug into BigTime Academy yet, so there may be videos that assist with this issue.  While I'm overwhelmed with the amount of information I can access, it's not an actual problem.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating time-keeping, expenses, billing AND resource management into one system is exciting.  While we haven't implemented every component, we are determined to maximize the system fully.   Before implementing each of BigTime's functions, we must change staff mindsets and habits so that converting to a new methodology doesn't backfire and create unbearable pain points.  Based on what we've seen thus far, we can manage our staff resources better, more accurately budget our projects, and create efficiency and uniformity within our project teams.

One of the areas that I would hope the Bigtime team would consider involves adding a feature to the payroll system. Currently, the program does not differentiate between regular and PTO hours.  

We feel it is essential to calculate those hours for our employees so that they/we always know how much they have used and how much remains in their banks.

Another helpful upgrade wish involves including a contact list. We use the program to track our projects/clients/hours, and it would be super beneficial to have a global contact list available to all users—a searchable database of clients, vendors, and employees.

The use of the program is incredibly intuitive, and it has been pretty easy for the entire team to jump in and begin to use the system.

It's simple to set up and use. Usually works great. Easy for my team to use too.  Sync into QB is a breez.
When I do need help, support is quick and friendly. And we get right onto a screen share to fix it instead of chatting forever. Takes mere moments when issues do arise.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I wish it showed clock time - like what time of day a timer starts and ends, and not just duration.  The two clicks to start or pause a timer sometimes trips me up.  I click start, but not start again, so then I'm guessing how long it has been.  Which is where seeing the clock time for the prior work would be helpful.  I'd know what time it was when I switched projects but didn't start my timer all the way.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to import time to projects for both billing and payroll purposes.  Once imported into my accounting system, I can run job cost reports that pull in all payroll costs and get my true cost per project. I then check that against my subscription billing, project billing, or hourly billing (depending on the client) and can see where my profitability is highert and lowest
