**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime is easy to use and quick to open, especially compared to other software that can take longer to load. It is simple to find projects using the search bar, which makes entering time fast and efficient. The reporting tools are strong, particularly for tracking budgets and project profitability. I also appreciate that it combines project  management, invoicing, and expense tracking into one system instead of needing multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are no major issues that stand out in daily use. At times, more advanced report customization can take a 
few extra steps to configure exactly how I want it displayed. However, the system overall functions reliably and 
supports core project and billing needs.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I really like the calendar view in the timesheet. It’s simple, clear, and makes tracking time feel natural instead of forced. Overall, the system is user-friendly, which matters a lot when using it frequently. The reporting tools are also helpful when I need a quick snapshot of what’s going on. With the ease of use, solid number of features, and straightforward setup, it fits easily into my daily routine.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The timesheet can get a bit crowded over time, especially with older projects still showing up. It would be great if inactive projects could be hidden automatically after a certain period. I also think the budget view could be improved by including unsubmitted hours or showing them separately. That would make it easier to see the full picture without extra steps

the sync capability with quickbooks desktop and the ability to mark time based on different "classes" when posting.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The consistent "forgetting" of updates and additions made to contact info for clients - i spend unnecessary time fixing this every time i invoice.  Support is also much too willing to let requests go as "we don't know what the issue is, it must be on your side" rather than committing to working towards an actual solution.

It reduced the amount of touchpoints my team had with timesheet submission through to the invoicing process.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

The timesheet view is really helpful because I can see all my time for the week in one place and make edits
quickly if needed. I also like how easy it is to switch between tasks while tracking time during the day. It makes it
simple to stay accurate without interrupting my workflow. Keeping track of billable versus non billable work is also
very clear. The new timer is a great addition and makes it easy to see what I am actively working on at any
moment.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are no major issues that stand out in daily use. At times, it would be helpful to have a bit more flexibility in
customizing views or summaries depending on how I want to review my time. Overall though, the system works
well for what I need.

I keep the page open on my browser (chrome) to easily track hours as I go. If the page has been open for more than a day I always have to refresh in order to input new hours.

I really like the user interface. It’s clean and easy to navigate between weeks without getting lost. Entering hours is straightforward, and the overall layout feels intuitive. I also appreciate the submission process—having that extra step to review and edit my hours before final submission is genuinely helpful. It gives me a chance to double-check that everything is accurate before the week is locked in.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

One issue I’ve noticed is with the submission notifications. I submitted my hours in December, but I’m still receiving notices saying I have unsubmitted hours. When I go back and check that time period, I don’t see anything missing or incomplete. If this is a glitch, I’d really appreciate it being fixed, since it can be confusing and make me wonder whether something was actually left unfinished.

BigTime is efficient and easy to use. One feature I really appreciate is the ability to copy previous month's recurring expenses. That alone saves time and reduces repetitive work every month. The overall structure of the system makes expense and time tracking straightforward, which helps keep reporting organized.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

At times, if I stay logged in for a while, the system appears to stop working properly. It does not always log me out, but when I try to submit time, it can fail and require a full reload, which means reentering everything. I have gotten into the habit of refreshing the page just to avoid losing entries. The attachment process for expense reporting could also be simplified, and a more flexible upload option would be helpful.

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

Simple interface.  Ease of use.  Options galore, in terms of how time is recorded, detail-level and the ability to duplicate recurring entries easily are all great features.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I would love to be able to search for an old entry using 1 or 2 words.  Sometimes I need to find out an exact date a task was completed and have no other way to do so; other times I need to find outdated entries for different reasons.  Having a "searchbox" type of option would be ideal.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to better track the tasks I complete and also to track my time working on tasks, when I use the "Timers" feature (which is very helpful also).

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how easy the BigTime interface is. It makes it easy to record my hours, so when it's time to submit my experience record book for licensing, everything is already organized. I appreciate that it keeps recording my time even after I close it, which makes it super user-friendly—I can keep my tabs clean and still trust that it's logging my time, even if I close it by accident. The initial setup was super easy and didn’t take any time.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The fact that when you minimize the screen, the timer gets hidden in the background. Secondly, the main page that you see when I open it does not display the latest work week. Instead, it takes me back to the first week when I started logging my hours.

I like how Project, Phase, and Activity IDs automatically carry into future weeks unless deleted, which saves time and prevents me from having to re-add the same rows repeatedly. I also appreciate how quickly total hours update as I type them in, providing immediate feedback and helping ensure accuracy. Overall, the ease of use, continuity of entries, and responsive calculations make weekly time tracking much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The column widths are not automatically aligned when entering time, so each day of the week does not line up neatly without manually adjusting the columns. This requires stretching them every day, which can interrupt workflow. Additionally, there does not appear to be an option to copy tasks or memos, which would make recurring entries faster and more convenient.

We are a consulting company that requires billable hours to be tracked for the purpose of assessing employee performance and knowing what to bill clients. BigTime provides the ability for our employees to easily track their time for this purpose.

It is very easy to keep track of all my time and productivity. I also like the ease of approval at the end of each week. It is easy to submit mileage reimbursement for approval right within the program.

I wish there were templates that can remember my everyday items that I track each day that are the same.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Big Time helps me stay organized across the different tasks I handle each day and need to account for with my time. It’s easy to log in after a task or meeting and enter the details as I go, which helps me stay balanced by the end of the day. It’s also simple to add mileage after each occurrence, so I don’t end up forgetting it by the end of the month. The reminders work well, too, so I don’t forget to approve my time at the end of the week. I haven’t needed customer support yet, but it’s available via chat if I do.

I like BigTime for its easy ability to input projects and reference what I've worked on on what dates. I can quickly flip through the weeks and see what projects were worked on, which helps when I need to reference this for billing or in conversation.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Not something that BigTime can fix, but I do not have admin/editing capabilities as I am a project coordinator, so I have to request someone to make changes if there is a phase that doesn't exist yet or something about how we input time needs changed.

I use BigTime to input my timesheet for work, helping solve which projects I'm billing to and what project phase. I like the easy ability to input projects and quickly reference work dates for billing or conversations.

I like how easy it is to upload my expenses and time sheets with BigTime. The features are relatively easy to use, and I find uploading timesheets to be especially straightforward. I also appreciate that the company time stays the same each week, so I don't have to continually add a different row. Additionally, the initial setup was super easy—just adding all the different rows for my company and clients, and they stay there each week.

Sometimes the website times out, and if I make an entry and try to save it, it doesn't save. Then it refreshes, and I lose my work.

I like the overall general interface, both for its aesthetics and ease of use. For general use like doing weekly timesheets and expense reports I find that the layout is simple and easy to use. For my company’s setup, the dropdowns for both columns and rows are organized and user-friendly.
When I need to dive deeper into project details, the process in doing so is simple and BigTime makes it easy for me to review project bugets and client details.
I like that I can view weekly totals in my timesheet. It is insightful to know my billable hours vs. overhead.
I like/love the “clear blank rows” feature. It helps me start a clean, new week from scratch and removes a lot of the “noise” from the prior week.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

This is just something that I think could be slightly improved. I am someone that has several weekly timesheet entries (rows), and sometimes it can be burdensome to find a specific entry. It would be helpful if there was a “search bar” to view or apply to specific rows (“Project” row). This would help me ensure I am not making duplicate entries quicker.
