BigPanda is solving the problem of noisy, fragmented incident management by correlating alerts, adding context, and automating triage and response. For me, that means less time spent chasing false alarms, faster root-cause identification, and shorter incident resolution times.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

I like best about Bigpanda is it allows DevOps teams to work more effectively using Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence technologies by Handling enormous Volumes of Complex raw data, which helps the management to get real-time updates.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

The Support is not compelling and needs improvement if a Low or Medium support case is required. It takes 3 to 5 days to get a response. If we are escalating, they respond immediately.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigPanda has been a critical part of the journey of our enterprise's Monitoring center. Our minimal staff was stretched thin, and Bigpanda ensured we were successful. Open and easy integration Compare to other tools.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

1) BigPanda aggregates data from inbound tools such as Icinga, ThousandEyes, Prometheus, Jira, and others. BigPanda’s machine learning will correlate data into a small number of actionable incidents as they are detected in real-time before they escalate into outages.
2) BigPanda's integration with Outbound Tools such as Slack, WebEx, Teams, JIRA, ServiceNow, etc., automates and streamlines the incident response lifecycle across incident triage, ticketing, and notifications allowing accelerated remediation.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

1) BigPanda still lacks the feasibility to show the alert count in a particular incident which would be very helpful to NOC and IT Ops in some instances to determine the alert count.
2) BigPanda needs to improve on the Activity Tab front, wherein we can't currently filter between Comments, Incident Sharing and Incident status changes.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) BigPanda’s ability to eliminate IT noise, surface the root cause of problems, and automate manual incident management tasks improving MTTR across the organization.
2) BigPanda's Integrations with CMDB provide Event Enrichment details, improving the quality of data fed to BigPanda’s AI/ML algorithms. This leads to
 cleansing, preparing and enriching the alert data payload with rich operational and topological context.

Easy to integrate API connectors - easily integrate with various monitoring tools available in the environment
Alert correlation - Correlate the alerts against the CI/CD change request to quickly resolve the incidents
Noise reduction - Correlate alerts and reduce the duplication of alerts from multiple monitoring tools

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

Open box machine learning - even though it is said to allow customization on trained machine learning models, it is not effective as it seems. The control we have over the ML model is significantly less.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single pane of glass to view the incidents. Eliminates the need to log into multiple monitoring tools, thereby reducing duplicate incidents.
Correlating the incidents against the topology and change requests benefits in resolving the incidents faster.
Automation scripts and workflows can be triggered automatically to resolve the incidents from BigPanda console, thereby increasing productivity.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

The application for the most part on the surface extremely user-friendly. The analytics displayed are layed out in a way that could be shown to any executive and they should be able to clearly understand what the infographic means.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

I am a little let down by the machine learning aspect of the Big Panda. The correlations we're getting appear to just be a large pivot table labeled out line by line. The system just appears to be taking the most common entities and listing them i'm not seeing where the learning is coming in.

Big Panda is providing a singular point to funnel our alarm data for tracking incidents in a timely manner from a multitude of different integration sources into ours or our client's ticketing instances.

We love that BigPanda can easily integrate with our external software to consolidate data and incident notifications. Customer support is very responsive to our inquiries and support tickets.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

BigPanda delays or slows down a bit if the structure is integrated with extensive infrastructure and external tools. Other than these issues, everything is perfectly structured.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automated ITOPs linked with ServiceNow have created an automation that helps with our incident alert and the troubleshooting process we need to fix the issues. It enables us to find the problem directly.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

The BP team was very insightful and I like the way they organized the meeting.  The free drinks were a great way to give the meeting an extra level to help bridge the gap of not having everyone in a room together.  The cool thing about the meeting was that after the presentation was done some of the attendees stayed over and talked through some of their personal experiences which gave more insight about how BP is being used in different places.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

I think that the meetings could have a section for the attendees to have a good Q&A for their use cases at the end.  I think it was really valuable hearing from them plus the guest speakers.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing the user to choose better analytics/building their custom views allows better data to be pulled out of the application to generate KPIs in different angles for stakeholders.

The alert correlation function assists in combining similar warnings. Using an open integration hub, event management, and enrichment engine, it can store and act on information to increase profitability.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

The dashboard element of the tool could be improved, and it should contain a capability for querying the data. This wouldn't be the case if asset records weren't updated and the Operations had to allocate the alerts to support groups manually.

The correlations can be improved. We found no significant value. However, I was more interested in event analysis and event correlation. It is still good at the same event duplication, event processing, and ticket production.

BigPanda has the capability to observe and integrate suitable data in applications to accelerate workflows. It provides advanced intelligence that helps my team to plan and implement networking projects efficiently. The platform detects workflow downtime in the right time and provides solution for unlocking all the business potentials.

BigPanda has provided solutions to most of the solutions that we used to face in the enterprise. I have not experienced any problem that can slowdown our progress.

This platform has automated most business processes with the aim of providing reliable workflow environment. It has scaled down hiccups that affect workflows and provided solution to escalate drawbacks. It provides data analytics that helps departments to monitor performance and create reports based on targeted production.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

I like BigPanda because of its Automation capabilities, it has made it possible for us to automatically triage all incidents within our IT stack, intergration with our SOAR solution it automatically correlates all incidents, deploys relevant triage efforts and automatically employs required response and remediation actions. Because of BigPanda all incidents are identified, investigate and accurately responded to enhancing and strengthening our security while improving the genral health and performance of our applications.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

I am still learning how to navigate and utilize this product well, seeing that we started using it about 6months ago. but so far we haven't seen anything to dislike about BigPanda. It has delivered on all its product promise to us.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigPanda has enabled us to improve the security of our IT infrastructure by enabling us have a centralized correlated analysis of all incidents , it allows us to know the root cause of all incidents in a record shorter tikes, this allows us to respond quickly and accurately to all incidents thereby preventing outages and interruptions to our business operations. It has really reduced our repair expenses and duration which makes us more productive agile and effective in our business.

I like the tool for its modern user interface and because it makes it easy to monitor and analyse continuously. I like that it can be used for multiple things, like creating tickets and identifying problems immediately with preventative treatment.

My experience has been positive. However, the documentation needs to be improved a bit.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

Bigpanda is easily configurable and accessible with all its components.
The unified analytics allows us to customize the dashboard as to our needs
The UI is really simple hence easy to understand even by non users.
The instructions are also straight forward when setting up.
The diagnostic tools that will help monitor and analyze data in our systems to identify issues or anomalies then escalate them.

We haven't had any major issues with Bigpanda as it does what we want it to exactly and I'm sure it will even be better as we continue to use it.
The support team can be quicker in their response.

BigPanda monitors and analyses our data improving efficiency , we are able to gain insight with the real time analytics  and solve problems.Creates tracking alert for tickets issuing for issues so as to improve the resolving timelines.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

The BigPanda UI is very intuitive. It is very similar to your email inbox. Environments are similar to your email folders. The middle panel is like your inbox; the panel on the right contains the details for the selected event. I also like straightforward instructions to setup a new integration. They are continually working to make the solution better.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

I wish BigPanda had native parsing of emails without relying on an external lambda to do the work. Additional capabilities to show previous historical events would also be helpful. The tool has limited ML/AIOps capabilities. Hopefully this will continue to get better in the future.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigPanda helps us effectively consolidate our events from multiple sources into a single view. The ability to correlate events reduces the time required to understand the impact of an incident. Because BigPanda is not integrated with an Observability tool, it can better accommodate events from any source.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

BigPanda is platform and tool-agnostic; it's easy to integrate a huge variety of monitoring tools (including custom ones) with BigPanda. The flexibility within the tool to parse alerts and enrich them with additional data is extremely useful.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

Honestly, there is very little to dislike. The mobile experience as of August 2022 could use some work, but I know improvements to that are on the roadmap.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigPanda solves the problem of alerting from multiple tools arriving in inconsistent formats, as well as reducing inbox flooding by correlating alerts from different tools together into a single incident. It also eliminates a lot of manual labor (such as ticket creation) during outages so more time can be spent solving the issue,

BigPanda makes it easy for users to respond through its friendly and well-designed interface; I also liked the dashboard for current tickets and incident management in general.

It would be nice if a few things changed, like the report integration and the calendar view could be more customisable.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

BigPanda is highly customizable software and allows you to relatively easily configure incidents flow. The team instantly gets notified in case of incidents with all of the data needed as well as allows to track the issues in real-time.
As well BigPanda perfectly fits our tech stack.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

The software is used in the company every day, and the only thing that can be improved is documentation.
Before making a final decision about reporting software to be used we investigated other options, and BigPanda was the best option on the market.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigPanda solves incident management problems, by making it a much simpler and faster process. 
It's a good way to decrease data noise and it gives you the possibility for flexible configuration to react only to incidents requiring rapid actions.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

The coss monitoring source event correlation helps our organization cut down on the volume of tickets coming into ServiceNow. Additionally the new enrichment process that allows for granular tracking of how fields are enriched.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

One thing that our organization has been asking for and Big Panda is working to deliver is customized dashboards. Currently, the dashboards are created by BigPanda support. I know they are working on a revamp of data visualization, so this will be addressed soon.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem BigPanda is helping us solve is decreasing the volume of tickets. Additionally, our data science team is able to crunch the data coming out of BigPanda to deliver predictive analytics.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

BigPanda allows us to unify our incident and alert management. With the included automation, we can escalate issues to the relevant people in a timely fashion.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

Currently, BigPanda does not display HTML-based email alerts as well as extracting info from HTML-based email alerts. If this is resolved, we don't need to reconfigure existing alerting methods. And in some cases, 3rd party systems only send out HTML-based alerts.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigPanda is helping us solve the way we consume all of our alerts systems into a single system and allowing us to work more efficiently. The simplified workflow reduces wasted time.

BigPanda training for me was easy and the learning curve was very short and easy implementation process wothout technical assistant.

BigPanda resource and incident management tools are powerful and data import and data export across other third-party platforms is very simple.

Construction employees data management and the the easy reports creation and distribution through BigPanda features is excellent.

Great project data management tool and very easy to learn its functionalities and on my side there was nothing to dislike.

Excellent construction project workflow management, effective risk management and very reliable incident management package.

**What do you like best about BigPanda?**

I work on the ServiceNow side of things more than BigPanda side, but do work with it that way. I like how configurable BigPanda is on the ServiceNow side; with easy access to all the components you can modify them fairly easily. They also have a fairly robust API.

Their support team is also very helpful; we were able to get hands-on help the next day after having a non-critical incident.

**What do you dislike about BigPanda?**

There's nothing I dislike. I would just point out that ServiceNow is capable of doing most, if not all, of what BigPanda does, so it's redundant to pay for both apps. BigPanda is easier to configure than ServiceNow, but the latter also gives you control over finer details and more options. It really comes down to how custom you need things to be; if you're keeping things simple go with BigPanda, if you need complex workflows off of incidents then go with ServiceNow.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's essentially a monitoring tool that creates incidents for users to track, and in that regard it's pretty good. It's relatively simple to use as far as I can tell.

I like that at the beginning; you can request a demo that is complete because it offers a variety of metrics and good visualisations and helps us understand the data, and it is also easy to access all the features

The UI can be a bit confusing, and I see a lot of features in a single tab.

**What problems is BigPanda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a cost-effective solution that helps us improve operations. It provides ongoing access for teams to gain the insights they need from data and solve critical problems with real-time analytics.

I like that it uses machine learning and can quickly spot problems in the IT environment; its free demo is also great where I can test the platform before committing. Bigpanda has a support team to help us with anything and is also great at consolidating monitoring data in one place.

There is no problem at all with this product.

It helps us all the time in the inbox and reduces tickets. Also, we can analyze data, monitor, and create incidents, and users can track them easily.

I like its features and that it creates multiple alerts for similar issues and you can create a large number of tickets and the event manager is great too.

Currently, they do not have any faults, all very well with this great tool.

BigPanda streamlined approach in incident and alert management. The ability to integrate multiple platforms into one. This allows anyone to perform tasks more efficiently.

Dynamic alerts, HTML-based alerts, are not supported. Extracting useful information can be complex. Tutorials require medium to expert experience. Tag, Correlation wizards could help a lot in creating tagging alerts and configuring new incident correlation rules.

BigPanda solved the biggest issue of monitoring multiple alert sources and combining them into a single platform. This allowed us to pinpoint problems using minimal effort.

It has made it easier for our operations team to detect and manage IT incidents before they affect the users experience by it's ability to correlate events and automation capabilities which is powered by AlOps. 
They offer great support when needed to solve your queries.

They should consider customization capabilities in order to handle complex situations otherwise their support is great Incase of any questions.
The mobile application version can be disappointing at times hence can not be relied on that much.

It has great analytic functionalities that help our Tech team detect any anomalies in the system by correlation of events.

There is almost nothing to dislike as the platform has helped us in a greatly towards attaining our goals except for the minor problem where the mobile application needs some work to better deliver it's intended purpose.

Support interactions have been very poor. Currently, over a dozen support requests pending resolution and some of those are 90+ days old. This is the same pattern of behavior that led us to move to BigPanda.

We had to make several compromises in functionality during onboarding and submitted a few feature requests critical to our users. We have not had any movement on these features and trying to get status or ETA for our internal business planning has been completely missing.

Have not experience any major drawback except that it would be great if they are able to look into their mobile application which is a little bit frustrating at times.
