When the customers are happy, it will have an adverse impact on the business, and its selling performance. **What do you dislike about Better Business Bureau?** At times we can see fraudulent buyers/customers will also raise complaints on the BBB against the business, the BBB should have an option or checkpoint to filter those spam messages. **Recommendations to others considering Better Business Bureau:** If you people wanted to know if your business is heading in the right direction then we should definitely listen to the customers opinions and concerns, this portal solves that problem for us and it acts as a bridge between the customers and the sellers **What problems is Better Business Bureau solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using BBB daily to solve our customer's concerns and grievances; the key benefit of using BBB is it provides us an opportunity to correct our mistakes and make the customers happy with our resolution. ### 2. They give you a window to respond in and vet all responses before being posted. **What do you dislike about Better Business Bureau?** Their response time is not always great, their decisions are somewhat arbitrary. And many times a conclusion is made by the BBB without there actually being a resolution to false customer claims. Therefor an invalid complaint just lingers on your account. **Recommendations to others considering Better Business Bureau:** Use BBB for what its worth, aside from the accreditation there is not much else offed. Be sure to take advantage of your BBB rep and make sure to respond to any and all complaints in a timely manner **What problems is Better Business Bureau solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving issues that revolve around customer satisfaction and being able to respond and learn from any issues that they are raising. ### 3. They help settle disputes between consumers and business owners, and is a creditworthy tool for consumers to know if a business' service or sale item is worth their time. **What do you dislike about Better Business Bureau?** Settling disputes between consumers and the business can sometimes result in limbo. Customers get frustrated and end up reviewing the business in question elsewhere, usually in a negative light, and when that happens the situation/complaint almost never gets resolved. **Recommendations to others considering Better Business Bureau:** Do what is necessary to earn and maintain the seal. If customers see you have it, your website looks better, and your business is more trustworthy. If you choose to not work towards the seal, monitor your web traffic closely and utilize Google's Analytics tools to keep track of your business' online prescence. **What problems is Better Business Bureau solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used the BBB service to identify a business' practices on behalf of a client. The business' rating was poor, and knowing that the seal was not on the business' website was consolation. I don't know if the BBB is going to do something about businesses who receieve C or D grades, but I hope they do do something about them. ### 4. They assume that they are getting a real product as opposed to a scam wanting to take your money. **What do you dislike about Better Business Bureau?** I don't like that it seems a little too easy for someone to sign up saying they are a legitimate business because of a front while being a poor business that rips people off. I had an experience where a friend saw the logo on a Barbizon website and signed up for the services they offered but they did not deliver on their promises. That is my only reason there is a deduction in the score. While I enjoyed the ease of getting my stuff together, maybe there should be more of an investigation to make sure the services are not worded in a tricky way to get others to spend money on a undeliverable promise. **Recommendations to others considering Better Business Bureau:** I think BBB is a great idea and helps others have a good idea of what they are getting into. Aside from the Barbizon experience, I view BBB as a trusted sign and always look for it on websites that I am looking to purchase from. **What problems is Better Business Bureau solving and how is that benefiting you?** From a small business point of view, it helps others that may have never heard of my business feel like they can trust me and my services and therefore leading to their use of my business as opposed to a big box name. ### 5. It's free to use assuming you have a BB account. And it is very simple to implement. **Recommendations to others considering Better Business Bureau:** If you have the need then do it. It is free and easy. You have options to select the color, size and layout of the seal that best compliments your website. You can promote your BBB rating by using it. The dynamic seal automatically links to your business review so customers can verify your BBB accreditation.
