**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

BenchmarkONE is a solid all-in-one CRM and marketing automation tool, especially well-suited for small businesses and agencies. It combines CRM, email marketing, and marketing automation into a single, user-friendly platform that requires no technical expertise most users are up and running within a few hours. Users consistently praise its intuitive interface, robust email marketing features, and highly responsive customer support, though it can run slow at times and lacks a few features like click-to-call and text messaging. With paid plans starting at $69 and a solid free tier available, it offers strong value for the price  making it a smart choice if you want simplicity and functionality without breaking the bank.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

The main complaints I have  are technical glitches particularly around video inclusion, data import, and creating and formatting new emails along with the system becoming noticeably slow at times. It also lacks some features users expect, like click-to-call, text messaging, and the ability to add deals directly from the Gmail sidebar. For growing businesses, the customization constraints can become frustrating, and the platform may not scale well enough for larger or more complex operations.

BenchmarkONE makes it easy to disseminate data, create more targeted emails using tags, and set up drip marketing campaigns with minimal effort. By integrating CRM and marketing automation in a single platform, it enhances efficiency enabling users to build online forms, segment contacts, and engage prospects with relevant follow-ups seamlessly. Marketing campaigns can essentially be put on autopilot, freeing teams up to focus on sales and other priorities, while new leads from any platform are redirected to the dashboard in real time for immediate follow-up. For small businesses especially, this means spending less time juggling multiple tools and more time actually closing deals.

Easy to use and track contacts. Good product that hasn't kept up with technology advances.

It's email sending platform blew up my main email address resulting in most all emails ending up in spam. Also had an impact on my direct office phone line ID becoming potential spam.

**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

BenchmarkONE provides us the liberty to create any type of automation just with a few clicks. Its interface allows us to segment all our contacts properly so that we can organize our client interactions & improve our deliverables. We can also map our customer journey entirely so that we recognize what would be required to promote customer satisfaction & build business solutions. Integration with other tools also is comfortable & we feel satisfied with its automation features, landing pages and email campaigns for meeting our marketing goals.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

Nothing in particular to dislike about BenchmarkONE's support for our retail organization. We are impressed with the deep insights and forecast offered based on customer preferences, products and services which need more attention. We also feel good about its personalizing feature for sale in a single pane of glass, which effectively simplifies list creation for all our targeted marketing conversations.

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had large requirements to manage our customers through a robust CRM tool and BenchmarkONE serves the requirements. Its email builder is helpful as it's customizable & we can also create templates that are frequently used for our business. All its utilities are streamlined properly so we never felt any difficulties in flipping back and forth between tons of email sequences on a daily basis. We can also define metrics for sending SMS or push notifications via its automation functionalities. We also seamlessly integrate BenchmarkOne with Zapier which is our external SMS system for delivering notifications. For marketing automation, we make use of its trigger events functionality so that we manage all prospects of our customers without missing anything crucial for our sales.

**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

The notification feature of this platform is accurate and fast. The customer support system is responsive as compared to other applications. E-mails can be put by drag and drop feature which is easy to use. It is quite affordable for many users. It attracts many users’ by offering rich features. for the users as it cost low and offers all the new and updated features in a single place with just one click.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

It should be users’ choice and preference to make edits and campaigns. There is no mobile application for this platform at this time. Users cannot delete the tags and cannot merge the contacts as per their preference.

The interface is fast, simple and flexible. It is extensible and easy to use and understand. It has several built-in features. The integration is updating with time. It is a reliable platform.

The sorting and ability to personalize your columns on your views.  The filters are pretty thorough and aids in retrieving the right information that you are looking for.

not being able to do any adhoc reports in the software

**Recommendations to others considering BenchmarkONE:**

If you are looking for a place to hold all your contacts, companies, contracts, deals and stats, BenchmarkOne will work for you.  If you need to do email campaigns or promotions, it is very easy to select your audience and set up email templates and campaigns as well.  I have trained several new users at my place of employment, who have never used a CRM before, and it was very easy to explain.

WE are just now getting into segmenting them and identifying the service line contracts with each contact/company - very easy to customize the forms
I think the performance will increase once this project is completed

**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

Benchmark one does a beautiful job of helping automate your email prospecting.  The dashboard helps track opens so you are able to make targeted phone calls following up to your emails.  IT helps create a targeted approached to contacting customers!

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

The new prvacy settings to apple made it harder to track specific prospect's open rates.  Initially I was worried that this would cause a more significant issue; however, it has not been too impactful.

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benchmark one helps me maximize my time during the day while prospecting.  It has allowed me to spend more time going after bigger and more qualified leads instead of chasing ghosts.

Email System, CRM and Marketing Automation all in one place. Love the ability to create forms. The interface is very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

It would be helpful if you could assign multiple contacts (email addresses) to multiple companies. Would also love the ability to have more marketing automation options, such as if someone doesn't open and email, then send them another email. I also have been having issues with bot activity and not being able to tell if someone actually opened or clicked on an email.

**Recommendations to others considering BenchmarkONE:**

Very good program for the price point. I don't think any other company offers all that Benchmark does at this price point.

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving a lot of time by streamlining our email process. Also saving time, not wasting time on prospects who are not interested. Having three different platforms (CRM, Email and Marketing Automation) made contact list maintenance a disaster. This solves that issue by housing everything in one place.

We have only had BMO for three weeks.  We have just started to see all it can do for our small non-profit.  We have yet to integrate any of our other software programs such as Quickbooks etc.

Everything is tailored for sales and potential sales that someone can make.

**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

My favourite thing about Hatchbuck is the support. I have gone through the initial onboarding, the videos, phone support, email support, and now chat support. I've always gotten an immediate response!  The other thing I love about Hatch is its simplicity. It's very easy to navigate and was easy to train my team to use it.

They have also taken our feedback and implemented new changes, which have been very helpful for our growing team.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

While Hatch is a great CRM, I'd like to see a few usability and features be added eventually. I don't like that I have to click 3-4 times to send an email out (I understand why its like this but it would be great to have an option to just send) - I'd like better views (filters)  and be able to save my filter views with whatever columns I choose (It doesn't stick so I have to change it every time) - I'd like to be able to view better reporting - and I have a few other ideas if someone would like contact me to go over. 

**Recommendations to others considering BenchmarkONE:**

Great for marketing automation - great support. Anytime you have a question or need help, you will receive that ASAP! :)

The CRM is good for basic needs, organizing, there are a lot of customizations available to meet your needs.

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were just looking for a more affordable, easy to use CRM, which Hatch has become that for us. The benefits we have are that it's simple to use and we can now reconfigure how we organize our sales team given the tools within Hatch. 

We find it easy to onboard new team members and easily organize leads among the team.

I started when BenchmarkOne was Hatchbuck, and I have been consistently amazed by the high level of customer support.

I am evaluating options currently because mass email as a whole is not proving to be a productive form of communication for us.

Love the drop and drag design, and the contacts management. That's helped us keep things in one place.

I love the automation! It improves my daily reach!  It shows me the insights on who opened and what they looked at which lets me know who to follow up with a phone call.  I also utilize it to manage my dealflow and keep notes.  It helps keep me organized and methodical with my approach!

Sometimes your email goes to spam.  If a company has a good spam filter the contact will sometimes not see my email.

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me more efficiently turn cold calls into warm calls.  I was an old school smile and dial guy.  Now I have more of an idea and what to talk about since I am given that intel from the initial email.

It also helps me reach specific subsets of contacts easily and quickly with industry specific messaging.  It gives me more time to prospect without spending a ton of time getting organized!

**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

Support team is very responsive and nice. It's a relatively complex product with a lot of features and they are always great about looking into things.
I also like that it's both marketing and CRM in one, so you don't need to have two solutions to track and manage the data.
Their integrations with our own website (API) is continuously getting better so that we have real-time updates on it.
The campaigns (email, text, call, task, etc.) are awesome

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

I wish it had the following features:
(1) Click to call -- where you could call right out of the tool and then it records those messages. 
(2) Text messaging - where you could text directly from in the app.
(3) Analytics -- would like to be able to customize with a sales dashboard. We don't use the DEALS feature so it's a bit clunky.

I have used Hatchbuck (now BenchmarkONE) for 7+ years. The tool has everything you need for email marketing, CRM, sales pipeline management and more. As compared to other companies out there with similar capabilities, their value is incredible!

Can't say much that I dislike. I think this system rocks!

BenchmarkOne is an awesome tool. It has a lot of "pack" to the "punch" and for a very reasonable price. It is right up there in capability as some of the tools that cost $1000/mo+. 

I have used this tool for 5+ years and highly recommend it to our clients for our agency.

In our company, since we started with the BenchmarkONE test, we have been satisfied since it has provided us with tools that help us with the management of campaigns and sales and marketing workflows thanks to its segmentation, evaluation of potential clients and visitor tracking of the web offers us the best alternatives for the market.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

Our work team received some complaints from clients since not all of them manage to cancel their subscription effectively and consequently they are supplied in the same way messages or emails from marketing campaigns which can get them upset and complain. On the other hand, it has small flaws like the HTML platform.

**Recommendations to others considering BenchmarkONE:**

Our experience was very satisfactory when using this software within our work system as it has an incredible facility to create email campaigns based on user interactions, through reference reporting panels that are very fast; besides that its cost of $ 39 makes it a very considerable option above other software.

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Something that our team needed was to keep track of the interactions made by clients with respect to our campaigns, for this BenchmarkONE offers us the solution since it gives us a score with respect to said interactions that we need, such as reading the emails, visiting the website, downloading documents, among other things that made it easier for us to know which areas were the most frequented and thus not lose sight of and make improvements to those less visited.

I don't like that sometimes it crashes - I feel like there may be too many people using it at one time when this happens.

The automation is easy and mostly intuitive in terms of getting contacts into different flows. I understand my prospect universe in a very detailed way.

I wish there were multiple angles to get an email campaign started (not just going through the contact first).

Take your time learning it before you dive right in.  I say this because there are certain features you'd wish you utilized (such as tagging and link automation) that you can't necessarily go back and fix easily or in an automated fashion.

Mostly CRM problems are being addressed by their tagging feature.  I can easily identify certain contacts by multiple tags to narrow down or broaden who exactly I want to contact about what specific item.

We enjoy the combination of email campaign creation and tracking within the CRM.  Plus, we love the online forms and landing pages to help create content and help create engagement in our products and services

The reports are canned and can be filtered, but it would be great to have a report writer.

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We combined our contact management email system and our email marketing system into one with Benchmark.  We have been able to create content easily and market to our contacts in one system.  The system can provide engagement levels for my team to use to prioritize who to call.  Our contact engagement has increased and it has resulted in more sales.

I love how easy it is to use.  I've tried a bunch of other CRM's and BenchmarkONE is by far the easiest and best value I have found.

The only dislike I'd say I have is with my e-commerce client, I wish there was a way we could incorporate abandoned cart emails.

**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

I'm a current user of Benchmark One (aka Hatchbuck). I love having everything in one place and being able to track contact activities. The automation functionalities are great. This is an awesome Salesforce alternative at an incredibly affordable price point. There is always a learning curve with new technology and while you may run into internal challenges with change management, Hatchbuck is likable.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

As a current user, I'm a little bit worried about changes now that they've changed names. We are heavily invested in our CRM (as one should be!) and losing features/functionalities would impact the way my very small team of two operates on a day-to-day basis.

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Hatchbuck we wouldn't have a CRM. As a small business, we rely on affordable software to keep our team equipped to get the job done. We've gotten so many benefits out of this tool. As we've incorporated outbound sales into our day-to-day, we've found it very easy to manage new contacts, manage meetings and follow-up tasks. There's never a question of who's responsible for what.

Sending and receiving emails could be easier to use and the Dashboard could show details to have more of an instant update instead of having to go into those specific contact profiles. The task feature would be best if it integrated with something like Microsoft Teams tasks.

The appearance of eblasts on a Windows desktop has some formatting issues showing block outlines.  We also had delivery issues with eblasts going to spam folders.  It got resolved for the most part but required some technical expertise.

**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

It's unusual that doing things in business turns out better than you expected. For my team at HealthEconomics.Com, this was the result of our first year experience with Hatchbuck! The business need we had was how to be better at marketing and sales (defined as: more targeted, better follow-up, more success). The solution was Hatchbuck. The result was 13% improvement in sales in our first year of Hatchbuck. Now, every dollar of that 13% growth is due to Hatchbuck - that just wouldn't be fair to my awesome sales people :-) - but it has indeed helped us target, follow-up more successfully, and have more success with our hundreds of customers. And probably most importantly, my sales team and I all feel in better control of our business. The whole group at Hatchbuck is on our side to be successful. We are definitely renewing for next year. The cost of the software service is manageable for our small business and it's easy to learn.

I'd like a better interface when adding tags without having to go to the Systems settings. I'd like a cheat sheet that defines a tag when you mouse over it (like a "comment" field or a note in Microsoft Word/Excel.

Absolutely lovely interface. I love the design and feel. When I have to submit a ticket for help the response time is extraordinary. I feel like it is a small company and I'm their only client. I feel like I am being listened to – and the changes they implement are in the user's best interests – and seem to be really well thought out. I also have to say the price point is an absolute value. I feel like I am getting a lot more bang for my buck with Hatchbuck.

Lack of a complete white label makes the software less desirable as an agency. Sometimes slow to resolve issues with branding or other things that are not already on their dev timeline.

None really it works fine for what it is. There are other more expensive solutions out there that offer more features but if you need something for lead management, basic email automation, email blasts, etc. Hatchbuck does fine at a reasonable price point.

The CRM gives us the ability to track website visits and create automated actions around them, send out email campaigns, etc. It also allows us to give our clients a more structured sales process and ensure they are able to close more leads.

Hatchbuck gives us a fully-functioning CRM tool so that we can seamlessly integrate activities between sales and marketing as well as between multiple departments within the organization. With the ability to automate many sales and marketing functions based on trigger events, we can very efficiently and focus on keeping the channels of communication open with our clients and prospects. The ability to design custom emails, and now landing pages and pop-up ads (beta at this time) has further improved our tracking of our prospects' behavior and interests.

I enjoy using Hatchbuck because it is fairly user friendly but also has a ton of helpful features and capabilities. You can categorize contacts in many different ways, which is great for organizational purposes. Hatchbuck also keeps detailed statistics on every email you send out with it, and has a fantastic email builder with templates and coding options.The new features with Pop-Ups and Landing pages are fantastic, and offer even more options for our company to expand our reach and contact base.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

Sometimes the amount of features available is overwhelming and confusing, but there are several videos and articles that help remedy this issue. There are a few aspects to the software that still need some work. In the email builder, is is hard to achieve some specific results, and occasionally, image quality is depleted. The new Pop-Ups and Landing pages feature is very helpful and unique, but could use more options for customization. We had wanted to put our logo in a Pop-Up, but it was very difficult to get the right, placement and size for the image. The spam filters for Hatchbuck are also a little lack luster. We get a lot of spam contacts and it is very hard to get genuine people to sign up for things like newsletters,

I love how each client has a profile dashboard.  It helps to keep things very organized.  Also, the ability to track the journey of a client's engagement with my website really helps me to know what information that interests them. 

Additionally, I love the task manager feature.   I can set specific tasks that are related to specific clients, and then get reminders sent to me for follow up. 

You will find that a client profile area has the ability to upload documents to a profile.  This feature is great if you work with contracts or photographs.



There are really so many features that I love, that there too many to list.     Hatchbuck really is a great value for the fee, and what is most important for any product is the support.  

They have always been there for me and my business.   

I would highly recommend them and do!

Currently, I miss having real-time chat support and hope that they go back to that.   It's currently set to leaving a message, however, the support has been very good for the whole time I've been a client.

I hadn't much experience with this type of software, but Hatchbuck is very straight forward and easy to learn.  I feel every time I go on there I pick up a few new skills.  Being able to attach tasks to the emails being sent out, and being able to track the clicks per email has been SUPER helpful!  I can say my numbers would not be what they are without this program!

I've had some issues at times, loading lead lists.  The software gives feedback as to how many were good, and bad, and why.  Sometimes I don't understand what it's telling me, but I believe it's something that I will sort out with time.

Look at other CRMs out there.  They are all different and provide different services.  There are many good ones.  I feel this one is very good.  I would recommend it first to anyone looking at this type of program.  Based on how I was able to pick it up and utilize it effectively right away, I know it's got to be easy to use.

Being able to reach out to all of my prospects at the same time with one click is wonderful!!  I spend a block of time on the weekend prepping it, and throughout the week it sends out the content as I planned. I've tried to use CRM services in the past, with limited success.  I've been at a new job for a few months now, and we utilize Hatchbuck.  With just a few tips from my colleague and I was off and going.  Since then, I've been able to sort out quite a few tools that work with it, on my own, as well.  The controls are intuitive and easy to use.  There are many additional tasks you can take advantage of within your email templates that allow you to expedite the process of tracking email distribution, and strategically reach out to prospects.

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

Some of the feedback the software provides can be a little unclear.  Early on, when it would give me messages about certain contacts not uploading, I could not sort out what the issue was.  Since then I've spoken with customer service a few times, always with positive results in the end.

**Recommendations to others considering BenchmarkONE:**

I recommend that when you are shopping for a CRM software, that you look at all the options and compare.  Hatchbuck is a full featured software, and provides all the services I need to get the job done.

Follow up with prospects after you have lost their initial attention can be difficult.  Hatchbuck allows you to stay at the forefront of their mind, and with the unsubscribe function at the prospect's ready, they can decide when they will stop receiving such outreach.  As a user you don't have to manually remove them, the software takes care of it for you, so you don't continue to bother folks that are not interested.

Email marketing capabilities are great, and undoubtedly one of the highlights of Hatchbuck, it offers numerous customization options for editing your marketing campaign emails, allowing your company to create the email exactly as you wish. But if you don't understand code and editing, Hatchbuck offers a plethora of ready-made templates, just choose which one to use.

Slow servers, this was the main problem I faced with using Hatchbuck, sometimes when trying to do some updating or altering some work we had problem with slow servers which made the task a bit frustrating and certainly more laborious.

Hatchbuck is certainly a good choice for anyone looking to improve marketing in your business, the automation it enables is excellent and email marketing is excellent and will surely help your business gain new customers.

Hatchbuck was implemented in our company to improve our marketing campaigns and to help prospect new customers, which he accomplished very well. Hatchbuck helps us keep in touch with our regular customers and also prospect new customers thanks With the marketing tools offered, it is much easier to sell a product to an already interested customer, and Hatchbuck does it very well, making it easy for our sales teams to work, and the salesperson just has to keep the customer interested and get them to do it. negotiating with our company and thus finalizing the work that was started by Hatchbuck.

There are not many downsides, but I would like to see some further filtering functions. We work in an environment where we are calling nation-wide and it is very troublesome to look at time zones individually before each call. It would be very helpful to filter new contacts by time zones.

Much more efficient than the previous platform we were using. I like the contact score and filtering options that are available to segment our contacts. It allows us to create personalized communication. I am a big fan of the user interface and the way that the platform operates. It is really easy to use and onboard additional team members. The support and check ins that we have received from the team at Hatchbuck has also been really great! 

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

When the platform is down and we are unable to access our contacts or use the system. Additionally, there are often times we import data and match it to a field but the data doesn't come into the platform. I would also like to develop better, more customized, automated reports. This would be awesome to have something that was sent to my email every Thursday or Friday to report to managers. It might just be that I haven't looked into the reporting feature enough.

I would like to use more features but haven' worked out the best way to do so.

Connecting the dots on our sales outreach to develop stronger, more personalized partnerships. The platform has streamlined the outreach process for all of our University partners. We are now able to move contacts from a prospect through to a nurtured lead and then create tags and groups to categorize contacts.

The main question should be what don't I dislike? For a "CRM & Email Marketing" tool, Hatchbuck doesn't even come close to having the basics.
* Menus and UIs are sometimes incredibly hard to see because of how light EVERYTHING is (even for those with 20/20 vision)
* Doesn't have reoccurring tasks for sales reps (our CRM from 1998 had that!)
* Doesn't let you select a primary contact without creating a custom field yourself (again, 1998 CRM had that)
* Can't even add a contact on the mobile site - and having a mobile site for our outsides sales reps was the #1 REASON we went with Hatchbuck
* Reports are incredibly lackluster; some let you actually click into the report to see what contacts are on a campaign, who clicked, etc, but not all. It's a complete guessing game on what reports are ACTUALLY useful
* Can't sort by user tasks from the contact or company screen
* Very very VERY contact and B2C focused. We can do purchases, but can't customize anything in that space. Absolute dealbreaker for us as a B2B service company
* Incredibly buggy email and form builders. Just earlier my form refused to delete a field I tried to get rid of. Then it refused to edit a field I wanted to keep and deleted it!
* Forms aren't mobile-friendly, especially if embedding into a webpage
* Doesn't let you handle email preferences without designing it yourself or using a different problem.

The last one with email preferences was the last straw for me. You can't handle opt-downs, so if anything hits Unsubscribe it blanket unsubs them from EVERYTHING and you can never email them again. No option if they want to unsubscribe from all emails or only select lists. Every email marketing platform I've ever used has had that functionality for at LEAST the past 10 years.

And if you want to create a form or use a system that CAN handle opt-downs and proper best practice opt-ins/opt-outs? Sucks, can't change the unsubscribe link in any of your Hatchbuck emails. 

The CRM side is incredibly underpowered and almost useless to our team, and the email marketing is "meh" at best. I don't know how Hatchbuck could ever consider more advanced drip-emails (which doesn't exist for them by the way - if you want a time delay between campaigns starting, for example, you have to manually calculate when you want the email to send. No inserting "wait 3 days." No real paths to say "if this then this" like drip emails are supposed to work.

I don't ever see Hatchbuck thinking about adding features like dynamic content and advanced segmentation - which are available in similar tools for the same or slightly LESS of a price. 

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem we attempted to solve was to give our sales team a better, more modern CRM and email marketing system that they can take on the road with them and not have to login to a clunky old license-based system. 

Hatchbuck somehow gave us a downgrade from our old system from 1998. Absolutely no benefits.

**What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?**

Hatchbuck has the features that CSA needs to track and manage our sales leads. We like the ability to score and then focus on the leads with the most potential. We get leads from multiple sources and Hatchbuck supports our sales process very effectively. The email marketing function is very robust. We also like the price - very affordable for a startup company.  

**What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?**

There is a learning curve to most effectively use the system, but Hatchbuck has a phased onboarding process and they were always available for our questions. 

**What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improved management and follow-up of sales leads.
