## About Beeceptor
Beeceptor is an AI-powered API and Service virtualization platform that helps you eliminate dependencies, accelerate testing, and deliver software faster. Instead of waiting for backend services, third-party APIs, partner systems, or test environments, your teams can instantly create realistic virtual services and continue independently. Designed for QA engineers, SDETs, developers, architects, platform teams, solution engineers, and enterprise organizations, Beeceptor combines AI-assisted service creation, real-time traffic inspection, and enterprise-grade governance into a single platform that is easy to adopt and delivers value within minutes. You can connect it to agentic frameworks like Claude, GPT, Copilot, etc. ## Build virtual services in a few seconds. Traditional service virtualization tools often require specialized skills, lengthy setup cycles, and dedicated teams. Beeceptor takes a different approach. You can generate virtual services from OpenAPI specifications, Swagger files, GraphQL schemas, SOAP/WSDL definitions, Postman collections, sample requests and responses, or recorded API traffic in under 60 seconds. The AI automatically generates endpoints, mock responses, realistic test data, request validation rules, and service behaviors, dramatically reducing setup effort. ## Eliminate dependencies and enable shift-left testing Most often software delivery delays are caused by unavailable services, unstable test environments, vendor sandboxes, API rate limits, or dependencies on other teams. These small issues build up, and cause the delivery date to be pushed. Beeceptor allows teams to virtualize external dependencies, build isolated test environments, so your team work independently. ## Common use cases include: \* API and contract-first development \* Shift-left testing and quality engineering \* Frontend and mobile development before backend completion \* Integration and end-to-end testing \* Test suite integration, CI/CD automation, \* Partner and vendor sandbox environments \* Legacy system simulation \* Microservices testing \* Performance, chaos and resilience testing \* Developer onboarding and training environments ## AI-powered service virtualization Beeceptor uses AI natively to accelerate the creation and maintenance of mock/virtual services. Here are the top features \* Generate mock APIs from specifications and schemas. Upload Swagger, WSDL, GraphQL, gRPC, Postman, specs. \* Create realistic test data automatically from the context, field names, description, etc \* Use AI to fix human errors, in the context. \* Build OpenAPI spec from the recorded production traffic. \* Detect contract drifts in the implementation and get notified about it. ## Comprehensive protocol support Beeceptor supports modern API ecosystems and enterprise integration patterns, including: \* REST APIs \* OpenAPI and Swagger \* GraphQL \* SOAP and WSDL services \* Webhooks \* Web-socket \* Server-Sent Events (SSE) \* CRUD APIs - backed with a database. \* Mutual TLS (mTLS) \* HTTP-based enterprise integrations ## Dynamic and stateful service simulation Beyond simple static mocks, Beeceptor supports advanced service virtualization scenarios including the following. \* Stateful workflows \* Multi-step transactions \* Session-aware interactions \* Conditional responses \* Dynamic payload generation \* Request correlation \* Delays and latency conditions \* Network failures and error scenarios \* Rate limiting and throttling behavior \* Edge-case and negative-path testing ## Real-time visibility and traffic recording Beeceptor provides real-time visibility into API traffic as requests occur. This is best in the class, request response interception, so you can inspect requests, validate payloads, debug integrations, and identify issues without requiring access to upstream systems. ## Reduce infrastructure and API costs Their engineering rely on expensive third-party APIs, vendor sandboxes, or shared environments that incur usage costs and operational overhead. A lot of Beeceptor customers save cost. Beeceptor helps reduce: \* Third-party API consumption costs \* Usage-based API charges \* Vendor sandbox limitations \* Environment maintenance effort \* Infrastructure provisioning requirements \* Delays caused by shared testing resources ## Enterprise-ready by design Beeceptor is built for enterprise adoption and large-scale engineering organizations. Enterprise capabilities include: \* Single Sign-On (SSO) \* SAML integration \* Role-based access control \* Audit logs \* Governance and approval workflows \* IP allowlists and access controls \* Sensitive data masking in HTTP headers and payload. \* Private cloud deployment, On-premises deployment \* Dedicated infrastructure options \* Unlimited-scale enterprise usage ## Faster time-to-value The biggest advantage of Beeceptor is speed. You move from an API specification, sample payload, or recorded traffic to a fully functional virtual service in minutes. No specialized virtualization expertise is required. No infrastructure needs to be provisioned. No dependency teams need to be involved. The result is faster releases, better test coverage, reduced integration risk, lower operational costs, and a more dependency-free engineering culture.

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

There are several points I am gladly to share about Beeceptor:

1. The UI UX is very intuitive, I can quickly set up an endpoint or a CRUD endpoint to test my FE application in minutes.

2. The GET endpoint supports bulk import so I can quickly import an array of objects into the mock response data.

3. There is an AI-integrated section right into the platform so that I can ask directly how to configure a complex endpoint. The response answer can point me directly to the Endpoint Editor so that I can continue the configuration without opening 2 tabs, which is very convenient and thoughtful in my perspective. Very good point about this.

4. Beeceptor supports a lot of options to dynamically configure the request, response. This is coupled with detailed documentations and examples.

5. The customer support chat is what I love most, the team supports me very well in details and answered with dedication to every questions of me. They even resolved a minor issue for me very quickly and I can verify it work properly.

6. The integration is very easy, just copy and paste into my project.

7. They are generous to offer 10-day Team plan so that I can play around myself to decide if I want to continue further.

8. The pricing plan suggests very detailed options.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit C. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

The Beeceptor app is very intuitive and easy to use, the UX is great and the UI feels natural. It was rather easy to integrate with it and implement the usage of it. The mocking of endpoints is easy to configure and use, everything is understandable and runs smoothly. I really liked the local tunnel aswell, letting you switch from local api to mock api in just seconds, which is great for my specific use-case.
Overall this is a very good application that excels in what it does. Great work!

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Not really a downside but more of a wanted feature, being able to duplicate rules would be really nice and would help if you have a similar endpoint with small changes, also having a specific field for accepted query params would be very useful, other than that I did not find any downsides or dislikes.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can quickly create a mock API and let other services consume it instead of my local api which might be down or unavailable.

  ### 11. Very Easy-to-Use UI with Great Customer Support

  ### 12. Powerful and easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

It's very simple to setup up some API endpoints, allowing us to create working prototypes even before the backend team started working on the project. It supports adding delays and random data like UUIDs in responses to help mitigating the limitations of being a stateless API mock.

There're tons of utility functions to get params, create dynamic IDs and even persist state across calls. Whatever you need to receive in your app/webapp, it can probably be returned from Beeceptor.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The "Response Header" and "Response Body" inputs are not very good when writing JSON, I find myself writing the responses in VSCode so that they are properly formatted and then pasting them there, it'd be great to have a better JSON editor in the mocking rules editor directly.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can work on prototypes so that our managers review and discuss things related to the UI before the backend team started working on the project. If any flow needs to be changed, we just need to change a MOCK instead of rewriting the real APIs

  ### 13. Effortless Mocking and Inspection with Beeceptor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isha .

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

The ability to create APIs without a live backend is particularly beneficial, as it accelerates development and integrates seamlessly with tools like Postman, saving a lot of time in testing. I find the real-time request inspection feature invaluable for debugging, along with custom mock responses and effortless webhook debugging, all of which enhance my workflow significantly. Beeceptor's capability to mock and inspect webhooks efficiently has been a game changer for my projects.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

None as of now .

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Beeceptor allows me to create APIs and inspect webhooks without a live backend, enhancing workflow and speeding up development by saving time and enabling effortless debugging.

  ### 14. Great, good compliment to Postman

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Beeceptor is ridiculously fast to set up — you can create a mock endpoint in under a minute. I love that it doesn’t require installs or complicated configs. The request inspection dashboard is clean and makes it super easy to debug headers, payloads, and webhooks. For quick prototyping and testing, it’s a lifesaver.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

It’s not meant for very complex API simulations. If you need stateful mocks or large-scale load/performance testing, you’ll hit limits quickly. Also, free plan quotas are fine for small projects, but teams doing heavy testing will need to upgrade.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps my team test front-end flows and third-party integrations before the backend is ready. We’ve also used it to debug webhooks from external services without bothering backend engineers. This has sped up development cycles and reduced bottlenecks between front-end and QA.

  ### 15. Very convenient and easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

I use Beeceptor to assist our customers when they are integrating our API. Being able to set up endpoints, rules, and replicate what our customers encounter when integrating is invaluable for troubleshooting. It gives me a tool to deliver a higher standard of service than I would be able to do without Beeceptor. Instead of just referring the customer to our documentation, I can show in "real time" what happens if they do X instead of Y.
If you encounter any issues, the customer support is there to help either via chat or via email in no time.
To sum it up, it's a very helpful tool that helps me to help our customers more efficiently and professionally!

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

I don't have any dislikes tbh. Sure, I wish it would be free to use unlimited for everyone, but that isn't really a dislike, that's just a utopia since we all have to make money somehow :)

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to send and respond to requests without having to set up a "physical" environment.

  ### 16. Delivers what's expected in a simple and easy way

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian S. | Back-end Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

How easy it is to set up and use. I mostly use it to enable a local tunnel, allowing me to test my development. It took me a minute to set it up, then I use it in seconds every time I need it.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The initial payment process was confusing. The system didn't recognize my successful payment, which appears to be a known issue based on a warning message I received. Contacted customer support, and in a few minutes, they fixed it.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I rely on third-party system interactions that need my services to be connected to the internet. Beceptor allows me to make my services available on the internet while still in debug mode for testing, corrections, and demos.

  ### 17. Essential Tool for Effortless API Mocking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renato B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Beeceptor makes it very easy to visualize incoming HTTP requests, as well as to generate synthetic HTTP responses based on a comprehensive rule set. Make the development feedback loop very fast when the application sends HTTP requests and/or reacts on responses.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Nothing I really dislike. I miss being able to programmatically set my synthetic HTTP endpoints and responses. It'd be interesting if, instead of using the browser UI, I could set everything from the command line, perhaps using a JSON or yaml configuration file. Would make it easier to reproduce the creation of mock servers, reuse them in testing or CI/CD environments, and also to share them across a development team.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it simple to visualize how my application is sending HTTP requests, and to manually test different application behaviors depending on HTTP responses.

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

It's convenient that they provide documentation as a guide.

The API they offer provides excellent extensibility.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The features are too segregated by license types.

It's inconvenient that hooks are triggered just by entering a page.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has enabled us to perform automated tests to verify if our developed webhook functionality is working correctly.

We appreciate being able to collect and view the received hooks as a log.

  ### 27. Easy, fast and reliable tool for creating endpoints

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JM C. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

I'm not expert at programming, but it was easy enought to start in minutes.

The reliability and flexibility for creating different use cases and some dynamic responses was exactly what I needed

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The version I was using didn't have the posibility of exporting and saving configurations. I guess they have that feature in the more expensive versiones

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating different scenarios for testing integratinos

  ### 28. Simple and easy to setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Fits our use case nicely, where we need to assign custom weighted responses to the same HTTP request. It's easy to set this up and see a history of requests and responses from the system.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Request history is not provided unless you are on the Teams plan.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aiding in testing a new API and software platform that we are building. We are able to mock responses and check that our software is responding correctly to the HTTP requests.

  ### 29. A tool of use for the development teams working on API integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhilash T. | Co-Founder | COO & Product Guy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Setting up a new endpoint with Beeceptor is remarkably straightforward and can be accomplished with minimal effort.

For me, Beeceptor proved to be an invaluable resource. I often find myself in situations requiring webhook integrations that necessitate providing a public URL. With Beeceptor creating a public endpoint is a breeze. I was able to complete the task in under five minutes. This efficiency significantly simplifies the handling of incoming data payloads, and enhances the development team's efficiency.

I strongly endorse Beeceptor to anyone in need of quickly creating and exposing an API endpoint. It is particularly valuable for development teams engaged in API integration efforts, offering a practical and efficient solution.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Nothing in particular. It did what I expected it to do.

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Easy config to setup endpoints.
Dashboard to monitor requests
Ability to configure multiple endpoints and APIs

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

On routing requests to local machine, the beeceptor tunnel keep getting disconnected.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me quickly setup mock apis so that my frontend team can continue working in parallel with backend.

  ### 31. Just works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler S. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

If I had to deploy my app every time I wanted to test a new webhook, I'd be much older. Thanks for operating this great service! Their customer support was also helpful when I had an issue. I use this all the time!

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Nothing wrong with Beeceptor. It makes webhooks really easy to develop.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes working with webhooks in a local environment a lot easier (whether this be for Stripe, Github or any service that needs to hit your server when an event happens).

  ### 32. Amazing product with great support !

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

We have been using Beeceptor since 1 year to mock our main API and ease our debugging.
Mock set up is really easy and very flexible as well (You can add a lot of rules to trigger them).

Our use case is quite specific and Beeceptor support has been really kind to help us each time.

We recommend this product compared to any competitors (We tried a few ones before choosing Beeceptor for our use case)

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Nothing to say ! Beeceptor is really helping us a lot to secure our component.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mock our main api depending of severals rules (user-agent header, content body, ...)

  ### 33. Beautifully simple and QUICK

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris I. | Solution Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

We were able to get up and running with Beeceptor incredibly quickly. The support team have been extremely responsive in helping us with a trial for accessing their management APIs, and the best thing is that both the management APIs and the mock endpoints themselves are QUICK so don't slow down our tests.

For value this can bring us and ease of use, the cost is very reasonable.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

We found one bug in their management API BUT they fixed it within days and extended our trial.

The API docs are a little basic.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mocking external dependencies of microservices deployed on Serverless architectures. We setup and teardown mock responses in our test suite using the Beeceptor management API and reconfigure our deployed dev artchitecture to hit the mock APIs.

  ### 34. Super-quick and convenient REST API mocking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayanth N. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

The fact that the free (even un-logged in version) has so many features! If we don't hit the rate limit, small teams like ours can get basically all we need from this.

We have been using this for years now, and it is so easy to setup and use

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The UI/UX can be improved slightly. But, given that it is a devtools product, it isn't a deal breaker

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During product development, if the frontend team wants a quick and dirty set of APIs that they can start coding with, we use Beeceptor. It also helps us iterate on the product because for small features, we have found it easier to prototype the methods, payload, etc from within Beeceptor, instead of writing a PRD.

  ### 35. Beeceptor breaks the iron triangle - it is good, fast and cheap

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Without a doubt this in no mock, this product and the support behind it is the real deal. Perfect tool for getting a proof-of-concept to be an actual thing, awaiting 'real data'. Work through the UX without being blocked by back end sprint flow.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Nothing, it gives us what we need of it.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beeceptor is helping for solve the problem of cross application integration across different application teams and timelines.

  ### 36. amazing mock server solution

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it mostly for webhooks testing.

  ### 38. Beeceptor saved lot of my time in qualifying my builds

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

I had mocked almost 170 apis based on different test cases for my application and I could able to achieve near production results in testing.

Beeceptor team had recently accepted my request to provoide x-zip format which was lacking earlier. This feature is very important for my application and really thankful

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Since the no. of mocks are so many it feels bit of difficult to organize. There are few UI bugs I hope they fix

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beeeptor acts as an external mock server for my application. With beeceptor I can able to simulate near production functionality and execute all test scenarios.

  ### 39. Simple, powerful and effective

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

You can create a new endpoint in just a few clicks based on a received message. Very easy to integrate.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Can't really thing of anything. Everything works.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to simulate integrated systems and give static responses.

  ### 41. Simple & Effective!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

This is a great platform for putitng a simple traffic viewing inbetween cloud products and vendors especially during integration and testing.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The plans are a little limiting. With lots of endopoints and lots of people to share them with, there isn't a really easy plan to get this off the ground.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to see the payloads that have left our system, if they've been delivered to the upstream proxy, and what the response is from the upstream service.

  ### 42. Outstanding Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

I learned about beeceptor from a YouTube tutorial about webhooks. Then, I started messing around with it more. The more and more I use it, the more I am falling in love with the product. It's super easy to use and the team is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Tough to give downsides. It's hit all expectations thus far. I haven't tried sending payloads yet, but that is what I'll be trying next.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was struggling to set up servers to pass API info through and this has been assisting in solving that problem.

  ### 43. Quick and easy, get's the job done

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** André P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Ease of use is the main thing about it. It's also quite flexible too. I've been using it to mock integrators that are being developed in parallel to my app and having Beeceptor as a fake integrator has helped me to catch bugs early on.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The only thing that bothers me is that it treats GET requests with query string parameters as entirely different requests. That means that I have to register a new mock for every request I send that carries a different value in a know parameter in the query string. But it's really not a big deal.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It`s allowing me to develop before the API I need to integrate with is even ready. I can mock it to test the whole trip from my app to the integrator. Before using it, I had a lot more bugs.

  ### 44. Great tool for mocking and blackbox testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

We can quickly simulate and test over many usecases by simply updating the mock response. It has helped us smoke test our product before any integration components into picture saving from last minute hiccups. We have also used it in few automations to save up on runtime.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

There should be another tier between free tier and $10 monthly plan.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us find bugs ahead of time before actual integration kicks in with external services. Have also been a life saver in case of downtimes and helped us save faces during critical application demos.

  ### 45. Mock APIs always available at configurable URLs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mauro V. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

It takes a few seconds to set up a new endpoint, logs the API calls in real time, and allows for dynamic content using Faker, which is a nice touch.
The whole setup is done online.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

It's not as flexible as Mockoon or other on-premises mocking solutions. Still, my use case is different: I mostly use Beeceptor for predictable, repeatable mocks, and by the way, this is probably the way to go when you test your client.
The Faker system should have more options regarding the date formats.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beeceptor has become an essential tool in my daily work whenever I need to mock RESTful APIs very quickly and keep them available for me and the remote testers.
The URLs assigned to your mock API are persistent and configurable, and you can also match the URL against a regex if you want to simulate complex API solutions.

  ### 46. A powerful tool for developers to create mock APIs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

With Beeceptor, developers can simulate API responses and test their applications without relying on external services.

One of the main advantages of Beeceptor is its ease of use. Developers can create a mock API in minutes, without the need for complex configuration or setup. Beeceptor supports a wide range of HTTP methods, including GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE, and developers can customize the response headers, status codes, and payloads to suit their testing needs.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

None. It's a great tool that I could ask for.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The development time or rather shipping time of any features has reduced drastically as dependency on FE with BE has been completely removed in intital phase of development by using mock APIs

  ### 47. Quick and easy hosted mocking tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex C. | Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

For the cost, I am impressed with the features provided. It has been relatively easy to implement within my team, with the ability to create new mocking rules directly via the request logs. Being able to tailor and randomise the responses has been quick and easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The interface is slightly hard to navigate around, and there are some features that would make this a much more flexible and useful tool, but so far the team seem open to hearing requests to add to their roadmap.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We develop software that integrates with several APIs that we have no access to. This tool has made it easy to create services that mock these APIs so we can develop and deploy our software with confidence.

  ### 48. Great tool for mocking API's, Very easy to configure and quick in response.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mastan S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Developers and Testers, particularly those who work with API integration, will find this tool to be highly useful. It is incredibly simple to set up and operate, making it an excellent aid in the development and testing of third-party integrations.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

Beeceptor is a tool that I consistently find to be very useful. I can't think of anything negative to say about it!

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beeceptor helps developers with API integration and testing. It provides a platform where developers can create mock APIs, intercept and modify API requests and responses, and simulate different types of API behaviour. This makes it easier for developers to test and debug their code, especially when working with third-party APIs that may not always behave as expected.

  ### 49. Very useful mocking tool for developers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiran M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

Beeceptor is a very handy tool when it comes to mocking external APIs and testing your application for various different scenarios. By simulating different responses from an external API, you can test how your application responds under different conditions and ensure that it is working as expected.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

It would be great if you can increase the daily limit of requests for free and developer plans as the current limit is not sufficient when you do performance testing of your application.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beeceptor allows me to quickly create and manage mock RESTful APIs that are accessible to both myself and remote testers.

  ### 50. Best way to mock an endpoint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vagner F. | Solution Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Beeceptor?**

The ease of creating an endpoint and, moreover, creating response conditions for the endpoint for free, greatly helps in testing scenarios, which competitors usually only do the first part.

**What do you dislike about Beeceptor?**

The price to access the other settings is a bit high, especially considering that it might be feasible to limit the number of requests for the other functions monthly.

**What problems is Beeceptor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Beeceptor to test and build integration protocol scenarios.
