Beam AI has significantly improved the way we handle estimates. It speeds up the takeoff process and helps us build accurate quantities much faster than manual methods. For our type of work, especially joint sealants and firestopping, it gives us a strong starting point to put together estimates quickly. Before adopting Beam AI, we handled takeoffs manually using On-Screen Takeoff (OST). I can honestly say I don't have any issues with Beam AI. I haven't encountered any serious bugs, and the very minor ones I have get fixed very quickly by the customer support team. Waste percentage's, I'm aware Beam AI performs takeoffs is a Net Footage but gross footages that include waste and layout would be very beneficial. All materials are different sizes and patterns so without a material grid for layout there is no way to determine each individual material's waste value due to layout, material size etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
