## bcs Reviews
  ### 1. Hands-Off COI Management with a User-Friendly Setup and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melisa M. | Manager of Property Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about bcs?**

Once the system is set up and becomes familiar with the COIs being submitted, it becomes very hands-off. Users can, of course, manually send reminders to vendors, and they do need to keep an eye on Activities/Tasks so the system’s automation can continue seamlessly. The system is laid out in a user-friendly way, and the BCS team—from the CEO to the representative to the support team—are all readily available to assist with any troubleshooting needs.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

Reporting and data collection/analysis could be improved. I’d really welcome deeper, more detailed data analysis, including insurance trends and clearer views of compliant versus non-compliant vendors by location as well as in aggregate. Additional reporting options—such as reports by category—would also be welcome additions to the platform.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BCS makes it easier and less time-consuming to determine COI compliance.

  ### 2. Mixed experience so far

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about bcs?**

One thing I do like about BCS is that it sends out COI requests automatically. The customer support is decent as issues come up.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

I’ve found BCS a bit challenging to get used to so far, especially since there wasn’t much training at the start. A lot of it has been learning as I go. The system requires me to review COIs as part of the process, which adds time to my workflow. I also need to create and manage vendors in both our main system and BCS, so there is some duplicate work involved. There’s been some ongoing adjustment to get the system working for our needs, and I’m still figuring out how useful it will be for my specific case. At this point, it feels like an extra step, and I’m still evaluating whether the value it provides balances out the additional time and effort required. I don't think this is necessarily BCS's fault. I think we didn't do our due diligence on our end before implementing the system to make sure it would work for us.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this point, BCS isn’t necessarily solving a specific problem in my current workflow. The tasks it handles were already being managed through our existing system, so the overall process hasn’t changed significantly for me. With that said, I can see how features like automated COI requests could be beneficial in streamlining communication and reducing manual outreach over time. I think the impact may depend on how well it integrates with existing processes and how it’s used across different teams.

  ### 3. Efficient, User-Friendly COI Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about bcs?**

We looked at several well-known COI tracking platforms before selecting BCS for its AI-driven automation and overall approach. The biggest improvements are around speed and efficiency. COIs are getting reviewed and approved faster. The AI review piece is helpful in cutting down manual work without overcomplicating the process. The improved efficiency is felt on the vendor side as well and has led to increased vendor compliance. Our users also appreciate the UI which is very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

There are a few areas where additional technical refinement could further improve the user experience, but nothing that rises to the level of a material concern.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlined the COI process by reducing manual review time and accelerating approvals. It has also helped close compliance gaps by making tracking and follow-ups easier and more consistent.

  ### 4. Database for Insurance Documents and Renewal Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex E. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about bcs?**

Good database to house insurance documents, and stay on top of renewals.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

Would be beneficial to have the capability to edit communications; currently, only BCS can make modifications. This would have made the ease of implementation much easier.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting and storing resident insurance policies for home, auto, and umbrella. Notification when policies are coming due to ensure we have the most up-to-date policies and mitigate risk.

  ### 5. Insurance Reviews made more effective and transparent to clients

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felicity M. | Compliance Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about bcs?**

I love their AI extraction tool. It takes half the time to review insurance documents and helps complete insurance reviews quickly. It can address missing items the bare eye can sometimes miss.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

I do not like their automated messaging system. You can turn this feature off in regard to expiration notices, but you cannot for extraction notices that are sent when a client uploads items. Client services also has limited time so when first starting out, amount of support did not meet expectations.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storing all insurance history among different companies/projects. Having one central location that can track and store historical data has been a huge benefit for reporting and serves as a resource hub.

  ### 6. Attentive Creative Solutions and Great Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara W. | Vice President, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about bcs?**

BCS is very attentive to creative solutions within the software platform. They provide great customer service and will implement adaptations to their software that improve the user experience.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

The inability to change the required parameters for COI requirements without affecting the existing status of compliant vendors.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are reviewing our COI submissions via automation and managing the compliance and renewal process.

  ### 7. Quick Access to COI Status Communications & Update Notifications Streamlines COI Mgmt. Process

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya R. | Business Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about bcs?**

Dashboard with compliance status, easy drilldown to issues and communication history and ease of sending notices to vendors about requirements compliance. BCS is always ready and willing to assist us with any questions or issues we may find which are infrequent. BCS made implementation and any further setup modifications easy.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

Some of the Out of Compliance issues regarding limits and requirements are debatable, not straight forward and need to be manually forced into compliance based on agreements made with Vendors.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The BCS app is a tool we use to more effectively compare contract requirements for Insurance to vendor COIs. This creates a significant time savings and shows our staff how the comparison is done and why a COI may be out of compliance. In effect it functions as a business process tool with built in training.

  ### 8. Amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deanna B. | RaceWay Support Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about bcs?**

I absolutely love Ian, he is the reason that I chose BCS and he is also the reason that I'm staying with BCS. Not to mention, he introduced me to Vanessa who is a RockStar and is always willing to assist in any way.

The software is amazing and easy to use, it has surely made managing COIs for me a breathe of fresh air

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

I was very disappointed in how BCS handled the situation when Anne left. It took them over 2 weeks to let me know that she was no longer with the company, I had standing meetings with Anne and we were working on reports that my leadership was asking for. Again, that is when Ian came to the rescue and introduce me to Vanessa.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BCS is bringing to light Franchisees that are no compliant with the insurance requirement that can be found in their Franchise Disclosure Documents.

  ### 9. BCS has been a game-changer for my agency.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie B. | Owner/Broker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about bcs?**

I love this program. The AI features make certificate tracking smoother, smarter, and way less manual. It’s like having an extra set of hands that actually knows what it’s doing. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next—keep pushing the envelope. This is exactly the kind of tech our industry needs.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

There is nothingI don't like. That said, I’m hungry for even more. I’d love to see it become even more intuitive, more hands-off, and more automated—less clicks, more done. Not a complaint. I know that level of s AI-driven workflow will come as the tech evolves, and I’m excited.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BCS is solving one of the biggest operational headaches in commercial insurance—tracking certificates of insurance across multiple subcontractors, jobs, and expiration dates.

  ### 11. Compliance percentage above 90%

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patsy W. | Director, Construction Project Administration, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about bcs?**

bcs is concerned about meeting our goals for compliance. We are the General Contractor and need to keep subcontractors paid so the work will continue. bcs works along us to ensure the provided documents meet our requirements. They work directly with the sub's insurance agent to gain adequate documentation.

**What do you dislike about bcs?**

Response time with subcontractors and insurance agents is timely. Sometimes, responses with internal risk personnel lags. Requested useability updates seem to take 6mo-1 year to execute fully.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

bcs works directly with subcontractors and their insurance agents to ensure documentation received meets requirements.

I wish the new update allowed for easier vendor import, there are more steps associated now.

**What problems is bcs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BCS is solving our communication and use of time, the system is able to assist in reaching out to our consultants and providing them with clear documented proof of what is needed to be compliant.
