The breadth of the tool - within the configuration, we have a complete ratings & reviews program enabled, from setting the Collection, enabling the Display and providing an area for Response. The analytics tools are decent; the Client Success team is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not responsible for the contract, but I'm sure it's not cheap. This is a brand that has been running ratings & reviews for years and years, so they know their stuff. As a software company using the service, we don't use a lot of the UGC features that other brands might enjoy - specifically visual posts etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using Bazaarvoice for a while now, and it's made a big difference for our online store. The setup was pretty straightforward, and the platform is easy to navigate. We've noticed a real increase in the number of genuine customer reviews, which has been great for building trust with new shoppers.
The review moderation is solid, so we don't have to worry about fake or irrelevant feedback slipping through. Plus, the analytics tools are super helpful for understanding what our customers think and how our products are performing.

Would be great if there was a better flow/easier way to provide customer service and improve people's experiences who left a poor review. It can be extremely overwhelming because they do so many different things and locating how to contact customer service is not very streamlined. The campaign setup process is generally pretty fast, and we receive fulfillment files within 1-2 weeks of launch, which is helpful when we need to get reviews in quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having to constantly keep track of samples sent out that yield no reviews and report to the campaign support team. Broken site functionality, poor and faulty launch of new platform / website with many missing features from prior. Follow-up from account manager is sparse to non-existent, and is unhelpful regardless. Support team using AI chatbots to send email responses that progress nothing. Delays in campaign communication are common. No way to check campaign cases outside of email copies now, as they are no longer found in the support case directory. Zero notifcation about major changes in procedure and site infrastructure, we're expected to figure it out ourselves as we go. I appreciate the collaboration between the BV team and ours, including the proactive and regular status updates on our projects, and ongoing outreach on potential future needs and networking events. The campaign platform is not the most user friendly. It takes a while to navigate and to find the information I'm looking for. Sometimes there are even permissions issues that as an account owner/admin I am not able to fix, which is frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that the cost of using BV has gone up significantly YoY. You are required to pay for usage of the platform and for the sampling units. Units also expire and there is no leeway on this. The turnover for BV support and account managers is quite often as every year there is a new person of contact. The new updated process of sending campaigns is tedious and counterintuitive for items with multiple finishes. The response time for the customer support team can sometimes takes weeks to reply back. Our brand relies heavily on consumer generated content. This tool gives people the opportunity to tell us how they feel about our products and gives us a chance to respond faster then we could elsewhere on the web. We didn't get many reviews until we added an incentive to leave a review. Now we have quite a few. It also took us a while to achieve our main goal of Google picking up the new reviews and adding them (in the form of star ratings) to our products in Google search results. Now they have done so. If your set of products is frequently changing like ours, it is difficult to keep up. it becomes especially difficult to keep enough reviews on your page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bazaarvoice is very helpful in ensuring our new product launches have reviews and making sure those reviews are syndicated to our retailers. The sampling service is very quick and efficient, and it is easy to make sure those reviews are being syndicated to all necassary channels.
