What problems is Barracuda Message Archiver solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had quite big mailboxes and were running into limits of office 365 Business licenses. So we had to archive or extend our office 365 licenses.

We are also quite sure that in case of emergency, we can find this lost mail somewhere. We had the issue that a sales person left and erased all his email. 2 years later, we needed an email for a disputed invoice. We found it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Barracuda Message Archiver?

Now that we have been on this for enough years, I no longer have to wade through on-prem Exchange backups when we get email record requests. What used to take from hours to weeks of restoring environments to pull back data from years past is now done within a few minutes. The implementation was seamless and done with support assistance which was great. Even though we don't use this every day, its great to know it's available and ready to get the job done. What do you dislike about Barracuda Message Archiver?

I cannot say that there is a downside to this product as it works great. The time it may take to pull the data can seem long, but in reality that is to be expected when you may be combing through 7 years of email! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Barracuda Message Archiver is a set-and-forget solution. In that, once you have it configured and running, it ingests all incoming/outgoing emails with whatever retention policies you configure.
