I like the intuitiveness of banner boo! No longer do you need to hire someone else to create ads for you. The templates available are great for inspiration too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing that I can think of at the moment. The video time line can get a little messy when you're editing the ad (as in there are too many things too keep track of). But that's more or a general editing problem vs a banner boo problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great ready-made templates and very easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, there is no SSL for branded CNAME client previews. The non-banded preview still works fine. But I see that this feature is on the future roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used to do banner ads for adwords using canva and it takes a lot of time to create all different sizes and it was just images. with Bannerboo, I can create all the different banner sizes in less than 30 minutes and it is animated. It saves so much time.
Pros:
- Bannerboo has a lot of templates with different sizes. Hope they can add more in the future.
- Animation creation is easy, we just need to to adjust the timeline.
- The interface is similar to canva so navigation is not a problem for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Editor is not as smooth as canva but I believe with Michael at the helm, Bannerboo will become better and better.
- UI can be improved a little bit more, for eg. when changing colour, the default colour is the same as the box so it is a bit hard to find it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BannerBoo has great videos, but I am really just interested in the banners. We have retail websites and some news sites. We constantly need banners, and creating great banners is always a problem. BannerBoo has amazing templates that do not look like most of the things you have seen. It is fast and easy to use. You can have a banner in three minutes and get on with the rest of your day! BannerBoo has thousands of great elements and templates. But, of course, I could always use more! But you will be shocked at how many great choices they already have! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BannerBoo is quite a special app in my view. It is certainly NOT the only app that can generate banners / ads, there are many apps that can do same. But BannerBoo is the one that do the job to my highest expectations, in my views.
What I like from BannerBoo:
- A very nice user interface
- A smooth experiences going around, playing with the app and the tools.
- The tools have great features, you only know when you clicked and expanded them
- The animations are top notch. I love Powerpoint animation, simple and effective. Animation settings in BannerBoo are very similar to Powerpoint, with same simplicity and effectiveness.
- The templates are super rich (7,000 are a lot. And many templates are professionally designed) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BannerBoo is simple, but effective. That way, it is difficult to really find some points that I dislike. Therefore, there are only some points I would think it is helpful if BannerBoo can consider to improve further:
I sometimes faced some sluggish in creating the banner
It may sometimes be difficult to really control the timing for animating the banner
The storage in some pricing plans offered by BannerBoo is limited - these can be higher
The templates can be grouped better to make it easier to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the few companies on the market that keeps its word with what is on the roadmap. In the last two months, they have introduced new additions and fixed bugs.
Very nice and intuitive UI with the option to share designs in your domain (CNAME), with your logo and colors. The integrated option to import images and videos from Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash and Youtube will speed up your banner production.
In my opinion, this is an excellent tool for every web designer and online marketer and is on my must-have list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I do not like, but I'm just waiting for Gradient Fill Option, but it's on their roadmap, and then this will be the perfect tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With BannerBoo, you can create animated ads in a snap! It's quick, easy, and a powerful way to communicate with your audience in a way that grabs their attention.
You don't have to be an expert in design to make an ad that converts well. Their professional animated templates are the easiest way to create ads that convert! With just a few clicks and edits, you can set up your ad to be perfectly optimized for success.
The best part of these banners is that you don't have to be a coding wizard to create HTML5 banners. You just need to be creative and do a little bit of work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike about BannerBoo at this point. However, I would like to see more templates added to their library in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BannerBoo made creating ads easy, But not just that, it has upgraded our entire ad creation and ad launching experience. We were able to plan, design and iterate our ad creatives quickly and publish them. The creation process was painless because they have got a library of professionally created templates that we can use. Adding animations were merely just a matter of clicking a few buttons. SVGs are not supported yet. SVGs are great formats for most general web usage and they work well across a wide range of browsers and devices. The team shared they have got SVG/SVG animation exports on their roadmap so I'm quite relieved and will wait for the best features to come. They have also got lottie support in the future, I hope they'll release it soon as these are essential features for a product that focuses on animation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That I get a professional looking banners very easily, despite not being a graphic designer, nor a html5-expert. Quick response from support. Very easy to edit and update the finished banners. I also like that I can host the banners on bannerboo's server. This makes it easy to publish the banners without an ad network, which is the case with the site I am running. I can easily incorporate video in the banners I create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much. There are some minor bugs that needs to be taken care of. Some features are missing (like gradient fills), but are upcoming according to the developer. The background removal tools is neat and works mostly well, but the result is not optimal with photos of people with curly hair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to make animated HTML banners (of course!). I wouldn't have the patience to learn to do this with code so it's a fantastic way for non-coders to get great results without having to learn HTML and CSS. It has lots of great templates to start from, and a clean, simple UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not being able to reduce the height of the animation bars so I can see more of them on screen without shrinking the actual banner too much. Not having an alignment guide or button to align selected elements. I'm still learning the program though, so maybe I just haven't found these options yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
