I appreciate the variety of available templates in multiple sizes and being able to switch between them. Creating animated banners is a snap! Even though I come from a professional design background, I was highly impressed with the ease of use and flexibility provided in this tool. I am sure that even someone completely new to the process would be able to pick this up quickly and be animating and exporting banners in no time! The ability to upload my own assets as well as other integrated assets from other services definitely helps to create unique and customized banners specific to my clients' projects. I wish that the auto-resizing for layouts could be improved to the point that it requires less manual reworking of the assets. However, I also realize that it is an enormous technical challenge and not so "simple" to achieve automatically. Still, that would be one of my most wanted features to help reduce time and become even more productive! Also, perhaps I missed it, but is there a way to easily package and download projects for archival purposes -- primarily so that if we wanted to revisit a project at some later time, we could then simply re-upload the project files and everything would be available and ready to edit again? Interface has Templates so that one can skip coding and create banners instantly. Also, the ad team is clever enough to promote themselves on Appsumo (and here on G2) for feedback. Full disclosure: several of us were offered additional features for our feedback / reviews. But this has not changed my impression of this product. I've many tools but none like it. It's easy to use, has really simple design, and they are animated. What could be better than that? Create animated ads for marketing campaigns quickly, and you get a great deal of animated templates for your money. Customer Support is also good. Roadmap also looks promising.

The extensive features and ease to get a useable item quickly that can be used on your website, without having to engage a designer with all the back and forth to work through your ideas.

The built in templates give you some ideas to work from without having to go back to a blank canvas to start over. This gives me, who is not a designer, a great place to start from and create variations from.

Tool functions are context relevant and stop visual overload and keep the workflow moving without having to read a manual to keep going ( cumulative interruptions can kill a great concept dead).

Extensive integration with all popular ad networks and associated banner sizes really cuts down on a big chunk of work. The team can also quickly add other ad networks on request if they are not already included.

You can quickly create content variations for your conversion testing and keep, reiterate and work on the best.

Access to media, pics, and video from other web asset sources included in the product, so not necessary to slow the workflow down as the assets are built into the product with an integrated search function. Then it is drag and drop, and you are good to go.

This application has really been thought out and you can see that the team behind it have had lot of the design frustrations that we have all had over time. With this application, they have managed to overcome many of those frustrations.

I love the templates. The designs are fantastic, and they also offer a wide range of categories and add even more each month.

It's also very user-friendly. I have no experience with designing banners but with a little effort it's possible with BannerBoo to create one from scratch as well. They also offer pictures and videos you can instantly use plus icons, vectors etc.

Only small things that probably will be solved very soon. An example would be having to insert text manually into a button. Training for noobs like me would be fantastic, but I totally understand they put more effort into developing the software instead of training. I love having the option to draft a complete ad campaign with the proper ad sizes, plus having access to an easy-to-use animated ad creator. You can do that stuff in Canva, but it's a lot less guided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BannerBoo is a simplified online banner maker. What I really like is the brand preset feature which helps you add brand-related colours, logo and favicon to be placed on the banners in a few clicks. Apart from creating animated and static banners, you can also create images for social media in PNG, JPEG, GIF and AMP. Another great feature is that you can easily create videos and exports them in MP4, which makes it possible to use them almost everywhere. You can even create your video intro\outro with this tool. If you do not want to export your HTML banners, you can make use of the embedded ad feature, which allows you to simply paste your banner link on the website. If you work with banners and different advertising networks, you know that they all have different banner size requirements. The UI looks a bit outdated but still fine. The user management feature is not there yet, which would make it easier to add users and manage teams. It would also be nice to have an A/B testing for embedded banners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
