I loved that it was easy to navigate, use, and place the ads on a website via the embed code.
They have hundreds of templates for popular web ad sizes and social media sites. Currently, there are 20 categories.
It's easy to add pictures and they have a built-in background removal tool that really helps.
For me, it will save a lot of money in design fees that I would otherwise pay a designer - well worth the small fee they charge.
Another great aspect is that there isn't much of a learning curve. Log in, select template, change out logo, add other text, url - grab code and off you go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found anything that I don't like yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a beginner, the interface is very intuitive and easy to start off with. The product is fast and stable. I also like the HTML 5 export. I am hoping to add clients soon as my business takes off. The team has been responsive in support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More functions! The software has potential and I hope the ly keep adding updates Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User interface, though simplified, adheres to industry standard. In short, it is definitely less intimidating when compared to full fledge video editing apps. But the best part is, while its learning curve is not exactly steep, it is quite powerful when compared to other design apps. More importantly, the whole workflow from start (e.g. choosing a template) to finish (exporting in different sizes and formats) is intuitive, which should be good enough even for say marketing people and not just designers. For those who are familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud Premiere Pro, you could just jump right in; for amateurs, it may take a while, but then again, since it follows industry standard, your time will not be wasted. Price-wise, it may not be most affordable, but I would say it's reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to create ad designs for my business. It's an app that makes it so easy to create an animated ad for any marketing campaign. They have some of the best and most original pre-made templates, and you can customize them to your product or service needs.
All you need to do is choose a design template, upload your content, and done! I love how easy it was to create my animated ad with BannerBoo. Their animated ads were able to do it all in a short amount of time. It has an easy-to-navigate interface that makes editing straightforward as well. A must-have for any business or marketer!
BannerBoo is truly a game-changer for my marketing campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I know this app is already on the market for a while, but it would be beneficial to have some of its more complicated features broken down into step-by-step tutorials.
There are a few elements of the design that could be improved, like the sidebar for the editing panel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user experience is very easy to use because it's all drag and drop. Very similar to Canva and they also have hundreds of templates and they are categorized based on the different industries you are in. As an agency, this saves my team a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I hope they provide more updates to date designs with their templates. Also if you want to generate different sizes, you need to do this manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact is that it is like a simple version of Adobe After Effects. I have been a user of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and AfterEffects for over 10 years. I always thought After Effects was a little bit overwhelming. BannerBoo makes it so much more simple and easy to create a simple banner. Plus, I love all of their stock footage and images and movements that I don't have to create or find out on the web myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing at all! BannerBoo Rocks! I can't say anything bad about it at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am creative at heart and love the design process, BannerBoo makes that design process very easy. As soon as I logged onto the dashboard area I was met with a range of design options. I love the wide range of different size banners I can create.
If you need to create banner ads, BannerBoo is a no brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found anything I don't like about BannerBoo yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What has left me with my mouth open are the animated templates that are in the library, the easy way it is to insert it anywhere without having to download the project, it really saves a lot of time.
The timeline and the simplicity of adding effects to each element is great, replacing images within a template is also a time saver because I choose a template that I like, I just change my graphics and I already have it fully animated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For now it has everything I need to work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BannerBoo stands out in its ability to easily create custom animations and export to HTML5.
Let's face it... there’s currently a sea of leading graphic editors available to help make still images and even create basic animations.
But none of these come close to approaching what BannerBoo does for animations, especially those for distribution across ad networks. From GIF to MP4 to HTML5 BannerBoo does it all. You can even one-click resize for different ad networks.. brilliant.
We are not graphic designers and just need a quick and easy solution to create banners for paid social and digital marketing purposes. Banner Boo fills a gap in the market and accomplishes this brilliantly.
You can always start out with one of the well designed templates or create your own custom animation from scratch.
Their leadership and tech team seems very responsive and the product roadmap looks promising.
I have no doubt that BannerBoo will play an integral part in helping us grow our business moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BannerBoo is still a young company and working hard to catch up to the product vision. In any case, they are far ahead of the competitors in the same space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Happy to have purchased this offer from Appsumo. Recently, I began looking for something like this, and BOOM! ... here it is. I bought up to the max purchase!
Previously, I was using Google Web Developer to create my digital HTML ads; however, this process can be long with the coding, and most times, I want to get my ad idea out and be done. Banner Boo appears to do this for me and then some. I don't feel confined in the structure and can be more creative.
BannerBoo's templates look great, and I hope that they continue to add more to the platform.
As others have mentioned, I, too, am looking forward to the one-click generate different banner sizes feature.
In reviewing the public roadmap (which helped me to decide to purchase), I'm happy to see mention of A/B testing, a gradient fill option, HD video templates, and improved analytics for digital ad embeds.
Another great idea is to include an onboarding for new users, as Banner Boo can seem like a lot to someone who doesn't understand how digital ads work with various networks, etc. Overall the public roadmap looks solid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the speed appears to be slow at times (not all the time); however, I believe that as the improvements in the public roadmap are implemented, this will improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
