The managers can enter performance goals, and I can update them in the UI, creating a shared understanding. I find the UI to be pretty streamlined, making it fairly easy to find what I want. The leave calculator is really nice and useful. When I first joined, the onboarding experience was pretty good and slick, with a helpful walkthrough and notifications that made it easy to complete all the steps. **What do you dislike about BambooHR?** I swear there's a big calendar view somewhere of everyone who's on leave, but I cannot find it. I might be misremembering though. The interface is clean and the org chart makes finding information easy, but the real wins for us are the PTO tracking and the document signing features. Being able to handle all our employee contracts and forms directly through their 'Files' system has saved us so much time and kept our records much neater. **What do you dislike about BambooHR?** The biggest hurdle is the lack of a truly integrated, built-in payroll system. BambooHR keeps all my files, no matter how old, for reference at any time, which is handy. The 'my info' page dedicated to everything about me, like my personal likes/dislikes and work performance, is something I love. Requesting time off is made simple and enjoyable. The performance review setup is great because I can't see my manager's performance review of me and they can't see my self review until both are completed. I like visiting my coworkers' profiles to learn more about their positions. It's fun listing my personal interests for managers to get to know me. Additionally, it's seamless to use since the initial setup, and I experienced no technological errors while setting it up. Lastly, I love how I can see my coworkers' birthdays, workiversaries, and new team members hired on. **What do you dislike about BambooHR?** Sometimes, when I try to clock in or out using the big blue 'clock in/out' button, it loads for a few seconds and does not actually record the time punch. Also, when it comes to holiday requests, you should be able to submit a request to cancel a holiday that has already passed. For example, I requested a holiday, then changed it at the last minute and didn’t take it.
