Our company utilizes Bamboo for all of our employees daily. It allows our employees to clock in & out, as well as request time off throughout the year. Bamboo also allows us to send write ups to employees, as well as make announcement to all of our staff very easily. Before we started using Bamboo, we were not doing everything digitally. BambooHR is the most useful HRIS I have found so far, especially for a small HR team. There are so many automations of processes I used to spend hours on each week, saving me time and saving my sanity. The available training and support make it easy to use and ensures that I'm taking advantage of all the great features. We have integrated a few other systems and data transfers seamlessly. BambooHR is a full service human resources platform. From hiring to benefits and payroll, everything I need is in one place. Customer service has been good and I enjoy the learning centers and resources, as well. I especially like the Employee Wellbeing modules. What I love most about using BambooHR is that almost everything is located/stored in one place; employee information, hiring, time off, payroll...the list goes on! It is a super user-friendly platform as well, on a computer as well as on your phone!
The sales process was honestly so pleasant. The support from BambooHR was superb-they were able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. The sales rep we worked with was so genuine, it definitely impacted our experience in a very positive way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The sales rep lied to us about what the platform was capable of, they said bamboo would integrate with our payroll system which is not true.
This platform is terrible for companies with more than 20 employees, a lot of changes in the system need to be done manually because there is no easy way to make mass changes to employees without duplicating information.
The customer service is usually very unhelpful whenever I ask if there could be simple customizations. There is literally no customization on this platform, they make their customers change their processes to fit into bamboo's ridiculous model.

After almost 4 years as a loyal customer, they restructured their subscription packages moving us from top tier to mid tier and moving some of the add-on features we were paying extra for into the top tier. At that point they told us that unless we upgraded with a 75% price increase we would no longer receive upgrades to those features. The point of subscription software is that we are paying for the continual development and upgrades. It is totally not ok to force existing customers to pay monthly for legacy software.
I tried to negotiate with them and ask for some kind of compromise, like grandfathering us into top tier only for those features or perhaps a discount on top tier for a period of time. They absolutely refused to work with me, straight up refused to let me talk to a manager, insisted that I had to take the full price increase to retain updates for the features I'd already been using for years. When I told them that was a terrible way to treat a loyal customer and that I would take my business elsewhere they were fine with it. Perhaps because we are a small business, they don't see it worth their time to keep us as a customer.
I would warn everyone away from BambooHR as you can't trust the prices they tell you you'll pay. Unreliable, predatory, and awful way to treat loyal customers. From a company that preaches about treating people well from an HR perspective, they sure don't understand how to treat customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate being able to use features like the calendar and see my co-workers birthdays, anniversaries, and days off. As a remote employee, I get to clock in and BambooHR track my hours. I appreciate the home screen to see features at a glance like new employees, my timecard, announcements, and a calendar snippet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using bamboo HR from past 1 year, I've found that it's User interface is best as compared to other HR softwares I have used in past. The minimal design and accessibility to use the software on mobile phones make it more usefull. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Your compnay set up needs to be fairly cookie cutter to get the most efficiencies out of BHR. They do not offer much in the form of customization. We have ran into this issue the most with benefits administration and connect reports that need to be sent to our payroll partners. The support BHR offers is AWESOME for quick questions that the BHR support team likely get daily. However'; if you uncover an issue within the system that requires developer time or further review service is slow, it sometimes feels like they try to hide the reason for the issue, and they do not want to take time to meet to discuss issues. It is very rare that you get to talk to someone from BHR face to face or over the phone. There also seems to be no "manager" escalation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
