Two things I like the best:

Employee self-service: one of the great features is the employee self-service portal, allowing employees to access and update their information, request time off, and view their benefits. This reduces the administrative burden and empowers employees to manage their own data.

Onboarding and offboarding automation: BambooHR offer the ability yo automate both onboarding and offboarding processes. For onboarding, it provides customizable checklists, welcome emails, and automated task assignments to ensure new hires have a smooth start. Offboarding is equally streamlined with automated notifications, task tracking, and exit surveys to manage employee transitions effectively.

Custom approval flows: BambooHR lacks advanced customization options for approval workflows. We have a pretty unusual approval hierarchy and we find the default settings insufficient for our needs, as the software does not allow for extensive customization of approval processes.

Accrual of vacation days: the tool's handling of vacation day accruals can be restrictive, especially in countries with unique accrual rules. For example, in Croatia, employees start accruing vacation days during the first six months (prorated) and then receive the full number of days afterward. BambooHR does not currently support such specific configurations, which can be a significant drawback for organizations with similar requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lateley there are some sistem errors, and it is not working all day, and all our HR life very depends on Bamboo data, and those particular day when we encountered the issues when bamboo hr is not responding - were when we had to enter newcomers in system, but all was solved the next day!

Maybe would be some more additional options for surveys - eNPS and Satisfaction survey reports - or more frequesnt system reminders, as we want that 100% completes all surveys. and maybe one more additional day for completion would be suitable, especially when there are system errors on that week... that reduces the completion rate very significantly. Bamboo gives all of our employee access to their HR and payroll data on an app. Employees can manage their own updates. Onboarding is a breeze, posting jobs recruiting is seamless, and payroll is very easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Updating the performance management module would be very helpful. It doesn't currently provide a great way to track progress on individual sub goals expect as a percentage of completed tasks. BambooHR makes life easier. Payroll is logical, reports are accessible and sensible. Time off requests and tracking are easy to manage. Preparing reports can be challenging without experience, and it takes time to understand how reports are generated and what data is necessary. Occasionally, we miss a report that shows salary information for a specific period (e.g., salary amounts for May 2020). This might be an area the product team is working on.

I love that this software is so user friendly, I hardly ever have employees that cannot figure something out on their own with it.
