**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I use BambooHR to manage employees that report to me and to access various company resources. I find it helpful for consolidating systems into a cloud-based, secure platform, which replaces multiple other systems. I like the people management aspect, especially the good online approvals and management for vacation time, along with tracking employee data throughout their history with the company. It's great for keeping track of important information that would otherwise be managed in various Excel documents.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

Better permissions and visibility options. To help maintain sensitive information to different areas of the business, or levels of management. There are admins, that have ultimate access, however sometimes those admins I don't want them to see everything.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BambooHR helps consolidate systems and keeps everything in a cloud-based platform, reducing reliance on multiple systems. I manage employee data securely, track important information, and handle vacation approvals efficiently, replacing the need for scattered spreadsheets.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I use BambooHR to request days off and to view/sign company documents. It allows me to submit requests to my manager in an easy way and receive feedback accordingly, and it also gives me access to the directory for all employees and their information, which I find really handy. I like the ease of use of the platform. The dashboard is particularly useful as it lets me see everything I need in one place, including who's out, how many vacation days I have accrued, and information about my employment. I've used other platforms for the same purpose, and BambooHR has been a champion in what they do, I definitely prefer it. The initial setup was pretty straightforward. On a scale of 1 to 10, I am likely to recommend BambooHR with a score of 10.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I like the platform as is, if I were to improve something, it will be the UI. It could be more fun. It's too grey, a bit more of color would be great!

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I use BambooHR for everything related to human resources. I like that it is super intuitive and easy to use, letting me find anything quickly. The tool is pretty robust, allowing me to do anything related to HR, like downloading any certifications I need, checking my vacation balance, and requesting time off. It's easy and fun to use. The vacation calculation feature is awesome because I can see how many days I have now and plan my time off for the future. I also love downloading certifications easily and find the clarity in sections, like understanding roles and positions, very helpful. It's been the best and most robust platform compared to others I've used.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

Maybe there are some tutorials on how to use the BambooHR platform, but they could be in another section of their platform that is more intuitive to check all those videos. Most of the time, I need to tell a friend where those videos are posted so I can go and find it. I think if there was a section of how to use the tool, it would be helpful.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BambooHR for everything HR-related. It's easy to find and download certifications and check or request vacations with their calculator. The platform is intuitive and robust, making planning and managing HR needs simple and clear.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I find BambooHR incredibly valuable for organizing our church's operations. It's easy to keep things organized and find people in our company directory really fast. I also appreciate being able to look at my pay stubs fairly easily. The app is super helpful too. The user interface is easy to navigate, pretty easy to find things, and very clean. It saves us time when we need to figure out or find stuff, letting us do it easily and quickly. We have all the most important information readily available, and it's not hard to find it. Switching to BambooHR was fairly easy, and it didn't take long for us to learn it.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I think the one thing that could be improved is the AI feature. I found it difficult to find things using it. It doesn't really provide great responses. And if I'm searching for a specific thing in BambooHR and use the AI feature, it has a tough time even working or giving me a good response at all, really.

I use BambooHR to keep our church organized. It helps me find people in our company directory quickly and access pay stubs easily. The app is super helpful.

BambooHR is very straightforward and easy to use. The onboarding workflows, e-signatures, checklists, and automated reminders are excellent and help streamline processes efficiently. Employees can request leave very easily, and the overall system is intuitive and simple to navigate.

BambooHR is very easy to use and navigate, however some areas such as reporting and workflow automation can feel a little limited depending on business needs. Certain customisation options are also fairly basic, and pricing can become expensive as additional modules are added.

I love how user-friendly and clean the interface of BambooHR is. Everything is easy to navigate, which makes day-to-day tasks quick and intuitive. I really like the PTO tracking feature, especially the ability to calculate available PTO as of a specific date, making planning time off much easier. I also appreciate the goal setting and tracking functionality, which helps keep progress visible and aligned throughout the year. The PTO tracking feature is especially helpful because it provides clear, real-time visibility into available balances, making it much easier to plan time off confidently. As a manager, it also tells me if anyone from my team will be off on a certain day and the balance of my reports as well, and it's easy to accept or deny their PTO requests. The goal setting functionality is equally valuable because it helps keep progress structured throughout the year, making performance conversations more focused and aligned with actual outcomes rather than just end-of-year recollection.

While BambooHR is very user friendly and effective for core HR tasks, I've noticed some limitations around customization and reporting flexibility.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I use BambooHR in my workplace to review documents I need to sign and see how many vacation days I have left. It solves the issue of keeping track of documents I've signed and those pending, and it allows me to count my vacation days easily. I like how clean the processes are and how sleek all the UIs are. The colors are attractive but modest, and the processes are clean because they let me jump to each step of the signage process. I use it on Chrome, and it works well. The initial setup was seamless—I just signed in. I would give it a 10 out of 10 because it facilitates my life a lot as a collaborator in a medium company.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I have not faced any issues yet, but I would like for a way to go into document signing, and jump from document to document automatically without having to access them individually

BambooHR is a clean, organized platform that finally moves employee data out of messy spreadsheets and into one spot. It makes things like requesting time off, onboarding new hires, and managing records feel simple instead of a chore. The interface is intuitive and it just makes the day-to-day side of people management much more easier.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

The email part can sometimes be hard to navigate, especially when you're trying to track down previous feedback or specific topics shared with a teammate. It isn’t always easy to find that one specific thread when you need it.

The vacation calendar could also be more intuitive; it’s occasionally a struggle to quickly see exactly how many days have been consumed versus how many are actually left. It would be much better if that breakdown was clearer at a glance.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BambooHR finally puts everything in one place. It handles all the personal stuff—like signed docs, annual goals, and reviews—while making team management way easier. I love how simple it is to check the org chart or see who’s out on vacation and for how long.

That said, it’s not perfect. The email/feedback section can be hard to navigate when you're looking for a specific past conversation. Also, the vacation calendar could be clearer; it isn’t always easy to see at a glance exactly how many days you’ve used versus what’s left. Still, having one organized spot for everything makes life much simpler.

Clear structure and helpful information, both for the company as a whole and for individual employees. For example, I often come here to review my personal details and make sure everything is up to date. The UI is easy to use and straightforward to navigate.

For now, I don't find anything that I dislike about this product.

I’m not on the leadership team at our company, so I can’t really answer this question properly. That said, from a user’s perspective, BambooHR is very easy to navigate and genuinely user-friendly. Anyone who’s comfortable with technology can pick it up quickly, with very little friction.

I use BambooHR for tracking sick days and personal leave, which is very helpful as a faculty member. I really like how easy it is to fill out requests, which is especially important for me as a teacher with limited additional time. It's super quick to request time and receive an answer or approval. BambooHR was also super easy to set up initially, which was great given our team size of about 600. Additionally, we use it for organizational announcements, and it's an excellent centralized location for information that we all need.

Organizing folders can be clunky, especially when we upload different types of documents like medical or personal ones. Sometimes we can't make changes after a school year has passed.

HONESTLY, NOTHING SO FAR. SO YEAH, EVERYTHING IS AMAZING

I really appreciate the calendar function for keeping track of who's out, especially in the summer. BambooHR is easy to use, which is a big plus for me. The directory function is super helpful for looking up contact information for people I don't work with frequently but need to loop in on specific projects. I can easily search by company, name, and department to find the right person to send information to. Overall, the initial setup of BambooHR was very easy.

I can't filter the announcements feature. It would be helpful to have announcements assigned to a category and be able to filter out the categories that don't apply to me. Some announcements posted are more personal in nature, whereas others are informative. I would like to be able to filter out the personal announcements so I can more easily find the information I need to know.

I use BambooHR to manage time off requests conveniently and track summer scheduling. The calendar function is helpful for noting who's out, and the directory function lets me find contact information easily.

I especially love the self-service portal — employees can update their own information, request time off, and access documents without needing to contact HR. The onboarding workflows are a huge time-saver, and the reporting features give us solid visibility into our workforce data. Overall it has streamlined a lot of manual work for our team.

There are a few minor areas where BambooHR could improve. The reporting customization options can feel a bit limited when you need very specific data cuts, and it would be great to have more flexibility there. Occasionally the mobile app can feel slightly slower than the desktop experience. That said, these are relatively minor compared to the overall value the platform provides, and the team has been responsive to feedback over time.

Before BambooHR, we were managing employee records across spreadsheets and multiple disconnected systems, which led to errors and wasted hours each week. **What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I like BambooHR's ease of use. The web app is fairly intuitive, as is the mobile app. I personally value the PTO tracking and approval process because BambooHR makes the time-off request process easy for everyone involved and keeps everyone in the company informed when someone is out. Moreover, it makes it easy for our employees to see when someone is out and allows our remote workforce asynchronous payroll access, which is great for requesting time off or checking benefit information. We used to use Deltek Costpoint, and it was a pain compared to the simplicity and user-friendliness of BambooHR.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I wish that employees could bulk-update their time sheet. If a salaried employee just needs to put 'I've worked a full day (8-hours) every weekday under the same pay-code' they have to click into all 10 weekdays of the pay period and enter an 8 plus the pay code. If there were a way to edit all the affected days at once it would be nice, but it's not a big deal.

BambooHR simplifies payroll access for remote employees and shows who's out of office. It streamlines PTO requests, unlike past fragmented processes, and makes absences visible to everyone.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I use BambooHR to track my time sheets, request time off, and keep track of org structure and people within departments. I appreciate that it provides an easy, all-encompassing platform for time tracking and date management company-wide. I like the ease of use and platform intuitiveness, which helps me log on each day, input my hours, and see any upcoming dates all in the same spot without spending minutes figuring out where I need to go to access the features I need. I find everything else about BambooHR very user-friendly.

Sometimes it takes a while to load and redirects when I go to the page to request time off. It says I can request time off from the home page, but it would also make sense to request time off from the page dedicated to that function.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I like BambooHR because it has quite a few options that I didn't know in other tools and that are important for a company, such as the ease of searching for a person in the company to get to know them better. I also appreciate the search by skills or certifications that people have acquired, as well as the ease of making changes to the payroll and recording salary increases. The initial setup is extremely simple; a profile is preloaded and access is given to the personal account to upload documents, and then skills and education can be manually updated in the corporate account.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

Perhaps the possibility of reviewing how a profile looks to others, so you could hide things you wish not to be seen.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BambooHR to request vacations, manage annual performance reviews, and facilitate the internal publication of my studies and experience. It helps me avoid personal contact for permissions and evaluations, and allows searching for colleagues by skills or certifications.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

It’s very easy to use. In my current job I’m only an end user, but in my previous role I had admin access, and I can confidently say it’s straightforward from both sides. It’s also easy to customize to a company’s needs, whether you’re using it just for requesting time off or also to manage benefits, compensation, and more.

I can’t say much about pricing because it isn’t part of my job description. That said, since both places I’ve used it were smaller businesses, I assume it has to be reasonably priced and therefore worth every dollar. I’ve never had any performance issues; it runs smoothly, and onboarding was quick and easy both times. As for integrations and AI, I can’t speak to those directly because we don’t really use them.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I honestly have no issues with bamboo. I think it does exactly what it has set out to do. I think overall it is really well made.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being easily able to see not only how many days I have left to take off, but also able to have the calendar for everyone's days off is so helpful. Especially as a receptionist who answers phone calls all day. Also, having everyone's information in one place and having our yearly reviews easily accessible is wonderful.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I love that BambooHR is very user-friendly and allows me to see all of my colleagues' status, including their time off plans, who's in today, and whose birthday it is. This really helps in making us feel like a team. I also love that it makes requesting time off easier and more systemic, eliminating the need to go through an informal process. It's great to have an HR tool that consolidates everything in one place. I didn't set it up personally, but I've heard it was chosen because it's an easy option with out-of-the-box functions.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I mean, I would love more of, like, a customizability function. So, like, able to add some of our brand styling, like the color and logo, but being able to maybe add more images, maybe a little bit more customizable, maybe more fun. Like, I think if anywhere we can have fun, it would be something like this. So it would have been nice to have more of that.

I really like the Time off section, especially the fact that I can calculate how many Time off hours I’ll have in the future.

It’s also convenient to have all the documents to sign in one place, particularly during the onboarding process.

The new employees presentation is another nice feature, and it’s useful for learning a bit about the new people joining the company.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I think the Goals management within the Performance section could be improved. I’d like to have more tools that help me define my results and goals more clearly and consistently.

It would also be great if I could format text in a goal’s comments, so I can better organize and describe my thoughts and analysis.

Sometimes, while I’m filling out the form for a 1:1, I get asked to log in again and end up losing everything I wrote. An autosave feature would be really helpful. Also, the 1:1 text areas should allow text formatting and be larger, so it’s more comfortable to write and review longer notes.

I like that BambooHR is clearly organized, with clear actions, and it provides a good experience. I really appreciate the time off section, especially being able to check how many vacation days I have left and extra information on how many are already scheduled, making it much easier to plan. The main reason I open BambooHR is to request time off or log when I will or was working from home. I also enjoy checking the celebration section for noteworthy occasions. Overall, I rate it a 9 out of 10 and find it quite satisfying, though there are minor areas for improvement.

I hate that the week starts with Sunday. Everywhere else it starts with Monday or has at least an option to change it. I also make a mistake quite often because of this. I know this is a regular view for the US, but the majority of the rest of the world actually starts with Monday. In the past, I checked settings, and I couldn't find a way to change it. So, this would be a small feature that would help me quite a bit. It's not a biggie, but at the same time, it adds some friction to my usage of the service and annoys me.

I can easily view my annual leave history, raise an annual leave request, and quickly understand whether it has been approved or not.

The organisation chart and my own employee information are also really useful. I regularly use the org chart to show other coworkers exactly who I mean when I’m referencing someone else.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I dislike how balance is calculated. It is confusing to understand how much I am entitled to. It would be best to default show how many days I have left to use - as if ones already pending approval or approved are considered used up. At least have the option for it to be seen as such.

Organisational structure and visibility, holiday approvals and ease of access, company HR documents.

I use BambooHR for work, specifically for HR, hiring, and employee forms. It streamlines the HR process by keeping everything in one place, making it easy to move people from prospect to employee. The people, hiring, and reports tabs are super helpful to me. The people tab allows me to see historical data on employees, and the hiring tab is useful for communicating with new employees and getting them set up in our system. The reporting function helps me to zoom out and see different specs about our business. Also, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

The settings are a little bit disorganized and confusing. It can be hard to find what you're looking for right away.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BambooHR streamlines the HR process by centralizing everything. It simplifies moving people from prospect to employee. I find the people, hiring, and reports tabs invaluable for accessing historical data, setting up new employees, and gaining business insights.

BambooHR is easy to use and has a pretty intuitive UI. I use it regularly, usually to check or request for my time off or check others' planned leave and birthdays. I think it's great that I can easily access others calendars and even know about they celebrations.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I wish it was clearer if my requested time off is accepted or not - there is only an icon which is not obvious for me. I think integration with email is fine but I would consider giving the user more control of notifications they want to get  - I only get notified about my own time off which I find a little redundant.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BambooHR is solving the problem of planning my time off without knowing the capacity of the team for requested time. With BambooHR I can check the team's calendar and plan my leave before submitting the request.

The UI is simple to use compared to other tools I've used in the past including Dayforce. The layout including seeing vacation totals and sick totals on the home page is very helpful. It's also fast and responsive and works well on mobile too which is a large part of why it's so much easier to use.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

Canadian payroll is not integrated properly for my company that I work for. This means I can't see pay data in the way that would make it easy to view within Bamboo. Not sure if this is my company or Bamboo itself but it's something I'd like to see.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s easy for me to see my vacation and sick time accruals, as well as how much I’ve used, without having any questions.

I find BambooHR is really easy for PTO submissions and approvals, whether I'm on my computer or phone. The user interface is really clean and easy to use, which makes it a joy to navigate. I don't have to look in different places like company handbooks or Outlook notifications. When I joined the company, it was easy to start using without any training required.

I really like how intuitive BambooHR is, you don't need to know much about computers to use it. You just log in and that's it, you can see everything easily. It has a very easy-to-use dashboard that is truly excellent. Additionally, I use it to schedule my vacations and view the organizational chart, it's very comfortable and practical. It allows me to see how much vacation time I have left and know which department each colleague belongs to, which makes it easier to find who to turn to in case of a problem. I am very happy with this software because it works very well and there would be nothing to improve.
