What do you like best about Balloon?

Overall, we really enjoyed hosting an event on Balloon and appreciated the excellent support from the Balloon team.

A few highlights:

- I love the fact that you can request features and see their roadmap. The Ballon team is actually listening and working on continuously improving the platform.

- Having to pay only for the people who show up, the attendees. This also really sets them apart from competitors.

- The intuitive use of the platform for organizers and attendees alike. We had many positive comments about the platform and if something was unclear, we got fast responses and/or solutions.

What do you dislike about Balloon?

What do you like best about Balloon?

What do you dislike about Balloon?

It would be more convenient and flexible to allow delegates to make payments when buying tickets through Balloon. Stripe is not well supported by many countries due to regulations, for example, from India. You need an Indian Payment processing company to be integrated to accept payments. Not sure if this affects other countries. If you are a US customer and in some other countries, this works very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Balloon?

The platform Balloon has a beautiful, simple, and user-friendly interface, it makes an event seem special and unique by offering a virtual space that hosts it, and its features allow a variety of services and make it possible for attendees to connect, feel a part of a community, and have a special, premium quality experience. The organizer's life is made easier through a simple setup, and moderation is seamless during the live stream. The best part? Our biggest problem is the corona pandemic. The platform Balloon helped us to keep doing our work and keep our customers happy. If it wasn't for Balloon, we would have run into serious difficulties that might have resulted in the closure of our company. This is why we titled this review "Balloon App saved our business and made our customers happy". It really is the case. What do you dislike about Balloon?

My experience overall with Balloon has been a positive one! One of the downsides of using Balloon is the lack of some features that are standard on other services. These features include as embedded captioning that doesn't require the usage of a contracted third-party service, customizable client emails, and the inability to close chats. They are, however, very transparent with their roadmap, and I know that Balloon will be considering these features in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Balloon?

Balloon was extremely easy to set up from an event organiser point of view. It was so simple to set up and clear to use. It was fully customizable with branding, which was essential to us, and the steps were easy to follow. If any speaker title changed or stream session changed, it was easy to adapt when the event was both in the testing and live stages. Balloon as a team was absolutely excellent with communication, Jennifer in particular, it has been such a lovely point of contact - very helpful with any questions you have. I would highly recommend Balloon to anyone who may be new to virtual events and wants an easy platform to use; it also made the event look so professional. I liked being able to have a backstage chat when the event was live if any speakers needed to communicate. I cannot rate it highly enough! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Balloon?

Not many dislikes to report on! A feature that would have been nice is if we could hide schedule items instead of fully deleting them - a minor feature however, we only wanted day two attendees to see our day two schedule and so we had to delete the day one schedule items but this wasn't a massive issue.

Some speakers would have liked to see the chat function when screen sharing which wasn't possible if they had one screen - however, again, this didn't impact the event massively but would have been beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Balloon solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our biggest concern for our event, Wellness engaged was attendees not feeling engaged enough. The networking function was great as it enabled attendees to talk with one another so I loved this feature. Also, the chat box was handy during the event as attendees could ask any questions they had or make any comments so we definitely overcame the issue of potentially having low engaged attendees. What do you like best about Balloon?

What do you like best about Balloon?

I really like that Balloon is a self-serve platform that we can customize as little or as much as we need. Our events have a bit of a range in size and complexity and this solution has helped us to be more strategic with our budgeting. The customer service is also a highlight that my entire team is thrilled with. There isn't anything that I dislike about the platform. There are features that I would want to add, but the Balloon team has given us the opportunity to voice those ideas with the platform and keep us updated on what they have added in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Balloon?

The attendees enjoyed the platform, especially the networking. It is good that the platform has a feature of breakout rooms that is easy to navigate and use. Account creation feature for the attendees, such as the automatic creation of their account and they have to "forget their password" to log in, which can be a hassle on the attendee's part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They were able to solve the problem on online seminars or conference, where there is less interaction or lack of engagement. What do you like best about Balloon?

Very intuitive for all involved including me as an organizer, as well as attendees and speakers. Very easy to navigate across the platform. Lots of different ways for attendees to build connections and also the platform has a number of ways for the organiser to display content.
