Quick and effective interface, very well laid out. But truly, the excellent customer service from the beginning phases of the sales process to the implementation process has been what has sold us on choosing Babbel. Have yet to experience a negative issue with Babbel. I feel confident that even if we run into any issues, the stellar customer service and attention I have experienced throughout the process will continue through to reach a resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Babbel for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?

The majority of our employees are not native English speakers. Most of our management staff are not bi- or tri-lingual, which can lead to communication issues on every level. Additionally, many of our employees are willing and capable of taking on more of a leadership or supervisory role but are ineligible because their English proficiency falls short. We need certain sectors of our customer-facing aspect of the business to be adept at engaging with and working alongside persons from diverse backgrounds. As we expand, we want our employee base to expand in their knowledge and ability to connect to others in a language that is comfortable to them. What do you like best about Babbel for Business?

I love that my colleagues and I can all pursue a language together/independently. We can all study at our own level/pace. You do have to be a self-starter and make the time for class and lessons, but once you build the habit, its easy to keep that momentum going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Babbel for Business?

There isn't much to dislike! The Intensive class portal is a little less smooth as the regular class/lesson portal but that's about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Babbel for Business?

Babbel is the only platform that has worked for our young adult students. The students that we work with migrate from region to region and work in agriculture. They work extended work hours, including weekends. For this reason, the conventional classroom setting does not work for them. Babbel has been very popular with our students because it allows them to connect from their smartphone, anytime, any day. Thanks to Babbel, our students learn how to get around in this Country (USA). What do you dislike about Babbel for Business?

The administration of credits for Babbel Live and Intensive could be a bit easier. The system does not allow to increase credits as needed. Instead, we need to resend the invitation with additional credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Babbel for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem we had in providing ELA to our students was the schedule. There were no teachers with the flexibility necessary to work with our students. Also, the Adult School system does not accept students unless they enroll. Our students cannot enroll because they work. Babbel solved the issue of nonmatching schedules between the school hours and work hours. Our students can learn English during their very limited free time. What do you like best about Babbel for Business?

The ease of using the app, we can access lessons efficiently. At the beginning of the course, the app offered some explanations that were good for me (I miss that). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Babbel for Business?

The way lessons are built. Compared with other language-learning apps and I think Babbel is a bit boring. I can't progress on language learning because the classes are basically made of vocabulary and rare expressions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Babbel for Business?

The ease of use and explanations. I also enjoy the variety of learning activities. It is great because it provides visual pictures with words so those who learn in different ways, whether it be visual, spelling, etc, will have great opportunities to benefit from the product. What do you dislike about Babbel for Business?

The words being learned are very basic, and it misses the pronunciation piece that I believe is key when learning the language. For example, bye is written as Chao, and this the exclamations are listed with the word, but the exclamations are not explained. I don't feel the software should give the full history or reasoning, but pieces would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Babbel for Business:

Go over the content necessary to understand pronunciations and explain accents and exclamations prior. There are so many things that make this language unique and it would be great to have this implemented prior to using babbel. As of not, I did not see any videos on the content through babbel that could be used to do this. Also, flash cards, and some content to student outside of the content would be a great tool and go hand in hand with the learning process. Not everyone learns the same way, so if you are requiring it of an employee, look for ways to balance the learning for everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
