What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

I've been using Azure now for the last year and working as a solution architect requires me to revolve around the Azure Portal the ease Microsoft has given in terms of setting up the resources is really appreciable when compared with AWS. Anyone with just basic knowledge of the cloud can create huge enterprise solutions as well and the AI, and ML support after Microsoft bought Open AI is just the cherry on the cake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

Azure is powerful, beautiful, and easy to use but the time taken to create, loan, and access resources is too much, I cannot wait for my APIM setup to be up after 45 min of setting up. Azure should work on their orchestrator and increase the backend power of Portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problem of buying and maintaining hardware for any IT company is the 90% of the total cost business incurs but with the cloud coming into the market this cost has been reduced to 25% or less and now companies can rent their infrastructures, services, and ready to use operation SaaS products on a minimum price which also works on a pay as you go basis. What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

The cost of Azure services, I would like you to support small businesses like us with long-term credits. The complexity of some of the Azure tools and services, which can require a steeper learning curve, and integration with third-party tools can be tricky, resulting in a less seamless experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

Azure offers a high level of security and compliance. I feel safe knowing that my data is encrypted and protected by the advanced security of this cloud. It is not always simple to recover from DRSync server outages. Our on-premises servers stopped responding after the fail-back was finished. Our servers need to be restarted after the fail-back.

File synchronization per directory requires more than 5TB. Unfortunately, technical support falls short of expectations. It's still difficult to customize WVD graphics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure Virtual Machines?

Azure VMs allow to create a machine within minutes to run both Windows or Linux system. It allows to create a development environment, PoC or "computer in the cloud" that can be easily accessed and used remotely. Its easy to configure and run and the speed of operation (latency) is very good - machines can be used for tasks like coding, pentesting etc. It's really easy to create a disposable machine to be used in everyday work. Machines can be automatically powered down/up to keep costs under control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Virtual Machines?

Running more advanced configurations (e.g. containing specific physical video card for CAD rendering) is available only in specific regions. The creation of new small size machines from templates could be faster. While it takes several seconds it is still slower that on fast local PC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure Virtual Machines solving and how is that benefiting you?

Running PoC disposable machines used during pentesting projects, which allows to run specific tool in the cloud (accessible from the internet) without the need for local resources. This applies to both to Windows and Linux VMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
