So far, I enjoy Azure over other cloud platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simplicity is the key! Its very easy to start using! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price is the only downside, if you have big machines, you must have a very large bank account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The following are the few features which I like about this product:
- This service offered by Azure is available in various sizes.
- It is very easy to provision & use
- Azure VMs are charged on hourly basis & you need to pay only for the time you use them.
- Strong User community since this offering by Azure is widely used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The following are the few features which I don't like about this product:
- Cost of GPU based Azure Virtual Machines could be very expensive and small startups find it difficult to afford it.
- Additional metrics should be added to track the GPU usage the way we can track CPU usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
speed, agility, performance, global presence, security and disaster recovery at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the biggest issues that is seen with Azure is a change in the computing power that is available to the business. If you’re moving from on-premise servers to the cloud, you may find that your computing power does not move along with you. To generate the same levels of computing power on this cloud-based platform, you may find that the costs are several thousand dollars more per year than what you’re currently paying. I have generated clusters to support mission-critical databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like granular provisioning, for load balancing provisioning, monitoring and security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Azure allows infrastructure and virtual machine management from anywhere. Since the product is integrated into Microsoft 365, there is no need to manage separate logins. After a year of using the product very heavily, there have been no outages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a number of features that I would expect in a hosted solution that Azure simply doesn't offer. Some of these are very basic expectations, for instance, there is no ability to open the console of a virtual machine in Azure, you can only connect via RDP. You can view screenshots of the console, but this is my no means equal to viewing the actual console. This makes system upgrades, especially on non Microsoft OSes, more complex than necessary. Additionally, you cannot boot from an ISO in Azure. This severely limits your ability to install and configure non-Microsoft systems. We have also experienced unexplained performance issues on database systems. We have purchased the highest level of virtual hardware, but the systems are still much slower than they should be. Pricing can also be confusing and result in some unexpected charges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use and set up.
The subscription is charged per hour. You only pay for what you use.
It has a very high disaster recovery rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any issues in particular. I am happy with the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It acquires a very interesting proportion due to its main features, one of which is the system-independent artificial intelligence, it obviously operates virtually, its disks managed by Azure have excellent read and write operations, highlighting that it maintains stable drafting of each document, each virtual machine is customized in terms of computing, networking, and storage, adapting in a complex manner depending on the system corresponding to the operation. When making customizations, there is a system difficulty that makes it slow, as these systematic modifications can become heavy due to its established capacity in its digital programming. In certain main software options, this can be detrimental because it can alter the daily work routine, making it slow when entering these settings to suit one's own preferences for better work quality. This results in the comfort not being effective in small uses of the service offered, and it is necessary to make a more intuitive reinforcement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Actually I was looking for cloud mainly VPS functions. I compared industry leading VPS service providers and Azure is my final solution. It's great, there are series of VMs; entry level to extreme level performance with multiple choices. I met my all requirements through place. There are major advantages,
- Pricing
- Scalability
- Wide range of performance
- Availability
- Recoverability
- Able to deploy in on-premises
- Load balancing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
