What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

Microsoft Azure provides the best DR(disaster recovery) service among all public cloud providers. Its DR service called ARS(Azure Recovery Service) vault provides a very easy and automated service for disaster recovery from one region to another region with very low RTO(Recovery Time Objective) and RPO(Recovery Point Objective). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

In Microsoft Azure, it is a very complex task to export an external application's hard disk. Because for exporting or attaching the third-party application disk you first have to convert its supported type which is VHD(virtual hard disk) then only you can export it. Also, you can not extend a storage disk without detaching it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

Azure provides a hybrid benefit(which means you can bring your license for the operating system) for every virtual machine which you can launch on the Azure cloud with any OS. Which reduces the cost a lot for deploying a server or virtual machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

You can not able to use a volume or storage disk without encryption in this cloud. Because of that, it took a little bit extra time to store the data in the storage disk. And also you can able to change the name of the volume once you have created it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Microsoft Azure is solving a wide variety of problems by providing various services like -

- Hybrid Cloud

Also, when there is an Azure outage, it takes a huge toll on the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Azure helps in migrating on Premise systems to Cloud. That is, earlier, with on Premise System, the user had to manage software upgrades, hardware configs etc all by themselves. With Microsoft Azure, all these headaches are taken care by Azure (along with Providing a cloud platform), and the user can focus on the development task solely. What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

The best part about Azure is that differ it from other cloud service providers is that if you have already purchased a Windows OS license then you can use it with every azure virtual machine that you create whether it is on-demand or dedicated VM while deploying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

You cannot rename the disk once you have created the disk, the only option that will leave is to create a new disk and disassociate the old VM which makes the disadvantage of Azure. And also services such as cognitive services consume much bandwidth and cost which does not make them cost-effective sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
