Azure Virtual Machines are very easy to configure and deploy. Its probably one of the preferred cloud infrastructure by large companies. Azure virtual machines comes with various flavors of size, operating systems, pre-canned tools like SQL server database and SQL server Management studio etc. It is very easy to create a schedule for the run time back-up/restore and other operations. Another plus going Azure VM is that it can easily talk to other technologies like Sql Database , Azure Data factory , Azure data Lake etc. Over-all it is a pretty comprehensive cloud environment.
