What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

I like the flexibility and scalability of Microsoft Azure. The platform offers a wide range of services and tools for developers to build and deploy applications, and it has a global network of datacenters that support high availability and data residency requirements. Additionally, Azure's integration with data and AI technologies can help organizations unlock insights from their data and drive business growth. I also love the fact that the support team is super helpful, I had a lot of issues in the beginning but the support team was kind enough to go through all my issues and resolve them for me. What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

I dislike that the pricing for some services can be difficult to understand and compare to other cloud providers, also the user experience is quite complex for a beginner as compared to other cloud providers but this doesn't mean it's bad, it's just that there are a lot of services that azure provides and it's tough to condense all of it in a single place. What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

One of the key strengths of Microsoft Azure is its scalability and flexibility. It offers a wide range of services that can be customized and combined to meet the specific needs of different organizations, from startups to large enterprises. Some of the most popular services offered by Azure include virtual machines, storage, databases, analytics, and AI/machine learning.

Another advantage of Azure is its strong security features. It provides robust security controls and compliance certifications, such as ISO, SOC, and HIPAA, which make it a trusted platform for sensitive data and mission-critical applications. Additionally, Azure's advanced threat detection and response capabilities help to protect against cyber attacks and data breaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

Microsoft Azure has its own set of limitations and challenges. For example, some users have reported difficulties in setting up and configuring Azure services, especially for those who are not familiar with cloud computing concepts. Additionally, managing costs can be a challenge, as some Azure services can become expensive if not monitored and optimized regularly.

Moreover, like any cloud platform, Azure is dependent on network connectivity, which can be a challenge in areas with limited or unreliable internet connectivity. Finally, some users may prefer other cloud providers based on their specific needs and preferences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the key problems that Microsoft Azure is solving is the need for scalable and flexible cloud computing services. Many organizations are looking for ways to move their IT infrastructure to the cloud to reduce costs, improve agility, and better support remote workforces. Azure provides a wide range of cloud services, including virtual machines, databases, analytics, and AI/machine learning, that can be easily scaled up or down based on business needs.

Another problem that Azure is solving is the need for secure and compliant cloud computing solutions. With the increasing number of cyber threats and data breaches, organizations are looking for cloud providers that can provide strong security controls and compliance certifications. Azure offers advanced security features, including network security, identity and access management, threat protection, and compliance certifications such as ISO, SOC, and HIPAA, which can help organizations meet their security and compliance requirements.

Furthermore, Azure is solving the problem of data processing and analysis. With the explosion of data from various sources, organizations need powerful analytics tools that can help them derive insights and make informed decisions. Azure provides various data analytics services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Stream Analytics, that can help organizations process and analyze large amounts of data in real-time.

In summary, Microsoft Azure is solving various problems related to cloud computing, security, and data analytics, providing businesses and organizations with a range of benefits, such as scalability, flexibility, security, compliance, and data analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
