What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

Microsoft has made Azure compatible with almost all Programming languages and third-party product integrations. Azure now becomes one single shop for migrating and integrating our existing cloud solutions, be it premise or hybrid Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

It is still challenging to migrate applications written in very old code to Azure web services. Instead, it feels easier to re-write the application on the latest platform, but this is not possible if you do not want to reinvest in your existing application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

Azure has made hosting, developing, managing, securing, and integrating all your applications under one cloud and in a very seamless way. It has also made them very easy to set up. What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

I used my subscription mostly for its virtual machines. The best feature I enjoyed was how everthing was so scalable. I could literally choose any location, any additional resource I required and could see every peny/expense that was about to be incured. As compared to other providers in the same league, I found azure to be the most usee friendly as it does not overcomplicate things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

The thing I disliked the most was unavailablity of certain virtual machine instances temporarily. Azure should aquire more resources to cater this situation. Sometimes finding network settings for a particular vm becomes annoying, please make such things available on the main stats screen to make them a click away! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

It brings almost all business critical applications under one plateform which makes it a lot easier to use and get things done because there is not much of learning curve remaining required. Another plus side is that its Microsoft, so everything gets synchronised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Azure also provides robust security and compliance features like multi-factor authentication, encryption, and regular security upgrades, all of which are essential for guaranteeing the security and privacy of your data and applications. The platform's flexibility and scalability make it a desirable option for organizations of all sizes since they enable you to quickly modify your resources and services in response to changing and expanding needs. Overall, the extensive features, security, and scalability of Azure make it a top choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

The complexity of setting up and managing Microsoft Azure, especially for companies with little technical know-how, is one possible drawback. The platform provides a broad range of tools and services, which may be too much for consumers who are unfamiliar with cloud computing or have limited IT resources. It can also be difficult to precisely predict expenses when employing a lot of services or scaling up quickly, even though Azure's pricing mechanism is generally open and flexible. Effective budget management may become challenging for firms as a result. Finally, while Microsoft has been working to allay these worries and enhance speed, some customers have occasionally experienced challenges with dependability and uptime. Overall, Microsoft Azure is a strong and flexible cloud platform, but it might not be the best choice for companies without the required technical know-how or for those looking for a clear-cut solution. However, Azure can be a fantastic option for companies that are prepared to invest in the necessary tools and knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure Virtual Machines?

I started using Azure VMs in the place of small local hosting companies to manage my hosting and so forth and I must admit that I've been grateful for how simplistic and powerful Azure VMs can be and the pricing can be seriously potent as well, especially with the added features and integrations available to me out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Virtual Machines?

VM start up times can be a little slow compared to competitors and although there is good value for money here, their pricing is still slightly higher than the competitors but they do provide more to offset that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure Virtual Machines solving and how is that benefiting you?

Azure VMs made it easy and simple for me to deploy from Azure DevOps, the primary CI/CD tool our organization use.

With using Azure VMs we were able to take our existing Office 365 stack and Exchange Server via which our mail and file sharing went, use its Active Directory and easily manage access, permissions and so forth via one centralized system. Including access to our VMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI of Azure should be more interactive and resources regarding to that should be easily available so that a new person can directly work on it without any issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure Virtual Machines solving and how is that benefiting you?

Instead of buying servers from market and setup cooling system and a place to store that we can use power of azure and use their compute resources for performing the task or using that as mobile or web applications servers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure Virtual Machines?

Azure Virtual Machines are readily scalable up or down to meet fluctuating demand.

Azure Virtual Machines easily connect with other Azure services, including Azure networking and storage.

Security: Azure's security features, including firewall rules and network security groups, guard Azure Virtual Machines.

Cost-effectiveness: Compared to alternative cloud-based virtualization options, Azure Virtual Machines can be more affordable, especially for customers who only pay for the resources they utilise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Virtual Machines?

Azure Virtual Machines may be pricey, particularly for more extensive or more complicated applications. Some customers believe they are compelled to utilize pre-configured templates since there are few customization options available for Azure Virtual Machines.

Some customers complain that deploying virtual machines on Azure may be laborious and time-consuming. Azure Virtual Machines' dependence on Microsoft is excessive, which restricts their flexibility and independence. Regarding working with several virtual machines and extensive networks, some customers find managing virtual machines in Azure challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure Virtual Machines solving and how is that benefiting you?

Users may quickly raise or reduce computing capabilities as needed using Azure VMs without spending money on actual hardware. They may be transferred between Azure regions and be used to host various applications and services. Users may avoid the upfront expenditures of buying and maintaining actual gear because they only pay for what they use. High availability may be provided by Azure VMs, guaranteeing that services and applications are always accessible even in the case of hardware failure. Virtual machine management may be done by the Azure interface or Azure CLI. They have network security and encryption characteristics and are constructed on Microsoft's safe cloud architecture. They are accessible in several Azure locations worldwide, giving users a fast, reliable, and secure environment for running applications and services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
