## Azure Logic Apps Reviews
  ### 1. Logic Apps Delivers Smooth, Secure Integrations with Great ROI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian N. | Senior Technical Consultant, Computer Networking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

I love Logic Apps. In my role, I use Logic Apps a lot and have built many integrations across different processes, from mailing campaigns through SendGrid integrations to network provisioning. I’ve also created integrations with Skedulo for field engineers, built webhook listeners, and put together monitoring tools. Insights helps me monitor activity, and performance has been very good—flows run smoothly.

Creating flows through the UI is very easy, and I rarely need to deploy anything as code. I use premium connectors and pay for alerts for flow failures, and I still feel we get a good ROI compared with using other automation systems. Security is key in our line of business, so I wouldn’t really consider automation tools that sit outside my Azure tenant.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Nothing, for what I need it works perfectly.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me manage integrations between most of our systems. It’s much easier to have the systems talk to each other through logic apps, which makes management simpler, instead of having them communicate point to point.

  ### 2. Perfect scalable platform for nocode integration implementation

Learning curve is very easy in Logic Apps. Good resources are provided by microsoft for learning Logic Apps. It was easy to implement and try out. With the right subscription, you can get a logic app up and running within 1 hour. The huge list of connectrs was a great help too.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Devops process to deploy logic apps needs to be simlified. Also some features are avaialble via code view and not from designer view, that should not happen. Some work is needed by Microsoft team to improve the response time of logic apps processing. same functionality in Function app runs much faster.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

Building workflows is really easy and fast too. And you can go live with them in no time. If you are working with JSON data, parsing through them is also easy once you get the hang of it. The documentation of all actions is helpful and has good examples. You can easily track the past executions in detail.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Editing the workflow in code view can be improved. Having some colour coding similar to visual studio would help. As a starter having colour coded brackets can be good. Different actions have different settings that you can configure, unless you open the settings, you will not know of those configurations. So maybe those settings can be shown in a popup bubble or similar thing.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have built a lot of automation using workflows. We have connected to Azure Function Apps wherever required. Integrating with other azure services is also easy. Lots of systems integrations have also been built using HTTP trigger, or recurrence or triggers for 3rd party products.

From starting VM to whatever coming to your mind. The process is quite straightforward and they provided even tutorials in the portal in order to speedup the learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Nothing, it's a very nice way to automate anything you need. After using for a while you won't be able to automate as you did before.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

Create a trial account on azure website, you'll receive credit up to 200$ in order to try for yourself during a month. After the trial period if you're happy with the overall functionality you could switch to a pay-per-use subscription. Otherwise your account will be closed and deleted with a $0 payment. Nice, isn't it?

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using a Scheduler to startup a VM that runs a specific tasks in order to collect some data from multiple websites and store it in a shared file storage. After the process in completed I use another scheduled tasks to shutdown the VM and free resources (saving money). The shared storage file could be accessed from anywhere with credentials so I'm able to investigate the details form my own laptop without incurring in additional charges.

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

I worked on creating the workflows for the Purpose of Integration of B2B Scenario which is the current replacement of BIZ talk Project. It recently went live and is performing very well. The best thing is we can call API's, FunctionApps, SQL, we can make custom connectors, etc.
No need to raise the lengthy Piece of Code for all the services like in .net or java, Here its just that particular resource's API Connection that can be used to get connected to that particular resource and can perform CRUD operations on DATA accordingly.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

There are some limitations, for which no documentation is present and need to raise a Microsoft ticket for clarifications.
You need to learn how effectively we can implement the Logging part by using Log Analytics.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The requirement is to flow the data from one system to another system, when a record got created or updated in one particular system. Which is nothing but an Integration of B2B Scenario.

It's never been easier to access data and keep your disparate systems up-to-date, in real-time.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

The user interface or designer to configure the actions should be improved. I have observed some time it behaves badly with chrome. Apart from that of we get desktop version of designer version it will be great.
That will have more control on the designer compare to web version.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruthnie A. | Principal/Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

The endless library of integrations available on Azure its strength. I also love that you can begin with templated solutions and learn what more you can do. These actions can integrate (and in our case do) with a number of other app solutions that we use to track user response to content, client email campaigns, audience conversions and more.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

While the integration possibilities are exciting, it needed provisioning that was beyond our level. When we began with a free Azure account, we were clear that we were a marketing and communications firm. The option to connect with local Microsoft Certified partners, locally, would have resulted in a much more robust use from us as we depend on the systems we connect to for delivering complex services. Azure has ways to monitor and scale our apps but it took us a while to get there on our own.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. We are trying a pilot of checking for pothole data parsing language from a twitter web app. It reduces the manual steps to deliver a request to our clients operations team and reduces time to open a ticket.

2. Process replies based on user actions on an email campaign.

I find that we can do much more in the realm of service. It also informs on how to invest in compatible systems.
