I enjoyed how Microsoft Azure Active Directory provides strong access and identity management features, enabling safe cloud resource authentication and approval. It also connects effectively with other Microsoft services, giving users and administrators a unified experience. AAD interacts smoothly with other Microsoft cloud services, such as Office 365 and Microsoft Intune, allowing us to manage all of our Microsoft items in one place. I experienced delays in policy application in Microsoft Intune and the GUI was complex, especially for those unfamiliar with Active Directory and Azure services. I'm occasionally concerned about hosting data off-site and the potential security dangers. In addition, I've always thought Microsoft had a problem with user interface design, finding it cluttered and challenging to discover the required features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is irritating when it asks for credentials in an already-running app. Otherwise, it is very smooth. Like any other transition, when transitioning to AAD, can be a task, and basic training may be required, otherwise my experience has been very smooth Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the more complex tools, might need to undergo a little onboarding. However, it does not take long to become acquainted with how the various tools contribute to the overall experience. Plus, the team at Microsoft has been very supportive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having worked with Azure active directory, I personally feel that it's a great product to manage user identities and access to resources. The product makes it very easy to manage authorization needs of your organisation. The most amazing thing about AAD is its SSO feature. It integrates pretty well with the rest of microsoft azure and office365 services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If your organization has to shift to using AAD, it defintely has a steep learning curve, So a bit of training will be required to get hold of the service. Also, i feel it's a little on the pricier side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the online web portal loads slowly. This does get annoying but it isn't a major drawback. I also wish it had better support for group policy in cloud only environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The authenticator is so far the best authentication tool I have used. The majority of the webpages gets approved on Realtime and gets through the access. The notifications are real-time, smooth and easy to access and approve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For some web pages, the notifications and approvals take time, and sometimes the approvals won’t even allow the approval and needs to reload the page and enter the code again. This happens only with some web pages; this can be fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Microsoft Azure Active Directory service is a cloud-based IAM service. It is accessible to management cloud identities, devices, groups etc. And it is a free service to provide user and group management, synchronization with on-premise Active Directory if there is, password reset, single-sign on! My organization is a hybrid environment, we have Active directory connect synchronization to Azure Active Directory. I hope that the directory synchronization health (in Microsoft 365 Admin Center) can be added to the Azure portal to show the details of synchronization status, health and errors. It supports MFA. MFA adds a layer of security which is very important and critical nowadays. Users have to put in the code while the sign-in process which they get on their cell phones. Another impressive feature is conditional access. Admin can force the condition while authentication. Like if some user wants to have access to some department folder then the admin can put a condition as the user must have MFA in order to connect or have access. Some of the other features are we can define password policy, can manage different Microsoft applications, and can integrate with Intune. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much to add in this section as Azure AD covers almost all aspects in terms of management and security as well. But as these services are cloud-based so it comes with a cost that sometimes gets go over budget. So, you need to spend the credit smartly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
