I always like pulling up tutorials and also answers to my doubts from the user community when I face any issues with the software! There is a lot to take in and digest to best be able to use the tools available. We had a lot of support from Microsoft, however this would be very difficult to build up and navigate alone. DevTest Labs allow quickly create temporary environments for non-production purposes, use can create entire set of needed virtual machines from a template to perform your work, if you will need another environment you can easily create it identical with previous. You can control quotas for your engineers to manage the costs of your labs, also you can configure autostart and shutdown to avoid VMs running when these are not used.
