This is a great way to do that since in the conventional deployment schema needs a configuration between firewall, app, dataflow, and so on. **What do you dislike about Azure DDoS Protection?** It is too expensive and it does not allow you to configure your expectations to diversify the DDOS attacks among the requests. **What problems is Azure DDoS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** It basically provides protection and therefore your system stays alive (available) the whole time. Your systems will work in extreme attack conditions. It provides this benefit. ### 2. Their basic ddos protection is included at no extra charge. There’s nothing to configure on our end because their entire network is already protected. I appreciate them providing basic ddos protection for free on all of their plans. **What do you dislike about Azure DDoS Protection?** Their standard ddos protection is a whopping $3 grand a month. We don’t need it right now since the basic package is keeping up just fine, but I would love if they can lower the price or let us try it to see if there’s any significant network improvements. I still love azure and their basic plan, but I’m just curious in what the standard plan has to offer. **What problems is Azure DDoS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our website and services were getting ddosed so we proxied our services and website through azure using sshl. That charm worked, and drove ddosers went away. Our services are up more and we have little to no downtime now after applying azure on top of our infrastructures. This has saved us a lot of money when we were desperately looking for specialized ddos protection when azure can just do fine for now. ### 4. It requires no application or resources changes which is great. Your traffic patterns are monitored and alerts given if there is a potential attack. **What do you dislike about Azure DDoS Protection?** Pricing can be high which can be a deterrent. I believe it can run as high as a couple thousand dollars monthly in order to provide protection for multiple IP addresses and additional resources. **What problems is Azure DDoS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** I feel confident that I am protected against a multitude of potential network attacks and that my information is safe. ### 5. The DDoS protection features give developers and companies a head up in detecting, preventing and logging all the possible DDoS attempt on applications and data hosted on Ms-Azure Cloud. **What do you dislike about Azure DDoS Protection?** I have not experienced a serious problem yet. **What problems is Azure DDoS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** Raampant attacks and illegitimate access of services by bots has been a major challenge for our clients in the recent years. With the Azure DDoS protection, only legitimate usage is allowed through the system thus giving us the true results of application usage, file downloads, and most imprtantly, resource consumption. ### 8. We had our servers attacked a couple of times and never had any downtime, thanks to Azure DDoS Protection. I must say it is very effective and will protect your workloads without any doubt. **What do you dislike about Azure DDoS Protection?** I don't have anything to complain about it. It provides world class security to our website with just one click. We dont have to do the setting up manually in order to use Azure DDoS Protection unlike other services where we have to set it up manually. **What do you dislike about Azure DDoS Protection?** Nothing. It's good as it is. I would recommend more control over the details if it is allowed. **Recommendations to others considering Azure DDoS Protection:** I'd recommend. **What problems is Azure DDoS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** It provides us with additional security on top of the security we implement for brute force attacks using software. But DDoS protection protects our website from crashing inside out as it blocks the IP Address which is doing so and nullifies that traffic. It lessens burden on our production team. ### 11. Even if someone gets into the network, he/she wont be able to perform DDoS attack due to this Azure DDoS Protection.
