## Azure Content Delivery Network Reviews
  ### 1. Networking in Azure is easy to understand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jatin G. | Support Engineer - Level 3, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

The documentation from Microsoft is in depth.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

So far I don't find any bottleneck. I am happy with all features and functionality.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am happy that I don't need to setup everything same as like in my physical infrastructure. There are many things which is only managed by azure and you just need to manage your resource. Such as CDN i am using AFD with WAF, i just make a CNAME and route it to my AFD endpoint then it can be redirected to any origin host in backend.

  ### 2. Dont buy Microsoft Azure CDN if you want hassle free devops

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

The only thing I liked about the Microsoft Azure CDN is the massive scalability, all the other things except the scalability are shit. Worst performance and shitty user experience, though it will be cheaper of no use.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

There are a lot of things that no one will like, first the performance which didn't support your application, then comes the user experience you need to go here and there for a small function. So overall I totally dislike MS Azure CDN.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only problem it is solving is an array of integrated cloud solutions that include infrastructure and application services that can help your organization overcome business challenges. Rest of all it is just creating new problems for developers.

  ### 3. Excellent Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ing. Juan Jesus S. | Exchange Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

The speed is awsome, you can radically decreased loading times and less lag. As a domain owner you can get benefits like increase user engagement rates, llower abandoned rates, increased ad impresionsz etc.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

At the moment I didn't find any issue with the service. You have a Microsoft product that the name says a lot, security, quality, service, fast response, etc. You can find anything.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

They provide security, efficiency, and ease of use on the part of the end user.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Infraestructure, the servers are geographically distributed and work together to acelerate content delivery. Content delivery networks, make quick transfers of assets.

  ### 4. Effective CDN from Microsoft/Azure

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Effective CDN, and provides detailed reporting on cached objects. Effective API to managing load and purge.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

No complaints! The CDN fulfills all our use cases satisfactorily and under very heavy burts of activity/load.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Caching content used in email delivery use cases. Also convential web asset hosting use cases.

  ### 5. Incredible CDN and modest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rav K. | Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Extraordinary CDN and cheaplets you decrease load times, save transmission capacity and speed responsiveness—regardless of whether you are creating or overseeing sites or portable applications or encoding and appropriating streaming media, gaming programming, firmware updates or IoT endpoints.

The advantages of utilizing Azure CDN to convey site resources include: Better execution and improved client experience for end clients, particularly when utilizing applications in which numerous trips there and back are needed to stack content.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

To get immediate help, you need to buy a help plan beginning from 29 USD every month.

Costs in different suppliers like Backblaze B2 are less expensive (around 0.005 USD per GB/month) for Standard access

All the diverse stockpiling choices wind up being confounding. It's not straight-forward for a tenderfoot to realize when to utilize Blob administration over File administration, for instance. As I would like to think, Amazon AWS and Google Cloud Storage make a superior showing clarifying and streamlining the contribution

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

pull out all the stops.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

reserve static articles stacked from Azure Blob stockpiling, a web application, or any openly available web worker, by utilizing the nearest cdn worker

  ### 6. A flexible and affordable platform for cloud computing services.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna M. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

There's a lot of great stuff about Azure. but one of my favorites is the speed at which you can boost up new websites, servers, or even digital devices is incredible. In moments, you can do what it takes you time to do on-page. It is also very easy to set up connectivity between services. There are options inside each integrated object that you can customize. These options make it much easier to easily customize your services in the best way possible.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

What I like least about this system is that I feel it has a very straightforward and clear pricing structure. It's really hard to work out what a new change is going to do to affect your subscription pricing. You've got to assume a little of what you think is going to happen or where you think you're going to find out how you can afford to upgrade more options. It should not be like this. The interface still leaves a lot of room for improvement. They've just upgraded it, but it's probably contributing to the ambiguity. There are so many boxes and flyouts to explore, it's difficult to find out what tools you're accessing.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great experience to use Microsoft Azure. As a newcomer or startup business, I was able to manage and operate a comprehensive and little complex enterprise business solution with no system administrator. Without Azure, I would not have been able to handle our business.

  ### 7. Microsoft Azure CDN review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Munyimwa T. | Monitoring and Evaluation officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Its inexpensive; comes with pay as as yo go options to choose from, easy to set up and use, easily integrates to Azure and other services, helps to reduce load time of apps hence saving data bandwidth, great customer support, offers regular insights and analytics about product usage.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Certainly requires some programming background, does not integrate/support web sockets

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

Eases management of applications and guarantees security of your apps and api.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to speed up our apps, save on bandwidth and improve our security of apps and apis.

  ### 8. Solution for e-Commerce plaform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hernán P. | Jefe de Area IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

We started using Azure CDN by a requirement that made the department eCommerce company. To use one of the platforms where we published our online stores we requested that the images were hosted on a dedicated server images to display them properly froma web.

For this reason we decided to use Azure CDN, to thereby have two advantages: having its own image storage service in the cloud plus all the benefits of a CDN network.

Having the images distributed according to the proximity of the user, the platform achieved a much higher performance, allowing our customers to access the images of our products much faster.

We can also offer e-commerce department third-party tools for Llos themselves could upload online photographs of our products.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

With respect to the negative things I could name the complexity of implementation. While it was not a very difficult task is quite confusing process for the CDN platform is configured correctly. The steps are few but confused when implemented. It should improve slightly this.

One point that should be corrected is to provide tools for uploading and downloading of images from the blob of Azure CDN. The administration of the images has to be done with third party tools.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

Undoubtedly if someone needs to use a hosting service images and has an account must implement Azure CDN. It is very efficient and practical.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned earlier, it was implemented in order to have a platform images distributed geographically efficient way for our e-commerce online stores. We managed to have a platform mounted within hours that largely met our expectations.

  ### 10. Fast and Reliable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drake W. | Software Development, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Very easy to set up, management console is decent, fast and generally easy to set up. I haven't had any issues with downtimes, and the service is set at a decent price.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

It took about 48 hours for the service to work initially. While the dashboard is alright, it could use a touch up.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

Its a pleasure to use and setup, just be aware that it may take some time for the DNS to clear up.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

File hosting for a public Linux repo. This solves global scalability and uptime that we were facing with other providers.

  ### 11. Review for Microsoft Azure CDN

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** dhanilan m. | Chief Executive Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Best CDN that works seamlessly with the Azure stack offerings. Different locations can be chosen. And it applies to the whole of the App contents. the have a lot of regions especially in the US continent. This gave us a lot of performance improvement and faster page loads

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

More regions to be covered in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

Must try CDN for Cloud users . Especially those who are currently using the Azure cloud services

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Publishing our Public website in Azure and using Azure CDN gave us a lot of performance improvement

  ### 12. Surprisingly Solid CDN

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cecelia D. | Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

The user interface is relatively intuitive, but Windows 8.1-like (yuck). It does combine this familiar interface with all of the well known styles of Windows, and all of the utilities offered by most other CDN services. It couples well with other Microsoft products - so if that's your base of choice, Azure is the way to go.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

It's a little clunky and has many, many utilities. Sometimes this makes it hard to navigate and do the things you want to do. Initial set up if difficult, and having a step-by-step would be beneficial.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

Be a Windows person!

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Serving up virtual machines. Using it to provide virtual desktops. All Microsoft products are easily integrated which is something lacking in Linux-based platforms.

  ### 13. The Microsoft option for CDN

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo S. | Web Programmer, Wholesale, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Integrates well with other microsoft tools like asp.net .net framework c# built apps. It's also part of the Azure stack so if you're into it, it may be the best cdn option for you in terms of integration

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Compared to other CDN services without the microsoft logo printed on it, Azure feels like it lacks ease of use, and the price is somewhat high.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

Try it if you're willing to give your CC for verification. If you use Azure it will most likely fit your needs.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content delivery, Azure integration, Assets caching.

  ### 14. Backed by a big name, but the interface is lacking

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric K. | Grand Poobah, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

The CDN itself is a solid product. Reliable and decent SLA. This product seems somewhat more open and accessible than Microsoft's more proprietary offerings.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

I've never liked the Azure web interface. While it's possible to avoid this completely, I'm not a daily or even weekly user of the Azure CDN so I would rather utilize the lower learning curve of the web interface, but it's just so different from other interface that it makes it hard to get anything done. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice and slick, but just give me something that works!

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

Take the time to learn the command line interface and stick to that.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm just looking for a low cost solution to getting data into the cloud and out to my customers. Azure CDN does the trick.

  ### 15. Reliable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lenore B. | Project Engineer, Civil Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Azure is a product of a reputable and reliable company. It has a variety of feature to make creating and running your application easy. Most common languages are supported, such as Java and Python. For the viewers, page delivery and load time is fast. And large streaming media is supported.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Azure CDN is expensive compared to other options. There is a learning curve.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

Give it a try, but go with something else if you are on a budget. However, it will at least be a speed upgrade to cloud computing based sites.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed up our website and content delivery

  ### 16. Enjoying Microsoft Azure? Dont look elsewhere for a CDN Provider

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio R. | Analista de Gestion TIC, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

It integrates greatly with the Microsoft Azure cloud, already hosting your app with them? why not add their CDN.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

You can not use them with your own servers, you have to be hosted on the Azure cloud

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Content Delivery Network:**

You only get charged with the services you use, it all adds up to your Microsoft Azure bill so you don't have to calculate the total yourself

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streaming media, flash, silverlight, mp4, windows media.

First time setting up cdn can take some time for content to load up.

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

fast resource access for web/app soltuions

  ### 18. Good infrastructure

**What do you like best about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

For me, it is easy to set up and insight tool from the Azure Portal.

**What do you dislike about Azure Content Delivery Network?**

Still a bit confuse on the integration with some tecnologies, lack of servers at Australia

**What problems is Azure Content Delivery Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am developing a new dashboard panel, and it must to be fast and clean.
