There are plenty of file transfer programs such as Filezilla, WinSCP etc... but a lot of these programs are very basic and do not offer the range of features that come with MFT. **What do you dislike about Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT)?** With all the features that come with MFT, it also adds complexity. I have raised numerous cases with Axway to get issues fixed because of this complexity. **What problems is Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT) solving and how is that benefiting you?** One problem that it solves is to be able to remove weak ciphers, HMACs and Key Exchanges. We are able to catalog all client transfers via logs and work out which clients are using these weak protocols. We then contact the individual clients and ask them to upgrade their protocols.
