Missing Functionality: The system currently lacks integration with the PAM solution for real-time password extraction.

We are suing Axway SaaS product . There zero downtime or outage during monthly patches and product updates,

The Axway PSO team helped us configure good design patterns for File transfer. Which we are able to adopt and expand.

we have good robust reliable file transfer and multiple patterns running efficiently and reliably always .

What do you like best about Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT)?

Axway Managed File Transfer features a lightweight binary, just a few megabytes in size, and does not require a root user ID for installation. This makes it straightforward to set up within an enterprise environment. The solution can be deployed easily using an Ansible playbook and is also available as a Docker or Podman image for use in the cloud.

File transfers are fully secured with TLS 1.2 or higher, and the platform supports MTLS authentication to further protect file transfers.

Additionally, it offers centralized governance and event-based tracking, making it simple to monitor and manage file transfers.

There should be a excel/csv based downloadable feature via governance portal to down list of applications, flow configurations, security posture details etc.

What do you like best about Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT)?

Axway SaaS provides strong security measures, featuring comprehensive file scanning options that safeguard sensitive data. Setting up accounts is straightforward, and while the platform’s API integration is currently being evaluated, it promises greater workflow efficiency and future-ready transfer solutions. Our transition from the on-premises MFT system to Axway SaaS went remarkably smoothly, finishing well ahead of schedule. Collaborating with Axway Professional Services was instrumental in this achievement and had a significant positive impact.

Their ZDU feature is highly recommended to minimise interruptions to file transfers. Previously, we struggled to schedule downtimes on our on-premises version because the platform handles critical transfers for us.

From monitoring perspective also, we were able to integrate to our existing observability platform, which provided us flexibility of creating dashboards/alerts based on our requirements and generate alerts/incidents into our ITSM tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
