The reliable and secure nature of the platform, with guaranteed delivery, non-repudiation, encryption, and high uptime, ensures that documents are delivered exactly once, an essential need for industries like automotive, retail, finance, pharma, and manufacturing. What do you dislike about Axway B2B Integration?
I find the platform has a steep learning curve, as mapping, flows, and partner configuration can feel complex for new users. It requires skilled EDI/B2B engineers to maximize its benefits, and would greatly benefit from a more intuitive UI with better beginner guidance and simplified mapping steps. Some areas of the UI/UX feel outdated, with screens that look technical and navigationally heavy, especially in older versions, making it less accessible for business users. Additionally, the performance of the Mapping Studio can be sluggish with large, complex maps, necessitating restarts and being less smooth than modern IDEs for debugging. Partner onboarding still often needs a technical touch, demanding engineering time for complex setups despite automation. The process of upgrades and patches can be burdensome, requiring careful planning, potential downtime, and extensive testing effort. Although the documentation is extensive, it can be inconsistent across products and deep technical topics require navigating multiple references. Lastly, the cost structure is a concern, as the site’s enterprise-level power comes with steep pricing unsuitable for smaller companies, and extra features can add to the expense.
