As a UX designer - I get a lot of inspiration from the experience of using the tool. It's very cleverly designed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has a fairly steep learning curve. I think the ideal user of Axure is someone with some coding experience. There are a fair share of debugging moments that come up where you need to ask yourself "Why is it behaving like this? What am I actually telling Axure to do?" I've used most prototyping solutions out there, Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision, etc. and I found repeatedly that none of them match that power that Axure has. Occasionally I'll think, "I'll try to build this in [ insert software ]" and most times I regret it. Variables, dynamic states, the pre-built widget library (what a time saver that is!!); all are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's visual design capabilities could continue to use improvement and collaboration. For instance, we are using Figma to form our visual design library because there are a few things we can't do in Axure visually. However, when I go to build a functional page, with dynamic states and everything, I'm reminded that Axure does that far better, so I often end up building 2 things - a visual version and then a functional version. One day I hope to have a tool that does both well! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how Axure allows you to build clean, complex, highly interactive prototypes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to have more icons, and components to be available by default rather than having to download them from the Axure forum Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the fact that we can 'code' conditional statements and have a logical formatting. For example, we can have IF/THEN statements to have different interactions based on different 'inputs'. This is much easier than creating multiple screens/boards and then linking them up individually. I have not seen this feature in any other apps I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not have any issues with the app. But, I imagine that the interface may seem a little daunting to new users because of its similarity with coding platforms. The learning curve is ever so slightly steeper than other prototyping software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Axure RP is a top-notch wireframing tool. Of the various tools I've used, including Balsamiq and Adobe products, I've found Axure to be the best-in-class solution for wireframing specifically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The wireframing capability of Axure RP is top-notch. For prototyping, I prefer Adobe XD, which I find easier to use and more powerful in its range of applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Axure is by far the best tool I've used for UX Design. In previous years I've used Photoshop, Sketch, and briefly Figma. Axure gives me a lot more control without headaches. I can easily simulate animations and transitions right within the tool. No plugins are needed. Pull in shared libraries. The built-in version control is a huge win for this tool. This was completely missing from tools like Sketch, which makes collaboration difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Axure is powerful. Some discretion is needed to not "over-engineer" a prototype or sink a lot of time into the prototyping. For example, my team has decided that anything simulating JS or string manipulation is duplicative and not worth the effort. There is also a steep learning curve for Axure since it is so powerful. So getting up and running takes a little longer, but it is worth the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Axure is the best user-friendly Layout, and I like the prototyping feature that provides flexibility to produce high fidelity prototypes. It is the best software that can add more advantages in terms of team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say I like the way the comments are feedback system works. It has to be improved a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to share wireframes even with people who do not have the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price tag is pretty steep and it does take a while to understand exactly how to use the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I loved that I was able to use this while in grad school. It was easy to learn in a short time abs I was able to create wireframes with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the export was not the most intuitive and it creates some frustration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
